I’ve been to several Metro Diners but this one❤️❤️❤️ it’s July and the owner obviously loves their America. So adorably decorated. Felt so hometown. Next Jamie our server, made you feel even more hometown with her wonderful service. Just the kindest, sweetest made you feel right at home kinda girl. Coffe was hot, refills were plentiful and food tasty and delicious. Kiddos to you Metro… keep up the excellent service. Indoor/outdoor seating and plenty of parking.

Would HIGHLY recommend this place! The atmosphere was warm, welcoming & exactly what you’d expect from a diner. The food was so flavorful and beyond delicious 🤤. Our server, Geo, was engaging, attentive and super friendly - a true asset to the diner.

On vacation and we've been here 3 times so far and everything is delicious!! Staff is super friendly and attentive, especially Donna! She was wonderful, stayed past her time off to make sure it's and other customers didn't have to wait to bed helped. She will help you select food if wanted and tell you why the way they make it is better than other places! Super friendly and great sense of humor, a real asset to the diner. Atmosphere is warm and inviting. Steak and scramble bowl, Charleston shrimp and grits, chicken fingers, fish and chips, pot roast, all delicious. Would HIGHLY recommend you try this place!

We went here after church. It was a little busy and there was a short wait. Once seated our waitress Jilan explained all the specials and made some recommendations. Overall the food, price and service was excellent. I will be back.

This is my favorite breakfast place in south Florida. Whether dine in or take out the quality is the same. Southern charm, mouth watering food, they haven’t missed 1 time. Staff is vibrant and the place is clean and service is quick. Go try them you’ll fall in love too. (Meat lover Omlett or chicken & waffle with strawberry butter.)

Great food and a friendly atmosphere. My kids and I love the chicken and waffles. The turkey pot pie and omelets are very tasty. We've eaten here many times and always leave full and happy!

Service was great, restaurant was clean. Ordered burgers which were good. Side “fruit salad”, not as good. Overall, pretty decent. Reliable if nothing else. Thanks

We went to Metro Diner for Thanksgiving dinner 🥘 and it was great! Classic and just the way we wanted it. All of us were blown away by the turkey, it was sooo moist! We gobbled it all up with big smiles. The staff at this location, makes us always feel at home. It has a same town vibe as they recognize a face and make chit chat, which we love. The food came out timely and made perfectly. They were open until 2pm and no reservations were needed. We got seated quickly for a flawless experience. Totally a family friendly place. As a family we go here for their breakfast regularly, especially at my birthday… highly recommend! This was our first time with dinner and we were very satisfied! Thank you to the entire staff for being the highlight to our Thanksgiving. It was fantastic from beginning to end!

I came here for my birthday to have a simple affordable dinner and it was quite nice. Although my first order did have some complications with the meat in it had gone bad and i returned it. I ordered something else and it was much better. Overall good services they made sure to apologize and even gave us 5$ coupons for our next visits which was appreciated.

Great food, portions, and a great family style diner! I've gone there quite a few times and haven't been disappointed! The waitress today seemed new so service took much longer than usual but all in all was a good visit!

We had a new server who did wonderful on her first day. The food was absolutely perfect. SO GOOD. Definitely recommend to anyone in the area, visiting or residing. It was busy but we didn't have a long wait and were taken care of very well. Can't wait to go back!

Always an absolute treat to come here 🥰 my husband and I come every so often, just for a nice relaxing but quick meal. The atmosphere is so cute and fun, especially during the holidays right now. Wait staff are the best ever, always smiling and recognizing everyone when they come 😊

Never had an issue here, staffs always sweet and fast, foods always great, kind to little ones and cute Halloween decorations. Update: Gotta dock some stars as we went in and I believe our server was having an off day which was understandable but $7 for 2 sodas (were never offered a refill) and we were charged full price not the kids price for our child's food. Definitely not the best day there.

What a delightful breakfast we had! First off our server Laurie was extremely attentive and professional. Right off the bat she was making breakfast suggestions and her recommendations were spot on! We enjoyed our food and the service was what made it so wonderful. Laurie is a Gen! We will definitely be back the next time we are in Cape Coral. Great place! Great service!

