Wonderful guest house in quiet area with attentive staff. Clean, well furnished rooms and a great breakfast too. Conveniently situated with access to nearby motorway and shops. Owner managed and that shone through in so many ways. A real find and recommended.

My room was consistently cleaned, with bedding replaced regularly and towels looked after daily. The staff helpful and friendly. Ideally located with a short drive to any part of the beautiful Cape. Lovely gardens with a magnificent view of the mountain. Walked daily in the beautiful surrounding suburbs and to the close-by restaurants. Thank you again!

Everything about Riverview is outstanding and above average. No wonder it has 4 stars. We stayed during a family crisis with a family member very ill in Grootte Schuur Hospital. The staff took care of us in such a caring way. The rooms were comfortable and had everything we needed during our stay. Located in the suburbs but just 15 minutes from the city centre, this scenic guest house is perfectly situated to experience what life is like on the other side of the iconic table mountain. It’s quiet and the perfect place to relax, so don’t choose it if you enjoy the hustle and bustle of city life, but saying that you are just 10 minutes walk from the up market, Cavendish Square,. Breakfast is included and it is amazing ! A real feature of this accommodation. Rooms and the communal spaces are large and luxurious. A great deal of attention as been paid to the look and feel of this property. I came for work and took Ubers from here into the city everyday. Ubers are a cheap and easy way of getting around and since there is limited local transport, I would recommend this. You can get to the city for under £10.

Wonderful place and service. Confortable bed, spacious room, and everything you need for your stay. The service is fantastic, you don’t really need to ask for anything as they are always offering things to you to make you feel comfortable. The neighbourhood is safe and as a female traveller, I am feeling safe in general. I really like boutique and modern hotels, but when you are in Cape Town with a view like this guest house has, you better choose these type of place!

The breakfast each morning was a delightful way to wake up. Comfortable rooms and great water pressure in the showers. Amazing views of the mountains on the roof. Friendly and kind staff! Highly recommend!
