It's really a nice place, pretty modest, understandably so since it's a backpacker destination, and is cheap to book. The rooms are neat and clean, with bunk beds and clean linen. The bathrooms are also clean and the staff is accommodating. There is plenty of security and the place is located inside an estate

As far as back-packers go this is as conventional of one as you get. The facilities are clean, rooms comfortable and the price is more than fair. There’s a big common room, large kitchen, braai facilities, a dinning room, laundry services and a all topped by the great view of Table Mountain.

I am very disappointed by the horrendous service I have received. I made a direct booking with the owner made my payment and the next day I asked to cancel, no one got back to me until I was like... Hello when are you dealing with this... And took a whole R200 while it says free cancelation plus I had decided the very next day so basically a month in advance from the actual weekend. Die mense is fokken skelem.

Value for money. I slept in the single room. The toilet and showers and bathrooms are shared but divided by men and women. There's a shared kitchen area with fridges, microwave, kettle, toaster etc. There is an open car park on the premises. The area seems safe. The room and passages are kept clean. The WiFi wasn't working when I was there. A good, practical place for laying your head down. It isn't luxurious but it has all the necessities.

Friendly environment, the hostel is clean, fully equipped kitchen, self catering accommodation. It has open but secure parking. I really enjoyed my stay there, was there for six nights. The place is situated at the centre of most visited places. The famous Table Mountain, Camps Bay Beach, The majestic Waterfront, Strand Beach so if you want to go and you are not looking for a fancy place but a home away from home, do not hesitate to pick Lighthouse Farm Lodge. The service was just great. My Cape Town vacation for next year is set and my accommodation will be at the Lighthouse Farm lodge.

This place is set in a very bad part of town. People from the neighborhood hang around inside the complex drinking alcohol, washing cars and making a noise. This place is just a filthy dump therefore booked elsewhere after arriving here. stay clear. The lady at reception was rude and uncultured and had zero sense regarding customer service. Stay clear from this place.

Greetings one and all. Please take not of how many bad reviews they are getting. These remarks don't stem from personal issues. They are all purely based on poor customer service experience.

Staff pleasant and helpful. It's a good place to stay for backpackers and a quick overnight. The place was really clean.

Terrible - with a hint of racial undertones. Probably 10 rooms with only 2 sets of guests checked in. In hindsight I now see why.

On a tour, booked the rooms in advance, and wow! Very good place to stay, close to almost EVERYTHING you want to do in Caoe Town. Friendly and helpful staff.

Cheapest venue or hostel in Cape Town attracts many less desirable guests with issues in there life, recovering addicts and sensitive souls. Toilet in men's bathroom was leaking. Food went missing. Possibly they should shift there focus on becoming a halfway house.

Terrible stay, beds uncomfortable, staff were loud, people where loud and inconsiderate. I do not recommend you stay here definitely not as it seems in the photos very poorly kept, toilets are falling apart and shared with others. The other people were just very inconsiderate when we were there.