This is the first place we had breakfast on our vacation in Cape Coral, Fla. and after the food silence broke it was determined this would also be the last place we’d eat before we left. When you walk in there’s a big sign that says ‘where the locals eat’. I thought that’s a little pretentious. But after watching a couple sit down and give their complete order as the waitress arrived at their table told me it was true. All eggs were lite and fluffy and so were the pancakes and the waffles. The cinnamon rolls pancakes were awesome! @_Unk_RP

Must have Chicken & Waffles with strawberry butter and their hotsauce and syrup is ABSOLUTELY TO DIE FOR! Our server Makaila was very sweet and gave us great service! No TikTok Makaila, I chose Google instead!

1st visit this am and service and quality of food was excellent! The Eggs Benedict was great! Fruit and waffle was as well! We will definitely return the. Ext time we are visiting Port Charlotte.

We went today for my 2nd visit to my new fave restaurant Metro Diner. We had such a great experience the first time we sat at the little bar again and had our same waitress Jasmine!! She remembered and made us feel so special. We will be going back one more time before I go home to MI, but I will be back next year!! Oh yeah the food and Mimosa was awesome!!

Never been here and wanted to check it out... Glad we did. We ordered the cheese burger and BLT club... Good prices. Both were pretty good! The bread was good. Fresh lettuce. And the Coke was some of the best ! For what we paid and what we got we have zero complaints

it was first time we went and it was last time !!! We were there by 9 a.m we walked to hostess stand I said good morning to her and she didn’t even answer back she look at us and we said can we seat at the bar she just showed with finger like go ahead we sit and she give us menu right away and walk away without saying anything (Not even good morning welcome or anything)! We waited till 09:06 no body great us or ask for drink I looked the chefs with blue T-shirt he right away come to me and I ask him is he gonna take our order or we do have a someone has to take care of our order because we were there like 6-7 min and nobody cared . He apologized and right away come out of kitchen and serve our coffee and water(thanks Cheff )then our server came and took our order and we get our food by 09:22 my coffee was almost finish and she came and filled my coffee and right away she said I will bring your check (like get out of here ) right after she serve our food !!! (I never felt unwelcome before I was almost gonna leave but my wife make calm down ) MOST BLOODY AWFUL service my wife ask for Turkey sausages and she gave pork she just eat egg and cover rest off it with napkin my wife didn’t even touch potato and sausage!!! And there was another couple came right after they sit she was all around them she might know them!!! Honestly I like my chicken Benedict but I WILL NEVER EVER GO BACK TO GET CRAB BLOODY AWFUL AND NOT RESPECTING SERVICE I wonder any of workers had food handling certificates and training about customer service ( Accept cheff with blue shirt 👏🏻)

First time at Metro Diner. The food was delicious! I've gone to other diners but this restaurant has become my favorite. Their season pumpkin pancakes are amazing! Cream cheese icing, pecans, brown sugar butter, cinnamon. We also ordered the chicken and waffles. The chicken was seasoned well it was not dry. I'm very happy with the food and service here. I'm going to come and try there lunch and dinner soon.

Attentive staff, Jasmine took care of us, we loved that everything is cooked to order and special requests can be accommodated. Breakfast portions were large and for good prices After breakfast on Tuesday, we had to come back to try some dinner items. Chicken and waffles were AMAZING and the husband thoroughly enjoyed his meatloaf plate. Both of us have anothereal for tomorrow.

"Where the locals eat". Arrive before 9:30 for an enjoyable no-wait breakfast. Outdoor tables are shaded, but the inside is so clean & inviting. Seating is comfortable with a mix of uncrowded booths & tables. The menu is very extensive with seasonal & daily specials. Plenty of parking in the rear.

Be ready to have an amazing eating experience! Portions are big and food quality is extraordinary. Customer service was amazing! I plan to come more often, honestly, the flavor of the food here is so on point!
