Absolutely delicious food, friendly staff and professional manager

Initially had a not so good experience but they fixed my order their service is amazing I highly recommend them.

I have been to many Nanos's branches in the past few years in SA. However this particular branch dose stand out with staff friendliness. Besides the obvious team work among them, its clear such a vibe dose impact the overall performance and of course the delicious food quality with happy customers like myself who always returns back to enjoy their food. The only thing I would suggest is to have more stock available of their cheese cake, which it happens to be "out of stock" or "sold out" on a few occasions.

The best 1/2 chicken I have eaten so far in the past 2 years in Cape Town. The service is great, too. And hot means hot here, order slaw as a side to cool the mouth down a bit :) they have also different levels of spiciness, so don't worry. I had a delicious lunch here today and will come back soon. Outstanding Nando's.

Feels like this nandos food is just different. We tried the pita pocket and it was juicey and lovely. The service was quick. It's clean and just a lekka chilled vibe. Loved it and can't wait to visit again

Waited really long for our food. The people that ordered right infront of us got there food ate it and left and we were still waiting. And we were the only 2 customers in store. Plus the food I got was HORRIBLE! I could literally not cut through the pita, it was so hard and dried out. I also ordered one of their signature milkshake and the cream was OLD. It literally crumbled. It's not can cream its like home whipped cream and if it stands to long it turns dry and crumbly on old cake. That's what I got. And their milkshakes or even food isn't cheap. REALLY SHOCKING STANDARDS!

So so disappointed. We ordered a full chicken which when it arrived was a fraction of the size at a exorbitant price. To their credit they exchanged it for another who h was equally tiny and the usual Nandos flovoursome chicken was not onky absent but we felt cheated in that the store still expects us to pay full amount for an "anorexic" looking chicken. We are not ones to complain but when yiur chicken piecv is as small as the salt n pepper shaker it's not a pleasure to have parted with one's money. If Nandos wants us to eat such minicule chickens then they better be prepared to provide us with better pricing options or at least warn us that the chicken is smaller than usual. I lodged a complaint and there call center did call. Me about 2 or 3 days later and said the store will contact me.. When the store contacts me the call center gave them the wrong store details and to date noone else from Nandos has bothered to CALL me back. So so disappointing!!!

Clean Store Friendly Staff The Meal . . . PERFECT as always

This use to be the spot to meet with family who had come from other provinces. So embarassed to have brought my uncle here on 28/11/2022. Service was terrible waiters and people at the till were rude and impolite and had attitude. (There was one waiter which was nice and friendly among them. I should have taken her name). We waited so long for after a request was made, even though the resturant was empty. So long we waited for water! At least the food was good. Malva pudding was tasty but only the bowl was hot middle of the pudding was COLD.

I ordered via UE a pita with pulled chicken. Lydia the pita bread is old and stale, and the 100 grams of chicken is not visible. I had to put it in the George Foreman to be able to eat my worth of R70. Nandos Gardens you can do better then this.

I haven't been to Nando's in years and i had a craving so i thought I'd go. This particular Nando's leaves much to be desired. The chicken burger i had was tiny (and I'm not a big guy). The chips were old and a little cardboardy. I've eaten there years ago, and i recall a similar experience. For such a prime location, you would think Nando's might try to ensure that branch is a good representation of the brand. It really, really isn't.

Been eating Nandos as long as I can remember, because it's almost always good but seriously...my Quarter Chicken meal last night was really something else, and especially delicious! Flamed grilled to perfection, with fresh fried chips and livers to die for👌 And no, I was not stoned.

Pleasant cashier Sibokazi, but my prego portion was small & quite dry with hardly any onions, unlike the advert. My wife's one was perfect. Chips were were just right

We placed an order through Uber Eats at around 7:20pm. The ETA was 8pm / 8:25pm max. Our delivery man was there before 8pm and waited for at least 30 minutes before giving up. A new one was assigned and same story again. At around 9pm the restaurant cancelled our order without giving any information. At that time many restaurants in the area stopped delivering so we had to quickly change plans. Also I feel bad for the delivery guys who lost their time waiting there.

Just terrible. Ordered the 1/2 chicken, mild with a drink. Buyi charged me R7 extra for the drink and then gave me a hot half chicken. Then I went back again another time, sit down with friends, this time ordering 1/2 a chicken, again asking for mild. They gave me hot again. I asked them to change it, so they took my chicken to the back, washed it with water and applied the mild sauce. Complete disregard for what I actually ordered.

Everytime I've placed a take away delivery, I've waited roughly 2 hours or more, even though the sms I recieve says it will take an hour. The delivery system also adds a charge on each item as well as a delivery fee. Edit: don't bother phoning the call centre. They just hang up on you

Nandos chicken burger meal was so disappointing it made me laugh, because, it was not a Portuguese roll, it was a burger bun from Spar and then my Nandos salad was missing the feta cheese!! It was more like a Nandos burger made by Chakalaka Norris, who just doesnt care.

