We had an amazing time in Cape Town using the City Pass Cape Town. We purchased the one-day pass as it would let us do everything we wanted for the day. We started off in the morning by catching the Hop-on Hop-off bus up to Table Mountain to do the incredible Aerial Cableway. One piece of advice for this is to get the first bus and get up to the Aerial Cableway early. We were there just after 9 am and it was already busy, but by the time we returned back down at 11:30 am, the queue was three times the size! We then returned back to Cape Town with the Hop-on Hop-off bus via Camps Bay and then spent the day doing various attractions in the V&A Waterfront. The Two Oceans Aquarium, Pienaar & Son Distilling Co. Gin Tasting, Sky-HI Ride and Zeitz MOCAA - Museum of Contemporary Art were all highlights of our day and all included within the pass. We finished the day with a sunset cruise around Cape Town with Waterfront Charters, which was absolutely stunning and a highlight of our trip to South Africa. You’ve got to pre-book it in advance, but it is certainly worth it, as the experience was magical. Overall, we had an amazing day exploring the best of Cape Town with the City Pass Cape Town, and I would highly recommend purchasing one if you’re planning to see some of the bit sights the city has to offer.

From the first smile and friendly voice, to the information filled tour, to the awe inspiring trip up the Table mountain after a jaw dropping drive up a hill that looks like a parking lot. Nothing is ever delayed though and that is where the true power of The City Pass is. Hop on, hop off, conveniently, comfortably and safely.

Great value for money. I would definitely recommend the 2 or 3 day pass that includes the HOHO. The only thing is you will have to seize the early part of the day and keep on till the last bus. Saves money and time. Good email communications too. The bat code provided by email works well.

If you go to Cape Town for the first time you must 100% buy the 5 day unlimited citi pass. My wife and I did it, if we had gone to these attractions and activities without the citi pass, it would have costed us an extra R4000.

Although the city passes give you great value for money, understanding and trying to book trips through the website is awful. You cannot just book, you have to email each company and explain that you have a city pass to use. On top of this, the staff in the sightseeing office on the Waterfront didn't seem to care about the questions I asked. They seemed fed up couldn't be bothered. The only good employees were Fred who was our guide on the Excellent Cape Point Tour and his colleague on the bus who went round checking we were all ok. Both of these guys were funny and made the trip enjoyable. There needs to be better connection between the sightseeing website and the trip companies and a way to book with the city passes directly.

I went here on my birthday a few days ago. It was nice but the bus was very over crowded and not on time as it should be. The customer service from the staff also was not the friendliest.

Specially offers in Hout Bay can't be consumed. Pure chaos around the bus stop. Nobody to assist at all. Purchased a five days pass but due to the fact that parts of the offers are not accessible to a foreigner (if you don't know your way around), it's a waste of time and money. Don't come that direction.

Think twice before you buy! They promise you reductions up to 40% on the normal price, but this is only if you do their commercial tours (wine, township, Cape Hope). We did the normal sites (aquarium, wheel, Kirstenbosch, cable way, Zeitz musuem) and ended up only 20R on reductions... Because of wind, we couldn't do the Touble Mountain Cable Way, so eventually we ended up with paying more for the attractions! Other disadvantages: We were told the hop-on hop-off bus was included in the ticket, but apparently it is one of the 5 attractions on your ticket... The hop-on hop-off bus is valid for 3 consecutive days, so doing the Cable Way on day 4 leaves you with buying your ticket for the cable on a bus you are no longer allowed to take...

Avoid this scam at all costs!!! Their money back guarantee is all lies. After connecting with customer service several times, and trying to figure out exactly how it works, I was able to piece it together. Firstly, I requested a refund and they refused to refund me. Even though their website says 100% money back guarantee. So basically you buy an overpriced access pass that is supposed to get you into certain activities. They make you download an app and all the activities are just discounts of 10% or less....or they don't even have a discount. They only advertise for the activities. You basically have to spend more money to save on something. Long story short save your money and go enjoy Cape Town on your own. Trust me, it's not worth a penny! Oh and the hop-on hop-off bus ride they give you access too doesn't include the biggest most popular activities. Stay away!

(Translated by Google) Pass 2 days cheap premium (equivalent to 20 euros per person) to take the line blue and red in particular, and reduced entries in many places whose aquarium not to be missed under any circumstances. The stops are located near all tourist sites and stop number 5 is in the center. Hyper practice. 5 stars for the blue line that runs along part of the coast with breathtaking scenery. Bus drivers are cautious and friendly.

Make sure that you have copy of your bus receipt otherwise they won't let you in and won't print another one for you

Great deal just plan ahead. The Seal watching cruises mainly run in the mornings but some allow you to reserve a seat.

Great value for money, but some of the places mentioned in the attraction list add their own terms to score an extra buck. Supposed to get a free Mojito at hard rock cafe in hout bay, but then they insisted that its only valid with the purchase of a meal, even though there are no such terms to be found on the i-venture website or booklet. It is also not always 100% clear what your benefit at some places include.

We booked to go on the harbor Red boat tour, the ticket office was very friendly and great to deal with. this how ever is where the nice part ends, the Lady helping the passenger's at the docks was extremely rude and condescending. so much so that we returned to the ticket office to get refunded for the tickets. The manager on duty said that she will have a chat to the lady and phone me the next day. this never happened. I will never recommend your services or use your services again.
