It was pretty upsetting when I took a bite of my sandwich and started pulling out plastic. It was slightly melted due to being toasted with the sandwich.

We really enjoyed lunch here. 10x better than panera. I had the half sandwich and salad for lunch. I choose the jalapeño turkey and Cesar salad. Both were delicious. My husband ordered the new Yorker with a salad and enjoyed it. The kids meal was mac and cheese with chips. Overall it was $38. Very delicious lunch. I highly recommend.

We had lunch, it was good, I had the spicy Turkey club on gluten free bread, I'm very thankful they have gluten free options, their sandwiches are really good, if you haven't tried McAlisters you should.

I like going here when I need something a bit better than fast food but don't have time for a big meal at your typical sit down restaurant. The food is tasty pretty much all around and the portions are a good size, especially for the price. Drinks are a good size as well and they offer free refills. Service is quick and the staff is friendly and quite helpful in navigating their large menu. Definitely recommend McAlister's.

Normally we have nothing negative to say about McAlister’s. Food is great, wait time isn’t too long, and service was usually friendly. But unfortunately not today, thanks to “Alexis”. There’s no need to be snippy with guests. And it’s certainly bold to ask for a tip afterwards.

Counter person got our order wrong, it was easily fixed by our server. Food was good and visit was pleasant following the initial error.

Food and service are always great here, the food is refreshing and a decent place to go with family to sit down and relax.

Do not order delivery through their app. Food never arrived. For questions about the order I was directed to DoorDash. DoorDash directed me back to McAlister's. Round and round we went, but still didn't help me get the food.

The dining room smell was horrible, the booth & table were sticky to the touch. Ordered our food, a few moments later we were called back to the counter to be told they were out of potatoes. Several food items were cold on three different plates. When checking out we were asked if we wanted pickles with our sandwiches, no pickles on our plates when we received our food. 7:45 on a Friday evening, one of the worse dining experiences we've ever had with a $40 bill.

Passing through on vacation. I ordered a chicken salad on white bread with mayonnaise on the bread and a side of "Spud Chips". Got a sandwich on dry white toast and a bag if Lays Classic chips. Had to go back to the counter to get some mayo and was told they used to get Spud Chips brand chips, but they can't get them anymore. The chicken salad was so-so. Should have asked for a sample taste before I ordered. The sweet Tea was very good. Restaurant was clean, temperature was comfortable and music is relaxing.

Everything we got was delicious. They have great gluten free bread too.

Visiting the Cape Girardeau city for a youth bowling tournament. The spud was very delicious...and I can not forget the tea!!

We usually enjoy our visit, but on May 15, 2023. We ordered two pecan berry salads with extra dressing. When we got home we found.. we had NO dressing. And to make it worse.. NO one bothered to tell us. When I called to report it. A guy answered, he said they ran out. When we asked why no one said anything.. he replied.. I dunno and sounded like he really didn't care. My husband was furious and refused to go back because of the guys attitude.

I've never had anything I didn't like here, I Doordash on the side and I deliver food from here more then anywhere else. That says a lot.

Everything is delicious. And, of course, you just can't beat their iced tea. I always choose their potato salad as a side because it's fantastic. Friendly and fast service.

Visiting Missouri from Texas and never have this issue at home. Came in to eat lunch today and ordered my usual sandwich. I asked for a Large 12 inch turkey and cheddar sandwich on a baguette. The food comes out with only a 6 inch sandwich. I told the waitress but she said I probably didn’t clarify that I wanted a 12 inch. I told her that I did and she went and checked and said I’ll put it in for you but you’ll have to come pay for it. I said I’m not paying for y’all’s mistake and she said okay then and just walked off. Never had this issue at a McAllister’s at home but the one time I visit in Missouri they get it wrong and were rude.

Nice cozy feel and my wife and I enjoyed our meal, I felt the food is reasonable price and the service was quicker than expected. Definitely recommend.

The Orange Cranberry Club has been discontinued?!?! The VERY reason McAlisters is different from other options? This the beginning of the end for this franchise! NOTE TO CORPORATE: If people are this passionate about menu items, they return. Seriously disappointed to learn the menu is changing to be more like other restaurants. With a lesser quality than in previous stops, it will be difficult to bring me out of the way to come to a lunch I'm not that thrilled about. But hey, your staff was excellent. I'm sure other places will hire them quickly when you close. 🙄 Thankfully, the sweet tea was as good as usual. Thats not gonna change... is it?!

We've been regularly going to this McAlister's location for nearly two years and we've consistently been happy with the quality and service here. If you're gluten free, you'd have a difficult time finding any other restraunt in Cape that has more gluten free options than McAlister's Deli. You can ask to substitute gluten free bread on any sandwich. They also have great salads and spuds, so most of their menu can be made gluten free. Their app is really handy if you want to check menu items for potential allergens. As with any restaurant, there's potential for cross contamination in the kitchen but we've never gotten sick after eating here. They don't have any gluten free desserts, but that's honestly the only place they're lacking. We highly recommend this place!

It has been years since we last ate at McAlister's, and I must say... I don't know why we waited so long! Everyone was friendly, the food was tasty and, of course, the tea and lemonade were awesome! We will be back! We have visited several times since my original post and they have not disappointed us! Thank you for the awesome service, amazing food and we will back!!

I order from this restaurant through door dash frequently, once or twice a week. I have tried multiple menu items, and each one has been amazing in its own right. The food is always packaged with care, nothing spills, and it always arrives hot. McAlister's is great! Fresh food and a great atmosphere! I absolutely enjoy getting the Southwest Chicken Salad with Avocado and that's my go to every time I go there. The tea is also a must. Overall, McAlister's is a great place to go eat and I'll definitely be back.

Bought 2 teas and was over $7.... They have gone absolutely crazy with their prices. I may go back for a potato on occasion... I'll not buy anymore of their overpriced tea.
