Passing through, let's go through it, yintlutha, thank you HSRC, I had to see to it. As days go by Easter Weekend, Family Day (Monday) in South Africa, world 4/20 day, Workers Day (holiday in South Africa), Freedom Day in South Africa and all in one month and about a week or 2. Spending time at your hotel for work was cool. By: Sivuyile Sviggy Sesi #InternativeDigital @756Writing

Nice location can not complain, my stay has been pleasant, but taking nothing away please supervise your waiters at your Zepi restuarant, they are all over the show, the service has not been up to scratch please look into this...😎

I'm here with my family, we are checking out today. My children enjoyed it so much, we can still use the pool after check out. There's a dining restaurant and a bar, their service is top tier, food is delicious, the background music is calming. The rooms are clean with a beatiful view, there's both a shower and a bath, and the water is always hotπŸ‘ŒπŸΏ the tv plays most DSTV and sports channels. The parking is safe.

The hotel is ok...mixed bag of staff in terms of friendliness and being hospitable. Hotel values still need to be instilled among another staff members. Otherwise the place is very clean. The common areas are nicely designed for some lounging experience.

Very impressive place to lodge in. I loved their service, courteousness and attitude. The building is located quite at the city center and easily identifiable. Their food was good too. I used their gym service, was nice - but wondered why they didn’t have a threadmill. They had dumb bells and a few other facilities though. Good attention was paid to clean the pool too. Had a good spread of guests too. Generally I’ll still like to stay their again and refer others.

It was an absolute pleasure visiting and staying over. Staff went over and beyond on a minute notice to make my hubby's birthday morning special with a lovely plated dessert and having every come along to sing, made it very special. Thank you so much. They are also very interactive with the kids and keep them feeling special. I was a bit disappointed with the water heat in my room but all that was forgotten with the amazing service from the staff...

If you are looking for home away from home, A hide out away from the city in the City this is it. Ample dining space with the personal kitchen view, and a poolside area that you can host any event.

We enjoyed the area. We took a nice walk to kloof Street to have a bite. The breakfast was amazing. The staff were so friendly, every single one of them. The hotel itself looks better in pictures, but not too bad either.

This hotel is located in a nice location with great views of the Table Mountain when you choose the rooms facing the mountain. It's easy even to walk to city centre within few minutes. It's not that attractive from the entrance as it's in the parking. Privacy isn't good as the lifts are facing the reception. Once you're inside, the service is excellent and the reception area is good. Although the rooms are small due to its price range, but the set-up is very good. They have big TVs, bar fridge, coffee making essentials, hairdryer. The rooms are serviced daily. Bath and shower available. Their restaurant is located on the ground floor and it's excellent, with an option to sit inside or outside. They serve A la Carte menu when it's not full, that menu is a bit pricey - it's a hotel after all. Their buffet is excellent. Overall, this is a great budget hotel with exceptional service all throughout. It's worth my visit again. (Nov. 2023)

Friendly and helpful staff I had 3 night with them, their base bed which is made of steel material is bigger than mattress so everytime I get off the bed I hit that base (steel) ended up having green bruises on both legs

They could not provide me with a common appletiser drink or sparkling water. It appears they are still recovering from covid. The hotel is located awkwardly for a hotel. The exit is not clearly indicated and it appears there is only one way to exit.

The customer service is terrible. The service staff all have an attitude towards guests in the hotel. Its like pulling teeth to get proper service. Wait time for dinner: close to two hours. No assistance from front desk or even guest services. They treat their guests like they are doing them a favor. Not like the guest is paying the hotel. No help with luggage, event though the hotel has stairs. I would never stay in that hotel again. Food = sub par, service resonae: wait time 2hrs. Clean room. Room isn't clean.

Our favourite hotel! We've enjoyed several vacations there and hope to return soon. The staff are so friendly and helpful and the location is perfect for all of the main attractions in Cape Town. The breakfast buffet is varied but also includes all the usual favourites. The rooms are spotless with large comfortable beds and nice bathrooms. On our last trip we met a couple from the UK who have stayed here every year for 25 years!

I can honestly say that I have never been this let down by a hotel. I stayed at this hotel every year until I turned 21 in 2017, which is when I stopped. This was a favourite of mine and my late father's that I had to stay this year. The hotel has the same appearance. Apart from removing the shower curtain, the hotel has not undergone any improvements. The refrigerator in the room I was staying in was functional but broken. The absence of cool air from the air conditioner made the space feel stuffy and warm. The fact that the pool has multiple levels should be disclosed. The breakfast was quite simple. When I asked the staff if they could fix the pancake maker because it wasn't working, they stated that only one particular staff member knew how to operate the device. The most frustrating part that occurred to me was being hassled by a hotel guest. We rode in the same elevator, and when we exited on the same floor, he began following me and interrogating me. He inquired about my room number and whether I was alone in it, among other things. He also suggested joining me in my room since he didn't want to spend the night alone. Even after I told him no, he persisted in bothering me until I offered him a fictitious room number. He was moving away in the opposite direction, so I quickly hurried back to my room and shut the door as soon as I felt secure.

Sun Square is centrally located and staff are friendly concerned over guest well being. Very pleasant and extremely helpful. Close to all popular sites and if you are an avid walker you will be able to reach most of the sites on foot. Surrounded by amenities to make your stay hassle free

It was clean and well serviced, their breakfast was OK, got really crowded in the dining area when we were there in December. The pool area is nice. Our family room was good quality.

Absolutely wonderful experience. The breakfast buffet is a real spread for a king. Staff are so polite and friendly and yes you have to make a booking for bfast or lunch but we got squeezed in due to a no show. So we got lucky and asked to sit on the deck outside overlooking the pool and beautiful well kept garden. We kept talking about the serene atmosphere and the crisp air. Really stunning and secluded for privvy time if you'd like that. It's a must. Wifi would be for sleep in guests. We just popped in for a bfast as casualties. Could stay till 12pm. Staff do not hover over you. I'm impressed by them. Not overcrowded either. Parking is safe and close to entrance. Sign in at the door ( I should have mentioned this at the start) wheelchair friendly in all areas. Just give yourself a go at it. The hotel is in a lovely secluded spot too..almost well hidden if you ask me ( but then again, my sense of direction and location sux). Actually!!...its a perfect spot for Valentine's day...I promise!!!

Our stay was excellent. Friendly staff (Siya, Richard, Faye, Shonell) to name a few were.very accomodating. Kids loved the pool. Breakfast was amazing. Thanks for accomodating our family visit. Richard has made a lifelong friend in my son. (Thanks to the hotel staff for finding the cellphone). The lunch at Zeppi was also 5 star. We will definitely be back. We had an excellent stay. Oh and the views were on point.
