They have a few selected food delicacies that are mouthwatering but some are a miss. Amazing service very fast and polite. It's reasonably priced as well. It's a great place to catch up with friends but only if it's not crowded.

Obz Cafe is considered an institution for a reason. Relaxed vibe, good service, sit by the window and watch life in Observatory.

Service was okay. The food was good also. It's nothing special. We just went for a quick lunch. The staff were friendly. It's on Lower Main Road so expect loud motorbikes and cars etc. The aesthetic is also very nice.

I dislike giving anything less than 5 stars. Our waiter was lovely tonight. He made us laugh and brought a very nice atmospher. We were the only couple sitting outside tonight from 6.30pm. I'd really appreciate you giving this man a raise, or at least a handshake for carrying your restaurant on such a pedal.

With a vibe that is unique and gives you the vintage feel but in a modern day life obz Cafe has Excellent service and excellent food. Really enjoyed my experience and so did my family.

Pleasant experience! We had the ribs and a Jalapeno Burger. Decent selection of wine, cocktails and shots. Portions are a little small, but good value for money. Atmosphere is amazing, it's nice to hear the laughter of other guests while eating. Service is fast and effective, waiters make sure you're taken care of.

Not a great spot for breakfast or brunch. Its got more of a "drinks with study buddies" kinda vibe - so I suppose its better for an evening social dining & drinks get together. Our breakfast was boring, service was super slow (even though place was empty), coffee/beverages were unimaginative. Staff was friendly, but thats about it. Sadly have nothing awesome to post about our breakfast experience this morning. May be I'll go back one evening to try the social dining platter with some friends. Hopefully service & meals are better during the evening buzz.

Dr blue burger 🍔 was delicious 😋 I loved it with a beer 🍺😄 The service was a little bit slow, they only had one waiter and it was a busy day. But the place was neat and welcoming. 🥰The vibe is so good, nice music and lovely live view outside the window.💃💃

I was reluctant to give Obz Cafe a review. Firstly we had a booking scheduled at 9:30am, but the store only opened at 10am. I was on the verge of rescheduling but decided to stick it out an extra 10min. Once we were seated it didn't take long for our breakfast and coffee to come. The meal and coffee was really nice especially the mushrooms and Sasuage. In the end it was worth the wait. The waiter came up to us before we left and apologized for the inconvenience and the long wait. It was their fault but I didn't appreciate that someone took ownership. The staff are polite and happy. I will defs be going back in the future.

Absolutely love going to Obs Cafe. The siting placements thry have accommodates everyone. I had their wings with fries and onion rings and thry really went well with my beer. They also have different beers on tap and that's always a plus for me, most restaurants in Cape Town want to say their own brewed beer on tap and don't want customers to have options. Some of us are already set on the beers we want to drink. Definitely a place to go to for other meals as well like burgers.

It's a lovely vibe place especially during the week. I ordered a pizza and it was delicious. We had to ask the waitress for attention because she would just disappear and we wanted to order more. But I would definitely come back again.

We had the deluxe breakfast and coffee. We weren’t asked how we want our eggs and they arrived over done and flat as pancakes. Not asked whether we wanted white or brown toast. Got brown. The baked beans were cold. Beggars and hawkers around us while we ate. On the positive side the location is vibrant and colourful and the food had the potential to be great value for money if it had been done right.

I don’t have enough horrible things to say about this. If you’re thinking of going, save your time and your money. We waited over an hour for a simple order of chips, the burgers we had were not great and the pizza was burnt to a crisp! Go to literally any other restaurant in the vicinity to have better service and quality of food

I visited Christmas day. Our waiter was professional, but felt a bit cold. She gave us no introductions, so no idea what her name was. I ordered the egg and bacon burger, the size was good, but the burger patty was completely tasteless. No seasoning or flavor at all. My partner had the pork ribs which were cold, and way too sweet. The fries were really good though. Service was rather dissapointing, long waits in-between asking for waters and sauces. Food would probably be a 5/10.

I was in the neighbourhood and wanted a coffee milkshake. It was not on the menu but the staff obliged and made one. Shew, one the best coffee milkshakes ever had. Try it and also ask for it to be put on the menu. Vote for the coffee milkshake @ Obz Cafe

Great atmosphere, happy hour in the afternoon, I had a margarita pizza and it was delicious! Cocktails are amazing, they taste even better when it's happy hour :) and 5/5 for service. Bathroom facilities are also very clean and neat

Friendly service. The decor is nice but the bathroom was basic. Two of us bought the pizza pasta wikideal which was lovely. Others bought the Gourmet burger but there was nothing gourmet about the burger and the chips were brown like they were fried in old oil. Also when my friend had asked for a takeaway box as she didn't finish her meal, she was told that she had to pay R15 for a takeaway box because the wikideal wasn't for takeaways. This makes no sense as my friend ate at her meal at the restaurant and just wanted to take what was left over home

If I could give 10 stars I would! Di Pollo Pizza is hands down the tastiest pizza I've had in a while and what was even more amazing was that this delicious pizza was on a 'Buy 1 Get 1 Free' special! Unbelievably tasty! Good job guys! 🙌

I ordered a Margherita pizza and requested extra cheese. This was not available as an option. I was advised by my waiter that the this would not be necessary - that there was plenty of cheese on their margherita's. I gave her benefit of the doubt. The layer was less than wafer thin. It really was a dismal offering, an excuse for a pizza. I did not enjoy it at all. A classic example of giving the bare minimum. I ordered an Americano with it. It was very good but not as hot as it could be. When I saw it cost R30, I felt a little bit ripped off. Sorry, not sorry. The food is mediocre at best. There is nothing special about this place. It does not deserve its 5 star ratings. The service was not that great either, and the music was irritating. I won't go there again.

One of the most amazing spots to hang out in while in Observatory. Great food, attentive waiter (Lincoln) and great music. Prices are reasonable.

Food was good but took far to long to arrive and it wasn't busy. Double brandy and coke very expensive and the 200ml coke was R30.00. That's just left me feeling ripped off. Asked for extra bread for the chicken liver peri peri and got charged R25 for 3 small slices...Come on guys...
