Went for pick n pay wine festival.

Wonderful that the fauna and flora are being conserved, but the Kenilworth Racecourse owners need to get rid of all the blue gum and replace with indigenous trees. Bluegum poisons the soil under it, very little grows under blue gum.

I went to the Sea Food Festival and had an amazing time.Enjoyed the food , happy atmosphere and the glamour of horse racing, the colour and the anticipation! A downside however, I won a consolation prize from Cape Racing and now almost 2weeks later I am still waiting for them to pay me !

It the most picturest recourse in South Africa with a protected/conservation area in the middle. It also houses the quarantine station for all equine exports. It has great facilities on race days only.

It was an amazing experience. Well doen to the event organisers. Food, drink and music entertainment.

My very first experience at the racecourse. Was FABULOUS!! Enjoyed the festival however found the seating areas dis not accommodate the amount of people that attended. It was well organized no long queues. Enough staff to accommodate the bar area...all in all the Seafood and Jazz festival was well organized. 👌

There's no enough soccer fiches, not more coupon and only one cashier for more than 10 people waiting in queue.

Attended on Saturday 24th June and was surprised to get free admission. Good start. We had a bet and went to the bar to be told we had to go upstairs for draught beer. We went upstairs and after a little chat we found ourselves in the members bar, courtesy of Robyn Collyer, course manager, which was really pleasant and generous. We watched the races from the balcony where we had a brilliant view and had a couple of winners. Kenilworth is a lovely racecourse, it was pretty quiet on this day, but I imagine it would be rocking on a busy day. If you enjoy racing which I do and are in Cape Town, go, because if you don't, you will really miss out. Just to add, 4 large beers, a bottle of pink champagne plus a sandwich came to R490 or £21 sterling. I'm going to Sandown park this Saturday, £45 for a ticket and I expect a similar drinks package to be about3 times the price.

Very special conservation area. Spider and reptile walk was amazing.

Attended a Wine Tasting event .it was mesmerizing all the different wines. Lovely atmosphere and well attended. Saturday 29th April

My first visit. Horse riding is not my sport. But was great to actually visit an actual race course field.
