It's a dump at the best of times. The oriental owners are rude, the beer always warm and music too loud. Do not even try and go to the toilet unless you would like a whole lot of unfriendlies to go home with you. It leaves a lot to be desired and I'm not sure how they got or keep their licence. Staff at the bar are normally as unhelpful as they can be.

The Asian owners really do not care about their business. The place stinks... Literally. The bouncers are only there for extra tips from criminals wanting to enter, harass and steal from people. The place shouldn't have survived after the pandemic. Yuck

It's a student bar. Service is not that great and the place itself is not well maintained. However, I guess that is what allows them to keep their prices affordable. It's no VIP experience but you'll get some good music and meet some good people without breaking bank. It does get rowdy sometimes though

Place is good for cheap alcohol. But not very good if you have guests. You can go alone, or with friends that know that it's not a fancy place. It's just a place for cheap booze in Rondebosch. It's not fancy, it's just okay. Customer service is also not amazing. The service ladies will act uninterested until they see you have money.

Nice people here. They waited for us to finish our beers before closing.

I drink black labels and 2 black labels cost 55rand that's a bargain. Especially hanging with friends

Well I mean it's just a bar, so if you into that kinda thing. There is normally a DJ at night, and people there are friendly for the most part. Drink prices aren't the worst, I can stomach it. They have 3 pool tables, a casino area (never been in though), they do those Hookah or Shisha pipes, as well as having padded couches and like "booths"/tables if you want to go wild with your friends buying bottles. All in all I normally have fun when I visit, but am by no means a regular if I'm honest. If you in the area, why not try?

Zevolis easy to find from the main rd. Has a vibey atmosphere with Great lineup of DJs , doesn't get to crowded and bar prices are very reasonable! Great service , security and spacious.

Love the DJ music.... Can relax and dance

The atmosphere is amazing and the place is usually filled with kind hearted intellectuals who are happy to share their expertise over a quart or more. They serve any type of drink but most prefer their low price beer quarts.

Honestly this is the worse bar with no one answering the phone for enquiries. Very dark and not very clean. Not your average upmarket bar and not the type of people you would normally socialize with. Avoid if you can.

Zevolis Bar is like to me a community of people I have known for years and meeting there is like going to your uncle's house and chilling with your cousins. The manager is friendly and very on toes when it comes to tidyness and the happiness of his customers is something he upholds.

My second time visiting and won't go back quickly.. the lady serving at the Bar I think she is called Gerty...was very arrogant and impolite towards customers and she was intoxicated...

If your goal is just relatively cheap alcohol and maybe the vibe, then good for you. Otherwise, it's not a very hygienically great place.
