Firstly, the staff and owner are exceptionally helpful and friendly. The view is stunning! The location ia perfect... The Penthouse has its own swimming pool, 2 en suite bathrooms, 2 showers, very beautifully decorated, safe, quiet, clean... I would most certainly go back again!

Caretaker was lovely. Place has old pictures. As house looks like pictures 15 years later. Tired furniture. House needs attention. Stayed with a child, wouldn't recommend

We had the downstairs studio and it was a little dark and humid. The "pool" was very small and very dirty. It was hard to enter with the car in the "garage" as there was very little space. The backyard was in the shadow but a nice table to eat outside. My biggest problem was, and I know they can't do anything as it is Cape Town, but I have panic and in the garden and in front of the windows there were rats in the evening/nights and early mornings. I know it is normal in a big city but they should have told us as we opend the windows without knowing, luckily they didn't get into the apartment. The apartment is not the most modern one but it is okay for 2-3 nights.

4 On High is wonderful place to stay and relax. The setting of each apartment can suit anyone's taste even for your little furry friend as the guesthouse also accomodates for dogs. Cleaning bedding are provided each week. Fast access internet to connect with your loved ones on Zoom or relax and watch films. You have a lovely braai- and pool area to go after long day at the beach as the beach is only down the road from you. I am sure the dog(s) will love a sunset stroll on the Promenade, don't have a dog that's fine good walk will do the soul well. There's nothing like inhaling fresh sea air. The guesthouse is located in the middle of Sea Point right next to the main road to do shopping at PnP, drink a beer at Jerry's or how about eastren food from the Indian cuisine. Whatever it is you'll find that all your needs are met here at 4 On High.

The owner was quick to respond to queries, however the property needs attention. The rooms are damp, the windows do not close properly, wifi works only in hall, no coverage in rooms. No back up to charge atleast phones during the loadshedding hours. Compared to other places we stayed in Cape town, every place had atleast mobile charging available. Not sure if it was the time when we visited that the house was under renovation that we faced such bad experience. Nonetheless, it is not a biased review & would not recommend to fellow travellers. And the owner seems not to be receptive of honest feedbacks.
