Would not recommend. Nail tech is not qualified to do basic nails. She was spilling product all over the place. She was gossiping with her colleague about how little tip someone had left and hinted at me hopefully leaving something better. The nail shapes are inconsistent and the nail design I asked for was executed badly and the lines clearly show it was done with an unsure and shaky hand. Nails looked okay from far but not up close and started lifting after 10 days. Today marks exactly 2 weeks and one nail has fallen off. Way way overpriced, poorly qualified nail techs who do rush work. Poor workmanship, she left product underneath my nails didn't bother to remove it. Went and got my nails redone elsewhere and saw my natural nails were shaped horribly and were left too narrow to do the design I wanted and they ended up being cut off because the tech couldn't work with narrow nails. Look at how weird the shape was?!

Had a very bad experience at Boa Seapoint. 🤯🤯🤯 This is not the first time!!! I've had nails lifting, filing my cuticles till it's bleeding, nails bending. I couldn't stay any longer to complete my nails today, because the technician was running behind, and I needed to attend another appointment. The times on your booking system is NOT accurate. CHANGE IT, so that we as clients know exactly how long your technicians will take to complete a set, fills or any other services!! The technician used the wrong powder on my nails ( POLYMER instead of HARD ACRYLIC and was still bending like on the picture attached. Application of the POLYMER was horrific. The technician re-apply ontop of the mess she made and ends up very thick!! 😔😔😔) I walked out and was so disappointed. I had a function in Hermanus on Thursday and allocated this time today to do my nails. Now I will need to look for someone to soak these nails off, and re-apply them. Everytime I booked my appointment, I arranged this time so that it can fit into my day. They are ALWAYS behind. My last appointment I waited 20min before my nail technician helped me. It seems like they give the professional nail technicians job to a person who is supposed to do Manicures or foot massages.

Fine. Would not return. Booked a certain treatment and only budgeted for a certain amount. Surprised by the extra charge because the nail tech suggested French tips while choosing a colour with no indication that it will be extra. The staff were also unprofessional as the next person after my booking arrived and I felt as if I needed to leave mid treatment while getting side eyes from the front desk staff. Overpriced for the type of service and lifting gel polish I've received - hasn't even been a week yet and two nails peeled off.

My friend and I booked a pedicure for 15h00 but we were only helped at 15h30 at this point the pedi stations were still not available, so the technicians started cutting nails, pushing back cuticles and buffing our toe nails by the manicure stations.... I have to say it was a little awkward, uncomfortable and quite painful as the skin wasn't soft or sanitary as it hadn't been soaked and washed beforehand. My nail tech buffed my nails so aggressively without concentrating and buffed my skin by my big toe right off. I'm now left with a pretty painful wound which will probably scar... She then rubbed salt into the wound which was incredibly painful. I looked at my feet after and there is still dry skin everywhere, my nails were not cut properly, the nails were not buffed correctly, the massage at the end was quite frankly not a massage. Super disappointed...

Cheap product is used, nails are always damaged. Been several times and the soak off leaves your nails damaged. The lady filed way too much and mine and my daughters cuticles were left bleeding. Partner went for a pedi and nails were cut so skew. The lady said she was a trainee. Won't be back again

I had my nails done 3 days ago, my gel has already peeled off of 4 nails. The nail tech damaged my cuticles so bad that I’m having to use topical cortisone, my cuticles are completely raw. On top of that she wasn’t very professional or friendly but the main concern is the quality of the work. Shocking.

I am really disappointed in the quality of the gel nails that I had done.It’s poor service and quality.I had to come back for a fix as my nail had come off.Shortly after it came off again. I will definitely not be going back.

Second time going and extremely disappointed with the outcome of my nail art. Don't sell a service you can't provide. I even hyped the nail tech up and tipped but can't get over how disappointed I am.

I did my nails at Sea Point, and I was more than happy. For a while I have been looking for an affordable place to do my nails. I am a Gel with tips girl and I finally found the perfect place to get what I love. Current did my nails and the patience and care she had was amazing. The staff there was very friendly and kind, they totally do have great customer care. They will take care of you as you deserve. Much love to Boa Sea Point

Seapoint Boa is my favorite. Love the atmosphere & the ladies that work here are always very friendly & accommodating. Excellent manager. All round send all my friends here.

I decided to try Boa, Sea Point soon after the branch opened mainly for convenience and the cute and inviting aesthetic :) My first two appointments were however subpar/mid (polygel lifting, inconsistent shapes, bubbling gel polish and sloppy application) which was disappointing. I gave the branch a break and stuck to doing my nails in Joburg. I came back to Boa a few months later, again for convenience and I hoped for the best. Let me tell you!! Current, was my “third time’s a charm” technician and I cannot express how amazing that has been for me. She is friendly, professional, and her application is neat and consistent. What a Gem and she gets all 5 ✨ . *It would be great if returning clients could select a technician upon booking. Having to walk in or call to confirm a technician’s availability takes away the convenience of booking online.

Let me tell you about these ladies ...lol they are simply the best. I get my nails done here all the time. Friendly talented ladies right here. I love them all. This is my favorite place to relax and get my nails done.

Highly disappointed. Booked for myself and my daughter. And I feel the nail tech did a bad job. There are parts of the acrylic nail not covered, parts of the nail are dented/uneven and parts stuck onto my skin. As well as cuticle work was done badly. During the appointment it felt like the artist was doing a rushed job to finish that the result was not what I asked for.

I am loving BOA Sea Point. Yesterday I had a soak off, gelish nails, treading on my lip & eyebrows. The ladies are skilled and very professional. This is the second time I have done my nails here and I will be coming back. Great for a self-care treat.

I arrived for my appointment, friendly and attentive staff. The soak off was attended to immediately but then I sat waiting for what felt quite long, the management team noticed and had a manager herself do the manicure. She came with a creative solution to a design look/feel I wanted for a specific occasion. Beautiful work and I loved the end result. A couple days later, I ripped one of my nails and they squeezed me in within the hour to fix it at no charge! Thank you to the BOA team - definitely my new go to! :)

Nail tech was good. Customer service was not! Front desk staff mannerisms and work style- leave much to be desired. I would rather suggest the CBD branch.

Honestly so disappointed, did not enjoy the experience at all. 1st and last time ever coming to BOA The technician was do Unprofessional, slow and cut a chuck out of my finger when trimming cuticles. Even after 2 hours she was no where near done. My nails are now damaged and worse than when I came in for the appointment. Horrific experience!

I went to BOA for a pedicure. the pedicure advertised on the website was about 55 minutes for rand 180. unfortunately it was faster for me and i was done after 35 minutes. that means 20 minutes less. but the price is still the same. unfortunately I'm not very enthusiastic. BOA should pay more attention to quality management and time management. the pedicure was still good but much too short :-(
