We had a lovely time in Camps Bay. The location was perfect and walking distance to the beach and restaurants. Our room was small but the details were awesome! From the heated floor to the amazing rain shower head, the beautiful breakfast and view each morning, just stunning. I highly recommend this boutique hotel!

We have just checked out of Pod Hotel Camps Bay having stayed for 10 nights and are honestly feeling quite sad to leave. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, the staff are so welcoming, friendly and extremely attentive. They really go out of their way to make your stay perfect. They are always on hand whether it’s to give you the weather forecast for the day, make a reservation for you, recommend somewhere to visit or a restaurant to eat at or to provide you with everything you need for a trip to the beach, they always go the extra mile. It feels like we are part of their family. The hotel itself is lovely, spotlessly clean, chic and extremely comfortable and close to everything you need but far enough away from any disturbing noise. I cannot recommend this hotel enough!

This is one of the very best hotels you can ever stay at in the world. I recently stayed for 7 nights and I have never seen a team constantly deliver an incredible customer experience that reflects their brand as this. Every time you pass through reception or call down they are on hand and deliver nothing but an impeccable customer experience. The service: this is what sets this hotel apart. The staff whether the front desk, bar, room service or night staff are on hand whenever you need them, they are funny, always smiling, yet the service is fast. They are relentless and the nothing is too much trouble. The rooms: impeccable. The room is well equipped and the mini bar is complimentary and topped up daily. Perfect to come back and have a glass of a local beer or wine looking up at the 12 apostles or the ocean. The bed, shower and bath are spotless and the sound of the ocean at night is awesome. Turn down service included fresh water, hot water bottles and fresh towels. Room service: all complimentary, breakfast, teas and coffee from the bar, movie nights, popcorn, Uber eats, what ever you want it’s there. Breakfasts: stunning. Make sure you order juice of the day. Stunning. We have breakfast in our room and enjoyed the view everyday. The terrace: while sunbathing suncream, hats, towels and water are on tap. I’d recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a premium service. I assure you that you will leave feeling very looked after and you get more than you payed for in terms of experience, room quality and service. Thank you so much for a delightful experience. Stayed at the Pod during the Argus Bicycle race. Was the perfect location. Service was excellent and the breakfast was superb. The fresh cut up fruit for breakfasts and pamcakes were to die for. Best fried eggs Ive ever had accompanied by freshly cut chillies. It was expensive but worth every cent. All alcohol was on the house

Do not hestitate giving the 5 stars to this boutique Hotel. Almost everything met our expectations and made our first night in Cape Town pleasant and comfortable. My wife and I have been fortunate to stay at a number of boutique hotels over recent years - their more intimate, private and attentive nature really appeal compared to the bigger and busier hotels. That said, none of the previous boutique hotels we have stayed at have come close to the level of quality and service we have received at POD Camps Bay. Sean, Michaela, Brian and all the team have gone above and beyond to make our stay truly special - from proactively offering to lend us a SatNav for our car journeys to packing us off with water and snacks for our hike, from parking our car for us to putting on breakfast when we arrived late from the airport at midday, and even bringing complimentary popcorn, sweets and hot chocolate to our room for movie night when we were a little jet lagged on our first evening. Every single staff member showcases the same exceptional level of friendliness and attentiveness; they genuinely seem to be happy to help and ensure we have a great stay. On top of that, the hotel itself is beautiful - the location is perfect for accessing Camps Bay, the rooms are modern and clean, the pool is beautiful and the food at breakfast is delicious. We feel incredibly fortunate to stay here and we will be recommending this boutique hotel to all our friends and family visiting South Africa. Thank you all so much, we appreciate you!

My stay at POD Camps Bay was incredibly special. From the moment I walked into the very last moment when I checked out, the staff was so thoughtful, warm, kind and made this solo female traveler feel safe and right at home. The property is absolutely gorgeous, clean and located in the perfect spot, steps away from the action but not too close where you're inundating by the noise of the strip. It's super peaceful and calming. The minimal, modern design is gorgeous and the sundowners by the pool at sunset was my favorite. I still cannot get over how wonderful the staff was. They went above and beyond for every guest. The property pay a lot of attention to detail, which I also appreciated. I highly recommend this stay, especially for honeymooners (the rooms are very intimate) and/or solo travelers. Thank you for an amazing stay!

Stayed there for 2 nights. Service was great, from the front desk to the waiters. The only issue I have is that the shower is not an enclosed environment. As it was approaching winter, it was be rather chilling when u r out of the hot shower.

Wonderful location on Camps Bay and gorgeous views from front room balconies. What made it special was the staff. Very friendly and helpful with recommendations for nearby restaurants and wine country. We had a very early departure and the security guard made us lattes to go.

This hotel is spectacular. Unbelievable location, views, and rooms but by far the best thing about the hotel is the staff. One of our most memorable stays from anywhere we have been in the world and the staff is a huge reason why. Breakfast and coffee each morning on our spacious deck with incredible mountain and beach views was a great way to start the day. We stayed in a deluxe suite and it was top notch

The POD camps bay was an amazing experiences. They are bike friendly and people are so nice! They are always there to help and recommand activities to do while being in Cape Town. I would recommand the POD to anyone that wants a good time with an amazing staff! Cheers! Marc-Antoine

The location is great – just 2 min from the beach. The staff is super friendly and the hotel offers a checkout lounge you can use when having a late flight (TV, bathroom with shower etc.).

