The park is very clean and well-maintained, and the boat ramp is easy to access and use. We launched our boat and enjoyed a scenic ride on the Caloosahatchee River, which connects to the Gulf of Mexico. The river was calm and beautiful, and we saw some dolphins along the way. The park also has a nice playground for kids, a picnic shelter for parties, and a walking path for exercise. The restrooms were clean and stocked with soap.

Beautiful park with a walkway and benches overlooking the Caloosahatchee river. Has doggie waste bags if you bring your furry friend. Also easy to use boat ramps with restrooms.

This was probably our fifth time at this park, and I decided to write a review :). It is a smaller children's playground, but it is nice because it is completely fenced in. The right side of the playground has a "3-5 year old" label, and the left hand side has a "5-12 year old label." There are 4 small slides, 2 regular swings, and 2 toddler swings. The artificial turf is padded for comfortable falls. There is one child-proof gate that faces East (towards the Caloosahatchee). It is a great enclosed play area for my 3 and 7 year olds. The park itself has a short walking path in the shape of an L, that leads through the neighborhood. There are several benches along the path to sit and enjoy the waterfront views. There are a couple of picnic tables, as well as two pavilions with tables underneath. There's a horseshoe and bags set up as well. There is also a bathroom facility, which I don't have input on, since we didn't use it. There's probably about 10 parking spots, plus another 10 or so for truck/boat trailers. This is due to the boat ramp that has direct Caloosahatchee access. The reason I give this park a 4 is because there is no seating/benches inside of the playground fence, for parents to sit while kids are at play. The park is also in severe need of sun shades. The playground in centered in the lot, and all of the shade trees are on the border, not shielding the playground from the sun/heat at all. It can make the slides and such very hot when exposed to the direct sunlight consistently.

Nice relaxing view of the bridge and river. Playground looks very nice and secured with a fence. Not a very busy boat ramp surprisingly

Always enjoyable, I fish here a lot, some times pass out in the car waiting for the right time . today I saw 3 bright green Iguanas just chilling on the sea wall. Good amenities, great for the kids, awesome drop in spot for the boat. Bring bug spray after sun down

Nice place to have a BBQ and has a nice view of bridge with boats going by. Will stop again as they have a great spot to launch our kayaks (boats too if you have it). Reatrooms clean and a nice area for smaller kids to play.

Super chill, family/dog/boat and fishing friendly. Dolphin watching is always fun, plus the iguanas that wander around the seawall. I grew up a few blocks away and thought it was kinda "meh" (or simply, boring). They've updated and upgraded it with a full play yard with proper swings and castle thing, new benches and actual people being active. Just remember to sanitize yourself and kiddies. And bring plenty of agua for yourself and your doggos.

Clean park on the bay. Multiple benches by the water. Access for 2 boats out when used properly. Clean bathrooms. Appeared to be fishing aloud with proper license. Check guidelines on parking. There's a sign and procedure to park vehicle for amounts of time. Park ranger was there when we went out checking on the area.

Perfect little scenic playground for toddlers. The park is clean and right on the Caloosahatchee river so it provides an amazing view. With a sunset that falls behind you and the family as the kids play. The boat ramp gives you direct access and its behind a quiet little neighborhood. Awesome. Place to visit.

Its a beautiful place to take a short walk around the park. We took our pup, there was not any boaters that day due to high winds but we got to enjoy the beauty of the river and pretty landscaping🌴

When I ride my bike, I do take the time to stop and sit to enjoy the morning sun over the Caloosahatchie River. I also watch the Midpoint Bridge full of cars heading to work in Ft Myers and thank god im not stuck in that traffic.

As of 10/30 this ramp is still closed and does not have any signage indicating. Rosen Park is the alternative location to drop a boat in. Just a heads up!

Horton park is our place of business for rental boat and jetskys but it is a city managed public park where the locals including me like to go for a wall with out pets, it provide cleaning bags, plenty of garbage containers, benches to sit and enjoy the beautifull view of the bridge and river. Two big covered party spaces with plenty sitting and even charcoal grills. Boat ramp, mooring dock , water and restrooms all in very good condition and clean. It also has a fenced playground for childs with lot of equipment to play and enjoy. For growns people also has build in corn hole concrete boards. It is a family friendly and quiet place very well managed.

Very nice launch that’s capable of two vehicles launching. At once. There is also a cute little area to sit and watch the river if you don’t have a boat. There is also a children’s playground. The downside is parking is very limited for boat trailers and you have to download an app to pay. Overall nice launch.

Just a boat ramp, however it is damaged from the hurricane. There are obvious repairs to the dock that need to be done. Extremely busy ramp. Expect a long wait time if you do not get there early enough. Parking is scarce as well and you may have to park on the grass. Be careful of rude boaters as there are many who load and unload here. Take your time and it should be a fine place to unload your boat.

Easy to get in with my kayak. Quite a few Big Boats coming and going, but I was fine in between. I turned Left at the bridge. Beautiful paddle.

Cute little park with lots of parking, picnic tables, BBQ Grills, sheltered benches! An ok view of the River, pelicans, gulls, ospreys and if your lucky... a bald eagle or 3! Nice place to take in cape corals choas. Boat ramp and Bring the Furbabies to play in the grass. Looks like there finally replacing the playground After 14 months too!

Nice park with a great view of the river! There is a boat ramp at the park with a long seawall next to it. The canal water level seems low to me to launch a large boat.

I thought this park was really lovely. I liked that it was dog friendly right on the Caloosahatchee River. It had very clean public Restrooms, Picnic tables & a cute little fenced in Playground for the kids. We Enjoyed our afternoon :) ♡
