Awesome little place! We had the Sunday buffet, food was excellent, coffee was great, service was friendly and efficient. Really chilled vibe and a beautiful setting. The desserts are also amazing! Great place to be social and enjoy good food

What an absolute pleasure! Due to it being such a popular restaurant set in such an iconic building I didn't expect to be able to make a reservation for Father's Day a week prior, especially not for 6 people, but as luck would have it they did have room. The food was fabulous, the service was impeccable and the atmosphere was exactly what we were hoping for...relaxed. They were also very accommodating to my wife who has a few allergies (gluten, dairy and sugar). They're very reasonably priced (again, considering location) and have some scrumptious looking goodies to take home (cheesecakes, tarts etc.). We'll definitely be going back to try their lunch menu. Oh, and if you have breakfast with bacon and eggs ask for some chilli tomato jam...

If good coffee is what you're after, then this is the place you want to visit. An incredible place with an array of baked goodies and treats that'll get you salivating! The staff are very helpful and are very intentional about ensuring your every need is taken care of and are always attentive. I recommend visiting!

Beautiful Atmosphere and Friendly staff. We tried the following dishes: Vegetarian Benedict - well made Benedict with warm flavor and well seasoned. Shakshuka - Made with Zucchini instead of the Typical Mixed peppers, flavor slightly lacked the kick of the mixed spices and was slightly salty, but decently made dish Vegan Rosti - Potato Rosti and extra Toast we ordered was burnt which was disappointing. Dish was also quite oily, would not recommend this dish.

It was a daughter and dad brunch and this venue was my daughters choice. I had been there before for breakfast and it was good. We got there just before midday and decided to wait to see the harvest table offering. Wow, what a spread!! The cream of the crop was the service of Benson, who wasn’t out waitron but passionately explained every dish to us, whetted our appetite with a taster or two, wow excellent food and reasonably priced as well. The Tuscan chicken was simply to die for and got finished within 5 minutes before getting replenished. Within minutes the place filled up as if it was feeding time😂. Obviously the place is well known. Will definitely be back to taste more items including those flapjacks with blueberry and butter scotch, which according to Benson is the Best! Can’t wait to go back

What a lovely surprise! It’s well hidden behind the Newlands Stadium in Cape Town-Opposite the Beer Refinery. Most tasty Red Cappucino and cheescake. A MUST for everyone Fresh pastries, Lovely food, serving anything(even breakfast) anytime of day. Staff are so Vibrant and reflecting a bunch of enthusiastic energy. You must try it!

A delightful discovery. I have gone too long without knowing about this beautiful, quiet corner of Newlands. Very accessible being just off the Main road, leafy with a subtle soundtrack of the flowing river which makes for a calm, peaceful setting. The service is amazing and I highly recommend the harvest table experience. All the food items were fresh and delicious.

The homemade meal buffet style lunch makes this my favourite food spot in Cape Town. Delicious, wholesome food with a variety of options. I've never left disappointed. If you're there for breakfast the bran muffins and banana bread are also fantastic with a coffee. Also, free parking :)
