Gosh where do I start. What a disappointing and disgraceful experience my aunt and my uncle had. I saw this deal on Wikideals and told them about it because they wanted to get out for their birthdays. They purchased 2 deals(meaning 2 nights stay at the hotel) and another deal(meal at the restaurant for 2). Upon arrival on Saturday, 18 November 2023 afternoon they were showed to their rooms which was not very "clean". It was dusty, stuffy, the beds weren't made up properly and the carpets were dirty. They asked to see the manager about this but in the interim they decided to use the meal deal and grab something to eat whilst the room situation gets sorted. The food was very disappointing as well. The Gourmet burger was a disgrace. The roll was so hard, very unappetizing. The manager eventually said they will accommodate them with another room(which was higher up and looked a bit better at least). The supper they ordered the evening was really sad. My aunt wanted Prawns but they were out of stock. My uncle decided to get the catch of the day which was Kingklip but he says it was very much overcooked and completely dry. The potatoes for the fries was not even peeled properly not to mention the coffee, the milk was so diluted that the coffee did not even change colour when the milk was added. The floors in the dining and reception area was so sticky as if it wasn't cleaned for a while. Their toilet couldn't flush, they were given a bucket to fill with water to help with the flushing. We are really highly disappointed. The only good out of the whole weekend was the great service received from Precious - he was always smiling and was always friendly and went the extra mile for them. He deserves a raise. JJ also showed great service when they had breakfast on Monday morning. The food seemed to be much better that morning and everything seemed much more organized. My aunt and my uncle says they will definitely not recommend this place to anyone. This place needs better service, better chefs and better cleaning staff. The day my aunt them came home so they sent an email to the manager/owner of the place but until today they received no response. Very unprofessional.

This hotel experience is top tier. I brought along my wife and we had a lovely experience. JJ was very accommodating and assisted us with everything we needed. Breakfast is made by a handful of warm and friendly chefs - THIS IS A SOLID STAY AND HIDDEN GEM ! Lots of credit to the staff as no matter what time of the day it is - everyone is extremely warm and friendly. Deffs a 10/10 from me and would recommend.

Went to Auberge Hotel for lunch and the service we received was by far the best in Cape Town. JJ made our stay amazing. He was so kind and very accommodating. The food and drinks was top quality and he made every effort to get everything perfect for us. Would definitely recommend.

We were at the restaurant with my friends for our Wikideals coupons, the beef burgers were to die for.the guy who was serving us was so quick and friendly. The water in the pool was good. We are definitely coming back!! I'm bringing along my hubby and kids

This hotel has so much potential to be good purely based on the location. But this was honestly the worst hotel experience I have ever had. The rooms are horrible, windows banging, cockroaches everywhere, extremely outdated finishes, horrible bathrooms. Unprofessional staff. I had to immediately book different accommodation as I could not stay there. Also, the wiki deals package that includes this hotel is a bit deceiving, as the cover photo shows a five star hotel in Greenpoint (only the massages is there). Yes the fine print does say Auberge Hotel, but I was not expecting this bad of an experience!

You have to pay for everything for ice you have to pay R30 . They didn't even want to give us glasses to take to the room they said they didn't have glasses they ended up giving us old discoloured chipped plastic glasses. The Barman should be thought some manners he doesn't have any work etiquette he is always forcing you to buy something even after telling him that I don't drink alcohol, he is still persistant. They need some drastic changes there.

We slept well. Our room and the hallways can use an upgrade. However, a big positive is the friendly service, especially from our barman & waiter, Precious. He is the star of the hotel. The curry is also amazing, so kudos to the kitchen staff as well.

Your place is pathetic! your walls and doors are all dirty! Your blankets had blood and yellow stains on it. I stood in that room for 10min and checked out IMMEDIATELY! how do you explain this? you will definitely be getting a blasting from me all over on every social media! good luck keeping your doors open!