My wife & I spent the last 4 nights of our South Africa holiday in Camps Bay at Pod Hotel & what a great decision it was. The hotel is in a great location just 2 minutes walk to the beach, bars & restaurants but far enough away to be very quiet. The room was excellent with a well stocked mini bar replenished daily & the staff were outstanding , amongst the best we have experienced at any property. I recommend walking 15 minutes to Clifton beach which is fabulous. Thanks for a great end to our holiday.

Perfect location, lovely rooms, and excellent service. Couldn't be happier with our 5-night stay. It should be noted that there's no restaurant/room service on property outside of breakfast but restaurants are steps away and the hotel is helpful in coordinating delivery. Location, staff and facilities are amazing, but the design of their bathrooms are strange and not practical. Basically, you are a shower in the middle of the room! No doors nor curtains!

I wish there was an option for five stars. This was the best hotel I've ever had the pleasure to stay. The location is perfect. You have a beautiful view of Table Mountain and the beach. The beach is a minutes walk away and is simply gorgeous. Now to the best part of POD:. Service, service, service! I cannot say enough good things about the staff. Everytime you walk past the reception desk they are there offering you water, asking how your day is going, offering assistance with restaurants and how best to get around in Cape Town and basically anything you need. We were getting on a cruise ship in the afternoon and they allowed us to stay in our room hours past check out time. So instead of having to lug our bags around until time to get on the cruise we relaxed in our room! After the cruise we had a late flight back to the States. We had to get off ship early that morning so we had hours to kill. Wesley totally took charge and arranged a private driver to pick us up from cruise terminal and take us to the wine region for wine tasting. That's just one of many examples POD staff goes above and beyond to make your stay perfection. I hope to return to South Africa and there's no question I will stay there again!

Best hotel experience so far and everything looked very neat

I considered myself a seasoned traveler and I can honestly say no hotel has every surpassed the EXCELLENT service received here. Interestingly enough it was not my first choice and i consider myself very lucky u did not get my first choice. Traveling from America many people warned my about safety in South Africa and I can say I feel so happy and safe here. The staff was very attentive, the breakfast was great and anything you need they get it for you right away. From booking trips, to running to the store staying here felt like staying with a close friend at a luxury hotel. We were in full vacation mode and always running late and today Stephen transported us himself to the Robin island pick up. My favorite part is walking out f the room and being just a few steps from the lobby. It was still quiet and relaxing despite the close proximity. i did feel my room was a bit warm but honestly it may just be me, my room mate did not seem bothered. Also it is one block from the beach so great for morning run. I could go on and on but basically if you come to CapeTown this is the place to stay.

I stayed one night at POD Camps Bay and I absolutely had a good time. The people who work there are very friendly and gave me warm welcome. The room is very modern and nicely furnitured. The location is amazing, it takes you 30 seconds to the beach and within 5 minutes walkable distance you will find various restaurants. They only serve breakfast. Was it good, yes, absolutely. I also liked the free drinks provided within the mini bar (incl. a bottle of wine), thanks!

Perfect in just about every way... I would be remiss if I didn't start my review by saying that I have never stayed at a hotel that the staff treated us like family and so incredibly well. They did everything they could to attend to our needs, treat us like king and queen, and make sure we were comfortable. The front desk knew us by name and the other staff (bartender, doorman, etc.) were just outstanding. I would stay here again solely because of the staff. Two examples - it was my birthday during our stay and they surprised me with a cake in the room and also provided a bottle of champagne. Location wise, you are a block from the beach and most of the rooms have at least partial ocean views. The lobby and bar/pool area also have mostly full ocean views. Nearby, you can walk to coffee, bars, banks, and a grocery store. (all within 10 minutes walking). If you want to be in Camp's Bay, the location is basically perfect since you are close to everything, but not in everything. The room we rented was on the first floor with a plunge pool. The shower was great, the toilet was separate, and the room was spacious. The bed was comfy (king size), minibar stocked and included in your stay, had a separate sitting area inside, and then the outdoor patio had two large loungers and a bench with covering where you could lay. The pool was perfect to relax and sip a drink. Was it "small", yes, but it was perfect for two people relaxing. Breakfast is included and made to order. It was quite good. Additionally, they have a wide selection of movies and they will pop you popcorn so you can have a movie and popcorn afternoon or night! (Or morning I guess :) ) Finally, they have a generator so you are not impacted by the occasional rolling blackouts. The only single negative was that the air con was not working during our stay, which was the only negative. They did get us a fan and made the situation right. Because they handled it so well they still get a five star in my eyes. Thank you Pod for a great stay on our honeymoon.

Friendly, helpful staff definitely make for a great stay. I have travelled extensively and was amazed by the attention to detail. We had an issue with hot water in our suite and the management were out first thing the next morning to attend to the issue. A truly luxurious hotel and amazing staff
