We had a great stay on the night of our bachelor and bachelorette, Gift was a great host, all the staff are super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend you book yourself in for the whole week or weekend and enjoy it to the fullest. Summer time I can only imagine they'll be fully booked, so get yours in before it's too late.

Instant five stars, the location is nice and the rooms are luxurious and fitted with so many amenities I love the design of the rooms its very modern and very stylish while also being very clean there is a nice small breakfast buffet in the morning with fresh fruits and pastries and refreshing drinks, I love the design and the tropical atmosphere of the hotel itself, there are two pools each pretty small and clean the rooms are fitted with a minibar and lots of other various amenities the rooms receive a lot of sunlight and are often cleaned. When you first arrive the room is presented as neat tidy modern and stylish

I spent one amazing week in Clarendon and I definitely want to come back soon! You don’t feel „hotel atmosphere”, you can just feel like at your home. Me and me father booked family suites room and the room was large- included en-suite bathroom. We also had entrance from the garden and that was woooow! During my trip I had „home office” and for sure that was pleasure when I had opportunity to working from there. Can I do it every day?😅 Everything what you need is included and if you need something- just one call and five minutes later you will get it. Cakes are amazing!!!! Also one day someone had family party and they (hotel staff) told us „it could be loud, so sorry!”, but it was nice experience to saw it! I really enjoy. Babyyy shark tutududu The suburb is also amazing, everything is pretty close and pretty safe. I was going even at night to eat something in main road. Thank you so much for amazing stay and cant wait to see you guys again!

Stunning! Stunning! Stunning! This place is absolutely wonderful! The bed is as comfortable as ever. The cute little garden court by my room was lovely. The bathroom was spacious and the lighting was good to do my makeup and see what I was doing (which is surprisingly rare!). The pool was lovely. When you eat in the common area you have a lovely view and the music choice is really good too. The staff were phenomenal! They were all helpful and always had an eager smile on their faces. Overall, I recommend!

We loved our stay at this beautiful boutique hotel. The staff are attentive, and kind. What I loved most was that the room was spacious and breakfast is the best by far. The artworks that decorate the hotel are fabulous and add so much color and life. I would definitely return 👍🏾 ⭐️

We are completely thrilled with the Clarendon Fresnaye! We spent the end of our honeymoon in the hotel and felt wonderfully cared for. Although we arrived a little early, we were greeted incredibly warmly by the very charming employee Gift and received some personal tips for Cape Town, excursions and restaurants from him over the welcome drink. Overall, boss Achmed and all his employees are always in a good mood, incredibly helpful and forward-looking. Every morning you are greeted by beaming faces and lovingly looked after - the buffet offers a hand-picked selection of changing dishes, delicious coffee is prepared specifically to your personal taste, egg dishes and more are freshly prepared according to your own wishes. Every wish is met in your eyes. The team also makes special requests possible quickly and easily (e.g. late checkout, extra duvet). The rooms are very nice and clean, the pool area invites you to relax. But what makes Clarendon Fresnaye so unique is simply the magical staff! After just a few days' stay, we had grown so fond of the team that it was really difficult for us to leave. If we come back to Cape Town, our choice will be the hotel again! I highly recommend The Clarendon for any business or vacation traveler. The hotel is situated within walking distance of many boutique stores, cafes, and restaurants in the Sea Point area. The hotel also has a spectacular view of Lions Head mountain and is a short trip to some of Cape Town's best beaches. The rooms were neat, spacious, and contained all the typical amenities (pod coffee machine, SMEG kettle, bar fridge, snacks, etc.). Each room comes with room service and all staff are professional and friendly. The grounds are well maintained, with at least two large swimming pools available for guests to use freely. I've included some pictures (these were taken when I left, so I apologize for the half made beds lol). The rooms were flawless upon our arrival and the beds extremely comfortable! The high price point is worth the experience.

I loved it! My bed was so comfy and I didn’t want to leave in the morning :) the overall interior and art are both elegant and homely. The two pool areas are gorgeous and there are lots of spaces to sit in the shade or sun. The staff were attentive and couldn’t do enough to make me feel welcome. Food and wine were excellent 👌🏼 I’m a very happy customer and can’t wait to return.

Fantastic hotel in a great location and service is faultless. All of the staff give you a personalised and warm experience. Emmy is outstanding. She even went out of her way to buy me a hairbrush as I'd forgotten mine! Breakfast is delicious. Afternoon treats are a delight.

We stayed in room 3 for a week and absolutely loved this hotel! Such an amazing view, beautiful hotel and amazing staff. Would come back any time!

This is one of the best hotels I've ever been to. It has amazing service and the atmosphere/mood is perfect. The staff is incredibly friendly and funny. You make friends easily. People absolutely must go. Mavuto is an breathtaking cook, the same remark goes for the other cooks. Daud or Daoud makes delicious coffees and hot chocolates. The rest of the staff members are super helpful mostly Philip, shadreck and Achmet. The water can be a little cold, but you'll get used to it easily. Last but not least, the comfort and decoration. You'll probably see the decoration in the photos, so I'll talk more about the comfort which is crazy comfy. As I said earlier, definitely the hotel to go to in South Africa 🇿🇦.
