Actually sad that I have to select 1 star. They don't even deserve it. Disappointing is a real understatement. Short and sweet: - Saw them on Uber Eats with their special 2 burgers for R160 - Thought we might give it a go and support local - Ordered and saw the delivery will only be in more than an hour. - Came to read the reviews and then already realised I made a mistake ordering from them. - They are not close to me as stated on the app, they are infact quite far. - Food eventually got here in the worst display and state I could've ever imagined. - Never ate it. Hopefully someone else might appreciate it tomorrow. - See picture. It tells the whole story.

Zero Stars! 1. The order arrived 1,5 hours after ordering! I ordered using UberEats, but the “restaurant” uses it own delivery personnel. The delivery guy pulled the order out of an old backpack, cold and smushed. 2. The quality of the burger was seriously bad. I ordered the Wisconsin Burger, and at R169 per burger you would expect a top quality burger, only to be left wanting with an excuse of a burger that should not be sold for any more than R35. It was bland, and it was clear that they do not use quality meat. The only mildly okay thing about the place are the potato wedges, which would have been edible, had the order arrived sooner and not freezing cold. 3.Its seriously overpriced. I touched on this in 2., but only a mention of it would be an understatement. I can’t imagine anyone has ever ordered from this place a second time. If you have no taste buds, no regard for money and an hour and a half to spare, order from New York Burger Co. in Cape Town. Otherwise, AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Almost no sauce, extremely salty patty. The first time I ordered the burger was good, but to taste something like this I feel isn't right. The chips were definitely not fresh the patty doesn't taste fresh either. I'm busy cooking food at home right now even though I paid almost R200 for the special. It's right to do business like this.

Definitely not worth the price or worth the wait. We waited almost 2 hours for our food. We had to phone the restaurant several times... Most calls went unanswered but we managed to get hold of them every now and then. The patty looks like a mixture of mince or something... Definitely not a beef patty. R169 for a burger that I didn't finish. It really isn't good. The chips are mostly potato skins. There is no secret sauce. Just a mushy mess on a bun. Think the tuck shop at my primary school made better burgers than this.

Sad to say my experience was not so great - unfortunately my patty was burnt and there was little to no sauce making the burger not so tasty. The chips were good. The burgers come at quite a hefty price and so I think in order to justify paying that - this business needs to get the burgers 100% right.

Food got here on time, although it was the wrong order nonetheless we put our own cheese on and still tasted like the free burgers you would get at a sports day at school, at best. I wish I read the reviews, I agree with all the reasons as to why this was a terrible experience. They have stock images on their Uber eats profile and leaves a false expectation as to what you get... If you're reading this prior to ordering - just don't do it. You will enjoy dry bread more than this "burger" and "fries" If you're only seeing this after purchasing, I suggest... I'm sorry.

Would give 0 stars if I could. Decided to give them a try after seeing the 2 for 1 special on Uber. Food took forever to get to me, the burgers were a mess when they arrived, and they tasted absolutely terrible. For the price you pay, these burgers are an absolute rip off. Save your money and go elsewhere.

So we ordered 2 burgers from them from Uber eats. I'm sure they use their own drivers even though you order through Uber eats. Our estimated delivery time was 6:55pm - 7:15pm. At 6pm I called the restaurant and they said it was going to leave soon as their driver had a problem. 7:15 came and went so I called, and again my order was still waiting for a driver. When we finally received our burgers at 7:35 everything was cold. 100% would not recommend

Basic burgers but really great flavours in a rustic style. Great specials as well so what they might be lacking Vs some time higher tier burger, they make up for in value. I will continue to eat from these guys 💪

You want a honest review........? New York Burger Co. just popped up on my mr D app home screen, looks delicious! BUY ONE GET ONE FREE! R160 in total for two of the best burgers i have easily had on the Mr Delivery app. The fries were very disappointing, unlike all the other Fast Food chains theirs seemed more.... "Fresh Ingredients". The fries is definitely something i would not get but i would definitely order their burger again, without the fries.