Nando's food is delicious and always has been but their prices are extremely high. They lose 1 star for that

Very unhygienic, unwelcoming staff, untidy and very dirty. Food smells old. Food served in a pool of sauce. Very unfortunate and definitely not a place to spend your money at. Rather go to KFC, McDonald's or spur.

I was order 289 this evening. All I wanted was a cheeseburger meal hot, and well done. It cost me R106.00. The one side of the fillet was burnt, dry and hard. The other side was no char. Looks like they forgot about it on the grill. Couldn't chew it couldn't eat it. The chips and colddrink was all I ate for R106.00.

Absolutely love it. Clean and comfortable, good customer service and great food. Has nice clean toilets and it has a lovely atmosphere. We drive 10 km just to go eat there. I'm fussy on where I eat and what I eat and Nandos Gardens has not disappointed me ever. Well done.

The food was awesome. Nando's keep their menu exciting. I had a bowl which was very satisfying and has me dreaming about my next meal at Nando's. Great food on the go.

Total bunch of buffoons. Placed an order on Uber eats at 18:50. Driver arrived at 19:10. He waited for 10 minutes and then I called them to check what was happening. Was assured that my food would be done in the next 5 minutes. Waited 10 more minutes then called them. Once again assured it was coming out of the kitchen. At 20:00 - when all restaurants have to close due to lockdown they cancelled my order leaving me hungry for the night with nowhere else to get food. What a bunch of morons

Had a wrap and spicy fries, didn't really enjoy it. I was told the chicken had a 1 hour waiting period.

One of the best Nandos around. The food is always great and top quality and is served quickly. The staff are friendly and attentive.

Food was tasty for sure. Only problem was the avo served in the boujie bowl was hard. Felt like chewing an apple and didn't taste very good.

Very unaccommodating staff with no interest of helping the customer - problem with system that can't load vouchers nor does the staff have any interest in figuring out why and simply shrugged their shoulders. Been a regular place to go and rather enjoyed the food but won't return again after awful experience.

The food was great, went there with a large group of my family (10 of us). I ordered more food, but it did not come and I had to find out where it was and it had just been standing. The tables and bathroom were also not clean (the bathroom especially). I love Nandos but they need to work on there sitting area being more clean and there service.

Ordered via the app. The driver delivered to the wrong people and we never got our order. Alerted Nandos to try resolve the issue and get a refund. We kept being referred to the restaurant - we had to contact them and follow up every time. No proactive measures from their side. They told us the manager is on leave so we can’t get refunded till he’s back…. We waited weeks till he returned and called, only to have the validity of our complaint questioned as the driver insisted he delivered it to us (but obviously he didn’t or we wouldn’t be spending weeks dealing with ATROCIOUS customer service). Two months later and nothing to show for it. Nandos refuses to take responsibility. They don’t care about customer satisfaction clearly. Pretty shocking

Love the Gardens Nando's team, they are extremely organised and such and amazing help when booking lunches for my teams on set. No complaints! Customer service is amazing as well.

If only the Nando’s in the United Kingdom tasted as great as in South Africa! The food was fresh, flavoursome and succulent. Amazing tasting and very high quality.

Lydia was very helpful and quick to respond to a missing item ordered via Uber eats, she quickly prepared the missing item and had it delivered to my door via private driver. Excellent service and communication. Thank you Lydia!

Another dismal performance by the Nandos Team. When I phoned to enquire after my order was 30 minutes late, I was informed that "bad reception" was the cause of my order not being processed. Whatever the hell that means. Lydia did bare minimum to try remedy the situation. Unfortunately an all to common theme amongst Nandos at the moment.

Operating hours on the entrance door states it closes 22h00 on a Thursday . Arrived at 21h37 and was told by staff behind the till that they are closed and only open until 22h00 on weekends. They wouldn't even take my takeaway order. Was sent packing. Poor show

HI haven't been to Nandi Kloof street in ages, I must say the new management has made all the difference in Service Levels, the franchisee Mr Allie Rawoot very friendly and checked up on us at start and on finishing our meal. The Food superb and Stellar service which I haven't experienced in a Nandos in many a year.

Our order was placed at 20:05 it arrived 21:35. My burger was in a packet. Since when do we put a double chicken burger into a little PACKET that was partially torn. How did a burger leave the kitchen in a packet? I requested for extra hot and received lemon and herb. We requested for extra sauce and received none. Never in my life have I ever been this disgusted with such poor standards! Where was the management team in the midst of this? How poorly is this place run in order for a burger to leave the store in a CHIP PACKET. The entire burger was completely soaked in sauce and soggy due to it being forced into a packet. What is up with this Nandos? Irrespective of how busy or pressured a store may become , if a customer has paid for a service, you deliver! Our hard earned moneys deserves far better than poor service delivery!
