What can I say besides outstanding. The service, the comfort, the cleanliness. Everything was 10/10. Greg and Steven were so welcoming and accomodating. We stayed in room 7 for one night, lots of space and a big bed. Wish we'd booked more but so happy with this for our first night in Cape town. We felt safe and relaxed. And the breakfast everyone says about on the reviews...was fabulous. Dave the chef is wonderful, as were all the staff. Villa Rosa is a brilliant location for sea point. 7min walk to the sea. I would highly recommend and would definitely return.

Stayed here on a short break with my elderly parents and we were pleasantly surprised with this hidden gem in the city. The house has that Victorian charm, breakfast is great, rooms are spacious and comfortable and staff is very helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Our room was large and clean, the bathroom was a little outdated. The breakfast buffet was limited, little fresh fruit or vegetables, but there were 2 hot offerings daily which are freshly prepared. Location was good, neighborhood safe, about 10 minutes to the waterfront by car.

A charming, old Victorian style guesthouse with friendly and helpful staff. The rooms unique with their own individual lamps and interior. Try to get a room upstairs since a hippo is rehearsing his scene from Fantasia in the middle of the night once in a while. Breakfast is very relaxed every morning with fresh, self made bread (as we’ve been told) and egg variations. The only negative point is the coffee which turns out to be grey after adding some milk. If you don’t like hotel chains then try this little pearl located in Sea Point. There are cafes, restaurants and a supermarket close by and it’s a nice (longer) walk to the harbor.

What a lovely place - conveniently situated, well-priced, and gorgeous: the garden, breakfast room, bedrooms - even the staircase. The property is stunning yet there’s so much more to enjoy here. The hospitality and food is impressive. Steven is fantastic! He gave me a warm welcome, and explained the history of the house - and I do appreciate details like this. David prepared the most delicious breakfast - basil & mushroom cream, potato rosti and scrambled eggs. 🤤 The only negative was my stay being far too short. I’ll definitely be coming around a lot more!

A very nice location and welcoming team. We were warmly welcomed by the owner (Stephen) and his assistant manager Chelsea. The rooms were large and included fresh water, coffee making equipment and milk in the fridge. Beautiful setting of the villa and well located for getting in and out of the centre. Parking also available. Highly recommended. Ask Stephen for local restaurant recommendations - we had a fantastic experience following his recommendations. Breakfast is generous and tasty. Don’t miss the waffles. The property is safe and equipped to deal with any power cut.

In 1967 I visited my Gran who lived there. The house was owned by her sister in law, Mrs Lettie Basson. It is a beautiful house .

Grand , classy accommodation in a safe neighbourhood . Chelsea was kind and attentive to our needs. Breakfast was sumptuous . An older building does come with hiccups though as all our fuses blew in the early hours when we tried to boil the kettle. It was remedied at 7 am though. I do recommend room 7 as it’s huge with beautiful decor!
