Despite it being loadshedding, having a busy and full restaurant and operating off the main road. My first visit to Mischu Coffee was very pleasant. I was wonderfully surprised by the value for money, on their latest special, the Salmon Eggs Benedict. This is one of my favorite breakfast treats, and they did no disappoint. Do not be fooled by seeing this arrive on a single slice of warm bread, it is LAYERED with great fresh ingredients, no skimping on any item at all. For R50 you're more then getting your money's worth. I'm looking forward to heading back soon, but as a first visit, well done team. Delicious. Thanks for the yummies, Cee

Really bad service, bad coffee and just the general vibe unfortunately.. It says something when all of the restaurants in the area are packed and this one isen't, we should have taken that as a sign.. Just a strange place, but I hope they will reset and get better

Having visited more coffee shops than I can even begin to remember, the Mischu Isabella Blend is the best I've tasted. Full bodied, smooth, with a fruity and slightly chocolatey finish,this blend resonates with my taste buds. Having not yet visited the Mischu coffee shop,my rating is based on the experience I had at one of there mobile units outside Scalzini's in Monte Vista. The baristas were professional, welcoming and friendly without being pretentious. Great coffee at a very reasonable price.

The coffee here truly deserves its award. I started with a double shot macchiato, and the taste was exquisite. Little to zero acidity, with a sweet burnt aftertaste. No sugar added. Reminded me of the smoky taste of French roast, though not quite there yet. I ordered an americano next with hazelnut syrup. Perfect. If you’re ever around sea point in the Atlantic board, this is one coffee shop you must visit for the love of coffee. The baristas here do it for the love of the brew. It’s more than a job, it’s a calling.

I am a very regular customer and this morning I didn’t have my mask. I stepped inside the shop but was Still Close to the open door as I was aware I didn’t have a mask and your very bad mannered and aggressive waiter told me to go outside. Not please wait outside and we will take your order there. I run a little boutique hotel and know how important it is to be polite and well mannered. I won’t be going back into your establishment.

Loved the coffee - Google and read all about the Isabella Coffee. There was a special on hot bowls and perfect to kick off a rainy day in Caoe Town! Best value for R50! Visited again and again received bad service - ignored it the first time but this is the norm. The staff stand behind the counter, fo not see waving hands, left. The tall lady was my waitress again - very social individual not caring about customers who pay her salary

Mischu, the first coffee shop I found when I returned to Cape Town 8 years ago and still the best coffee in Town. I liked it so much, that when I opened my store, Landed5 in collaboration with Laughtons Hardware, I naturally wanted to be “caffeinated” by Mischu 🧡

I came into the store this morning and asked very politely to speak to a manager ,not to complain but to just show and drop off a sample of a Kombucha Tea that the company I work with is promoting. I couldn't believe how rude the lady I spoke to was,she bearly looked at me and just said very rudly " we don't have a manager" will not come back to Mischue nor will I recommend it to anyone,not impressed.

My favourite coffee spot in Cape Town. The staff are friendly and welcoming, the coffee is great and they have excellent specials such as the coffee and poached egg on toast for ~R70. Their salads are also excellent value for money.

Edit: it seems you have all the professional equipment for making great coffee, the barista was also ok, but the coffee taste more like the ones that comes from capsules and not like a freshly grind beans. Of course, it is important to note that this is only my opinion, and taste is subjective.

It's a great place to chill and drink coffee. Their red cappuccino is amazing. On the day I came, they had a lunch special which was R50 a plate. Their food is amazing as well

My go to place for morning coffee and breakfast in Sea Point, never disappoints. The staff is kind and some have been working there for years. Locals love it, tourists love it, I love it! They have wifi and a generator for when it's load-shedding, great place to people watch.

The Flat White is excellent. Velvety and smooth. A great little coffee shop in a city in which there is no shortage of coffee shops from which to choose. I’m very happy to have discovered and chosen Mischu!

Coffee and croissant was good but the vibe inside is a bit strange and unfriendly. There is no music and the acoustic in this place is really bad. It’s very loud and the place was not that full. I would only come back for a take away, it’s not a relaxing atmosphere at all.

This is supposed to be sea points high quality coffee joint. Serving their own blend of Isabelle of I don't know what as the barista didn't know either. Set up and lay out is nice enough and clientele regular locals. They even do macha tea but the Rosamond they got could be better quality. For me at least that's where the interest ended. I perhaps should have been more judgemental about what's on the shelf (or what's not - e.g. any decent filter offering), no filter on the menu and I seriously can't be the only 1 who shudders when the response to "flat white, pls" is "what size"?? 🤷 The cardinal sin was then committed by serving it up in a full 8oz cup with bitter low quality coffee.....🤯😵 They do have loyalty card but am *not* impressed and suffice to say won't be taking advantage of it!!! It is a laid back cafe good for lounging but internet is capped at 600mb. Good enough I guess but how much can it be to just let customers surf unhinged?? Maybe a lot .....anyhoo ...off to find cape town's better coffee places or I could just make my own (always have a plan b!! ;-) )
