Amazing amazing amazing. World class customer service. My husband booked a high tea for us for my birthday and wow nothing is going to come close to comparing. Every staff member was genuinely friendly and welcoming, we were early for our booking however we were not made to feel guilty about it, we were immediately shown to a table and offered something to drink to get us comfortable. The food was out of this world, could not recommend 12A enough!! Will definitely be back! 👏🏻

Enjoyed a week there in May. A nice quiet place out of the hustle and bustle of downtown. Staff was exceptional. The Concierge staff (all three of them) were so helpful dealing with a bag trapped at customs and securing a covid test to exit the country on a Sunday morning after a surprise + result on Saturday evening. The food was excellent. We also enjoyed a spa day. The hotel is a converted house so a cosy but very nice place. Thanks again to all the staff!!

We had an absolutely incredible weekend here. Stunning views, wonderfully attentive staff, delicious food (the vegan sushi is a MUST TRY!), luxury rooms with all kinds of amenities to make our stay even more luxurious, 13km hiking trails into the mountains with ocean views to top it all off. Their Breakfast spread is the best I’ve had! We enjoyed a movie night in their cinema and had a relaxing experience in their spa salted plunge pool. The gin making/tasting experience was also stunning and thanks to Gilford for sharing his knowledge. Overall could not fault them. Keep up the attention to detail x

Such a beautiful venue. The service is beyond phenomenal. Staff looks amazing in their uniforms and you get assistance from the time you step foot in the door. Really amazing service. Love the calm demeanor of the managers at the venue and how calmly they deal with their staff and customers. It really adds to the ambience especially with the beautiful views of the ocean and sunset.

My best friend and I went there for high tea early in the year. We enjoyed it so, that we decided to treat our two daughters. We enjoyed the experience again, but when we wanted to leave they blocked us. Even put a staff member at our table. Apparently they did not pick up our payment. Such an embarrassment. It is a month later and not a word of apology out of them yet. Sent an email and filled in their form afterwards. There are enough other venues for the same high teas. Will not use them again

We had a fantastic dinner at Twelve Apostles, Azure Restaurant. We tried the 5-course tasting menu with wine pairing, and it was amazing. They even let me have mashed potatoes with my Venison Loin instead of the usual mielie meal pap. The wine pairing was perfect. Overall, it was a memorable dining experience that I highly recommend.

This is where me and my wife got married 2 years ago and honestly the most beautiful wedding I could ever be part of. I would certainly go back there just for the exceptional service and experience. The sea facing rooms is awesome even the mountain facing one is beautiful!!! This place is worth 10stars nevermind 5.

Very nice hotel in Camps Bay. Beautiful views from my balcony. The food in the Azure restaurant was delicious. Both breakfast and dinner exceeded my expectations. The hotel is spotless, could use some minor updating but other than that it is a very nice hotel. The rooms came with the standard amenities plus the option for 9 different pillow styles and some customs soaps. Every staff member I encountered were friendly and helpful. The hotel has 2 small but beautiful pools. There is a lovely spa. I didn’t see an ice machine. The ice bucket was full on arrival but never refilled. Maybe that would have been a nice touch. You won’t regret staying here I promise you that, it’s a little oasis !

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel - the location is amazing being just outside of Camps Bay, and the room itself was beautifully appointed. There were however a few things that left us disappointed… There was an intermittent noise coming from the aircon in the room which sounded like a pump of sorts coming on for 10 seconds every couple of minutes. This noise woke us up several times per night. Despite asking staff to do something about it, nothing was done and nobody reached out to us about it. We were disappointed that as guests in the hotel we could not make use of either the restaurant (only the informal family oriented poolside cafe was available), or the indoor bar area because these were both fully booked - largely by outside guests. We were able to use the bar area briefly late on one of the evenings until the patrons arrived to take their reserved spot. It was my wife’s birthday and I wanted to surprise her with a helicopter tour of the peninsula. I arranged this through Cape Town Helicopters, but the hotel rejected our request to use the helipad. When I checked out and asked management about this, I was first told that the hotel had its own preferred supplier, and subsequently this was changed to “it’s too noisy for people using the outdoor spa rooms”. We went hiking instead and could see that these areas were not booked all day long and so felt that the hotel had gone out of the way to reject helicopter access to a supplier they did not profit from more substantially. Overall we experienced good service and we did enjoy our stay so I only took off one star for my rating.

