Good sized stadium equipped with all the necessary. The food stalls weren't great and it is a no alcohol venue. The field is in good condition and the security is very helpful and alert. Would attend events hosted there in future.

This time of the year Athlone stadium is where you should be at. The coons doing their thing. The crowd bringing a huge vibe and all the amazing variety of foods you can purchases.

Let me tell you about this exciting experiment in Athlone Stadium.., on September 03, 2023 I went to watch a game between Stellenbosch FC and Orlando Pirates (MTN 8 wafa-wafa) quarterfinals. Firstly I did not know how to travel to the stadium, so I went to Vangate to catch a taxi and it took me less than 15 minutes to arrived at stadium just before the kickoff. That is satisfying to be accessed by public transport and I was also happy to see people came out in numbers. It is a beautiful and well structured local stadium. It's unique design is an equitable view of the field also providing safety between fans and players. I was entertained by the huge amount of fans showed up. Can't keep quiet about the breathtaking joy I had here.

That is a great stadium, but it needs to be upgraded. Speakers that are hanging are Old speakers.

Beautiful stadium with great facilities - would only comment on the road as you enter - needs a bit of work to make it more car-friendly. If you have a 4x4 you’re fine ✅

Easily accessible venue with little traffic congestion on sporting events days. The traffic flow was smooth considering it was a 24000 crowd attendance.
