😠 Absolutely no stock of a few items I came in for. To get a rain check was a disaster and not worth waiting anymore. Won't be back. People often mention time, items, Pick, store, wait,

Honestly consumed so much time waiting at the express checkout. I could walk to the nearest pnp and purchase the same items in a shorter amount of time. They do seem to have 14 tills however only 2 are in operation, strange thing that. Hmmm 🤔. Staff overall seem polite but the queues for the till grind my gears. They don’t even enforce the restriction of 10 items or less at the express checkout. 👎 cheers.

Zero stars. Management is terrible!!! Badly stocked. It’s the fourth time I bought meat and it was rotten. I had to throw it away. Make sure you check the dates if you shop here. Also had to wait forever at the tills. Honestly not the pick n pay it use to be. Not going to shop there again

Promotion sticker with no information. Ask. Get 2 packs of avo. Promotion doesn't go off at till. Have to go to customer care to get money back. This means anyone buying that promotion is being stolen from. No prices on artisan bread display. Ask. "Sometimes we have prices there. Honestly why are people paid for mediocrity. It's weird.

queues often stand still as we wait for a supervisor that take their time to show up. There is no sense of respect for the customers' time at this place, it's asif they are playing a game of how long can we make them wait before they give up and leave. I had to go ask myself at the back where the supervisor is and no one knows where she is. This storeshould be ashamed of themselves.

One of the better Pick n Pays in the Western Cape. Super clean, always fresh and very professional and friendly staff make it a pleasant shopping experience. Unfortunately, there aren't many Pick n Pay's left in the province that can stack up against these basic business practices so Gardens PnP deserves a mention and should be congratulated in being only 2nd (imo) to their flagship store where Raymond Ackerman and his family personally go to buy their groceries, which is of course Constantia Village. So well done PnP Gardens and keep up the great work. A special thanks to Nadyeen (not sure if I'm spelling it correctly) who is always friendly, kind, professional and the perfect supervisor one could ever hope for.

Generally a very nice pick n pay with a range of products. I like their wine section the most. The only time I have been disappointed was when I bought hot chips and they were not fresh. The other downside is that there is no free parking for the first hour at Gardens Shopping Centre which is really annoying when you want to buy a few things.

The worst mistake I ever made this year, is to use the car license platform offered by Pick and Pay. What an absolute waste of time and energy. Due to my demanding work schedule, I thought this was the answer. I mean what could go wrong? But boy did it. I registered my vehicle and paid in-store on 7 Nov 22. Towards the end of November, with many trips to the store and having to wait for answers from staff who knew nothing, I opted to pay my license at the traffic department, incurring a penalty on top of that extra payment as a late payment on my license. I paid R893 on the Pick and Pay, and then a further R641 at the municipal offices ( fees and penalty ). I spoke to a Nazley who promised to call me back and send information to me via email, but of course, that did not happen, and then a Ragma at the licensing department at Pick and Pay also promised to call, but never did. I eventually spoke to a Reyaaz, who promised that a refund would be credited to me on 9 Dec 22 and that it would reflect in my account 48 hours later. Today, 15 Dec 22, still no refund. I called the offices again and was told that he ( Reyaaz ) has to query it with the manager, who incidentally was not available when I wanted to speak to him, they never are! So I wait on the refund as promised by Reyaaz today, as well as a promised phone call from him to report on the progress of this refund. I would not recommend using this platform. The staff cannot help you and customer service is sorely lacking here. Very disappointing. Lesson learned!

Would be acceptable if it weren't for these impossible checkouts. While a cashier one floor up at woolworth manages 5 customers, at picknpay she is lucky to have one. You almost want to push them or put yourself behind the cash register. Even worse, last time she got a stack of banknotes from another colleague, stopped scanning my items and counted the bills for a few minutes. No, you can't do that after you're done with the customer. If everything is finally and actually scanned, the pay terminals do not accept payments through apple pay via apple watch. They do not accept any other contactless payments either. In fact, the only shop in Cape Town that doesn't do this. Try back and forth, swipe doesn't work either, you have to insert the card like in the Nineties. A delight once you got out of that supermarket.

Loved my shopping experience at this retailer in Gardens Centre. If you're in a hurry, pop in at this Pick n Pay. No long queues, hassle free with fantastic customer service. Thank you to the Management and Staff of this outlet.

Decent amount of stock. But queues often slow. Also cannot stand that 80% of the trolleys are broken where there should be a shelf to place fragile items (like eggs). Can seldom find a working trolley the last couple months.

Nasty smell of meat when entering the store. However, renovations are going well, looking good...but many items do not have prices on the shelves

Great store. I love that it's right next to Wellness Warehouse, where you can buy True Nature delicious plant based frozen food!

We really like our local Pick n Pay and the staff! 🤗😊 However... a PnP problem... the price you see on the shelf & the price you pay at the till OFTEN DIFFER!!! The discrepancy is not on every item, but on a trolley it can be 2 or 3 items. Generally the price at till is higher. Today it was R5 difference on a cleaning detergent spray. A previous shop it was a R20 difference on a bottle of olive oil. Shoppers always check your till slips!

Nice and big, wide aisles, good produce and great fish section. Plus you get 45 mins free parking on the roof.

Customer service is really poor - the tellers are too busy talking and laughing (loudly) to greet one and the manager was even worse when I tried speaking to her. A bad experience - would rather have automated check outs!

Everything is neat, clean and fully stocked... But it seems every time I've finished shopping I need to wait an eternity at the tills to pay. Not sure why more tills aren't open more regularly either...
