Spent a lovely evening at this bar. So much more than I expected. Eclectic art, vintage pieces, unique furniture and a great wine list to boot. Filled with wines chosen for very good reason. The host truly makes it an experience. Definitely reccomend this place.

Great intimate drinkery in the heart of historic Heritage Square in the city. Serves excellent cocktails with a great boutique wine and Gin selection among other things. An electric mix of art and furniture which is all for sale as well. Worth a visit.

Cool decor and great drinks at the Drinkery! Met the owner, Shay (and her cute dog), who gave us some great recommendations for our stay in South Africa. Would highly recommend!

Cute bar tucked away in a beautiful historical building. The decor is quirky and unique both inside and out. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony which has a view of the courtyard. The drinks are pricey but unique and delicious. A great place to go before heading on to the next spot for dinner.

By far one of my favourite places in Cape Town. Small and intimate with lots of amazing decor. Lots of style. Must go visit again soon!

The Drinkery is nice chill spot for First Thursday but sadly they serve only Alcoholic Drinks and for the non-Alcoholic normal soda beverages. The balcony is quite awesome as it overlooks Headquarters and Coffee at the Vine.

Honestly one of the best cocktail places I’ve been. It is not cheap, but the recipies and the liquor combinations are premium and quite innovative. They also have traditional cocktails if you don’t want to experiment. It is quite intimate and small and the bar tenders are just so knowledgeable and kind.

This hidden gem has recently unearthed itself in Cape Town after coming under new ownership, who promptly curated a passionate team. This unassuming venue is tastefully decorated and very welcoming, a great cocktail menu, interesting wine list and friendly smiles wait to greet you at the bar, in a place that feels so familiar and personal, one could be forgiven for thinking they were having drinks in their friend's lounge. Drinkery does what they do well, without chasing fuss or fame.

Martini logo in the menu of course make this place look cheap. They did a great interior, great cocktails - why make it cheap with martini logo on the first page of the menu? Martini is for cheap places with plastic cups on The beach. You will fall off the cliff with such easy money taken from martini but lose the vibe and crowd of people who understand what is top 50 best rating …

Pretty unique and cool bar. Cosy like a living room. What makes it special is the lady bartender. It is seldom to get such a good overview and recommendation for drinks, she really knows it! The drinks were fantastic. My wife loved the cocktail with rose. I was all in for the old fashioned whiskey.

What an amazing place, and the hostess/owner ( Shay) gets so involved with her patrons that you want to make this the place to enjoy your after work wind down drink, may it be a beer or cocktail...even a totally refreshing mocktail. I would definitely add this to a place of choice after a long day in the office.

Very cool experience, the entrance is quite deceiving. Walk into a small looking bar but opens up to a viby courtyard fronted by a few bars and restaurants. There so many places to sit and visit that you have to go again. There also art galleries around for when you want to drunkenly impress your friends. The bar we went to was impressive with a huge selection of top brands for high end cocktails. Beware the bill...but the barman are tentative and want to go the extra mile. Was a great spot for Thirst Thursday.

This place is truly a gem. The reception was so warm from everyone (including the owner) and the drinks were really delicious. It’s a great pre or post dinner drink spot and I would highly recommend you pay them a visit.

I have been to this place more times than I can remember in the past few weeks (loved it so much). Charming shabby chich decor, excellent people and great cocktails. It's rare to find such well crafted cocktails, and Alex really knows how to make them. Be brave in tasting, they are really amazing.

A wide range of drinks and fine food on offer. Cosy pub atmosphere. Medium Rare burgers made by Jerry's are delicious. The Kolab Project wine is made by leading winemakers in the Hemel and Aarde valley near Hermanus. wineandco.co.za

We had our yearend function at The Drinkery. We were so impressed by their accommodation towards our requests; their efficient, attentive and friendly staff, and finally the beauty of the beauty of their drinks. Thank you for hosting us. It was fun and a joy.

Cool bar located in Heritage square Cape Town. Wide selection of classic cocktails and spirits. Make yourself comfortable in the lounge area or outside on the undercover deck overlooking courtyard below. Worth checking out when out and about in Bree street.

Loved the service, atmosphere and drinks! Cocktails were not the cheapest, but they were well made :P If you sit inside then it feels like you’re in an exclusive, secret room and if you sit outside, it feels like you’re in the middle of somewhere in Southern Europe. I personally like the bar’s sign as well πŸ˜‰

The space is beautiful for a relaxing night out. The drinks are great, especially from the experimental cocktails. If you see sitting on the balcony, you are likely to hear two different styles of music which can be a bit annoying. On my visit, the drinkery was playing smooth jazz but I could hear the pop music from the eatery downstairs. Nonetheless the place is comfortable and the wait stuff friendly.

What a charming place to enjoy some great South African wine! The owner, Shay Davis has created such a unique inviting space on the upstairs balcony of Heritage Square in Capetown. All sorts of eclectic upholstered furniture with lovely artworks throughout. I wish we had stayed longer. Don’t miss this secret delightful place!