Spent 2 nights in this hotel on my trip in SA. What a great hotel it is. It’s a little bit outside of camps bay but it makes it more private and we loved it. It’s like the coast is for hotel guests only. There is nothing around except beautiful rooms and hotel amenities. The service is top notch-all employees seem to be very involved and they make the best they can for You to enjoy your stay. I really recommend Azure Restaurant and Leopard bar on the top floor. The views are unbeatable. Camps Bay / Clifton reachable within few minutes. Same with waterfront. I loved the design of this hotel and unique vibe.

My partner proposed to me at 12A. The service we received was top notch 👌 . The food was delicious and the place is breath taking. The staff was kind but Special mention to Godwin who took care of us while we were there. I would definitely recommend it.

Price performance on Apostel 12 is perfect. The hotel is old but well taken care of. The staff smiles a lot. The food is extra good. I am from Sweden and will definitely stay there next time I go to Cape Town.

The best massage of my life. Going to have to add this to my monthly budget, I’m hooked! We got there early so decided to have a drink, the leopard bar was full, so they seated us in the conservatory which was quieter, private with some epic views. Team were super attentive and friendly. Best stormy Saturday

We checked in for a night for our 10 year wedding anniversary only to be told there wasn’t room for us to have dinner at the restaurant (no-one asked if we wanted to book when making the booking weeks earlier). We were told we could eat at the cafe but when we went for supper it was being used for a private function… So we went up to the bar and had to order off a very limited menu. The bar staff were very slow (aside from the two suited gentlemen who couldn’t seem to cope with the number of guests) and we waited and waited to order a drink, food etc. The next morning we went for a spa treatment and when we wanted to use the pool, we were again told it was fully booked! Again, we weren’t asked if we wanted to book it when we made the booking. Long story short: it’s a great space and a lovely position but we certainly didn’t feel like we had 5-star treatment and if the restaurant and pool area book out and guests can’t have access, the least they could do is let us know we need to book when making the hotel reservation. We were terribly disappointed

I was invited to celebrate my beautiful friend’s birthday at 12A on Sunday, 1 October. We thoroughly enjoyed our phenomenal treatments in the tranquil spa & rock pools, followed by a delectable lunch at the Azure Restaurant overlooking the stunning Atlantic with the 12 Apostles Range as a backdrop…such an exquisite setting. The Spa & Restaurant staff were absolutely professional, smart, friendly & the customer service delivery was second to none! We were treated like royalty! Well done to all at 12A…we will most definitely back!

We had our wedding here at the 12 Apostles Hotel in Camps Bay in November 2023 and we'll never regret a single thing. The 12 A wedding team, Sally and Danielle, were BEYOND THE BEST at meeting all our needs and executing every requested detail. Not once did they hesitate at any request, and they anticipated many things in advance. They have such experienced professionalism, friendliness, punctuality, and care for their clients. We are extremely satisfied and overflow with joy regarding the choice of venue and the amazing staff at hand. But mostly, thank you so much, Sally and Danielle; you truly are amazing beyond words. We'll see you for our complimentary dinner on our one-year anniversary. We are just eager to come back!

