Deluxe coffee is my favorite beans and the most delicious in Cape Town. The staff at the gardens branch needs some serious revision or training however. For a coffee shop the barrista takes way too long to get coffee orders through the take away window and staff have "I'm too cool to care" attitude. This has been my experience the last 2 times I was there and other customers waiting in line were also not happy with the long wait. It's an easy problem to fix and hope the bad service at this branch doesn't push customers away from this delicious brand.

4.5 stars for delicious coffee. 1 star for unfriendly staff who basically grunt 1 word questions at you and who look miserable (Buitenkant street).

A darker grungier interior and bean roast than I’m partial to. But not bad. Coffee 7/10, dark roast and okay milk. Service happy and very laid back! A good spot to work or gather, or grab a quick cup!

The nicest two young chaps served us. It was my first time and I was expecting something to eat to accompany my cappuccin, so I was a little disappointed that this is not part of the offering (but now I know). However, one of the baristas offered me his donut. How sweet (literally) was that? Super service, cappuccino was good, although it could have been a little hotter. Great first experience!

Cofee is good. Very unfriendly staff. Cool place but won't go back as the vibe is very unwelcoming.

The staff laugh at you and when you order they take there time cause they talk more to each instead of helping you.!!! Won't recommend this place to anyone!!!

The quality of the house blend is very variable, also I get my coffee ground there for a mocca and its often too fine or too course. Please dont let the standards slip guys...

Delicious coffee, we buy our beans there monthly. Just wish the staff would be trained better. Every time we go in, they are unprofessional and not interested in customer service. This is for the shop in Gardens.

Absolutely adore this coffee shop. It's vibey and fun. The staff make it their business to remember your favourites and I've only been there about five times and the last time I visited they started preparing my coffee as I arrived - that is great service!! Thank you 😊❤️

Deluxe was nothing more than exceptional. It's a great place in a great location with great coffee and service. Take it from me your local trustworthy coffee scout folks. You won't be disappointed.

This place probably makes the best flat white in Cape Town, now that I see your De Luxe logo around all over CT..please teach them how to make a freaking flat white.

Limited in coffee choices. Only espresso based coffee. Limited milk alternatives (only oat). Trendy urban vibes inside the café.

Cape Town has a gazilion coffee outlets and sitdown coffee spots. Delux is no different. Coffee was good though and it seems to have evolved into the " grab my coffee fix" and sit down with my pooch after our walkies hangout. Next time I visit I think i'll walk in with my cat on a leash just to create some early morning excitement.

Nice trendy coffee bar.. like the dark wood decor.. Great up beat vibes, Saturday morning 11am However the staff look not so cheery or perhaps just off having to work Saturday morning. No big deal but have experienced better vibes with most other baristas.. Coffee was average for me, weak taste almost too much milk, so little coffee taste. Had a much better coffee and vibes at Oranjezicht stand. Could be just that they were all having an off day, it’s allowed ;)

They used to sell freshly roasted beans, but now the freshest is two weeks old. And then when you query it they tell you the best time to brew your coffee is 3 weeks after the beans have been roasted. This in Stellenbosch and Buitenkant street. So obviously management know the beans are old and tells staff to say that to customers. Deluxe used to be a step above the rest, now they are a step below the rest.