Wow!!! This hotel is magical. The staff, the atmosphere, the food. Upon our arrival we were welcomed by the amazing staff. We quickly were brought to our room which was ocean facing and the views were absolutely stunning. Our room was beautiful, clean and spacious. We were offered a pillow and soap menu. The staff left no detail untouched. Each evening we would have chocolates with our turn down service. We asked the concierge about cycling in South Africa and he went so far as having a gift waiting for us upon our return - exactly what we had hoped for - South Africa cycling gear. It’s not about the material items but rather the staff and the feeling you get visiting this beautiful hotel and country. The staff at the hotel are lovely and proud - and it shows. We enjoyed multiple meals at Azure and were delighted each time. This is a beautiful place to stay - you will not be disappointed!!

I have traveled a lot of places and stayed at many quality hotels in my life. Rarely do I feel the need to write a review, but absolutely felt the need to here. The attention to detail and service provided at Twelve Apostles was some of it not the best I’ve ever encountered. Their team was incredibly friendly in all phases, the property and surrounding area spectacular and amenities were great. If you’re trying to figure out where to stay in Cape Town area, look no further. Special shout-out to Zolani and Sarah at Azure, amazing service and great to meet.

That was not up to my expectations.. I love to have my G&T on the terrace but when the service is not there, the best view can not cover for it.. sad. First the waiter brings you only one straw. For a G&T.. I asked another waiter. Still nothing happens. I have to get up (on crutches) to ask the manager to bring me a straw while the drinks getting warm.. So no point in ordering any food in this location.

Very shmancy place. Awesome sunset views. On arrival we informed the security we were there for a birthday dinner and that there was a booking at the bar/restaurant. He tried to turn us away saying that they were at capacity, but we insisted as we were meeting friends. When we went inside it was pretty empty though 🤔 guess we'll never know what that was about. Food and service were otherwise very good, and the view is stunning.

Their bathroom is thee most interesting feature about the hotel. The hotel is clean and beautiful. I love that they had a few artistically designed mini water falls inside the hotel. The service was swift and great. We had such a lovely time. Oh and no smoking on balconies, only outside the premise. Would definitely visit again.

Beautiful location. Attention to detail is lacking.. dirty plates and glasses lying around and not cleared . The hotel looks tired. Staff need to pay a little more attention to asking customers if they want more beverages..charging R46 for a bottle of water and only getting two glasses is a rip off. Not 5 star quality I'm afraid.. but has great potential to be fantastic

We had the best stay at 12 apostles! We we’re not intending to go to capetown but had to go because of flight issues and our only complaint is we didn’t get more time here. Excellent sushi and cocktails, amazing views and the staff were all so lovely and accommodating. We want to come back just to visit this property again. The breakfast spread was unreal and such amazing ocean views. We didn’t get to enjoy the pool but it was beautiful to look at. Our drivers to the airport were great — the check in staff was as well. They helped us with everything including exchanging currency. Could not say enough great things. Thank you all!

The 12 Apostles High Tea was my most memorable to date because of the balance of flavours as well as the execution of the canapés. None of the savouries were dry, none of the desserts were too sweet. The added cheese plate made my day. On top of it all they offered a high tea experience that was completely gluten free. Compliments to the chef, because the food and the tea was exceptional. A mixture of gluten free sandwiches (may I add the salmon was fresh), puddings and cakes were delightful and dainty (all gluten free), I found the quality of the food surpassed my expectations. Oh yes the champagne was delicious and the 12 apostles tea was tasteful and fragrant.

Was recently here briefly to visit my aunt who was staying there for business. The staff are incredible, very professional and friendly. The space itself is immaculate, and much bigger than it looks from outside. There is a parking garage in front of the hotel for guests with cars, and they even have a helicopter pad for people flying in. I can imagine going here for a relaxing holiday must be such a wonderful experience. The gardens around the hotel are beautifully kept, and you are constantly surrounded by ocean and mountain views wherever you go.

I had my birthday breakfast here. The service, attention to detail, the food was impeccable. The waitress who served us was just incredible, Polite, didn't bug you, refreshed our drinks at the right moment. She definitely deserves a raise. Her name was Amy-lee. Will definitely recommend everyone to give this place a visit. Cause WOW!
