This is nice place. The staff is friendly and clean. They also work happily all the time and always make sure your table is clean. If I go nearby, I will visit there again.

So my order was placed at 21:02pm.. by 21:29pm all that was on the counter was 3 cokes. After complaining about the service, and another lady stating she's been waiting 35min for 3 drinks the staff was slow, and i mean really slow to respond. Other clients also started complaining. I had 3 guys waiting in my vehicle all who had been working since 07:00am and still had to be dropped at home, all very hungry... and eventually all dissatisfied and disappointed. When we got to the first guy's house in Khyalitsha, he came straight to my window and complained(22:08pm) We ordered chicken mcmeals and they all got regular beef mcmeals. ALL of them ice cold and the garnish looked 2 days old. Needless to say hungry as they where they ate it anyway. So no photos to post. I phoned my wife and asked her to take photos before they ate(dropped the food off on my way to khayalitsha) I ordered extra items for my kids and wife and when i got home i figured its probably not as bad as they described... here are the pics... Lettuce looks old and wilted The double cajun chicken burger had no chicken, its beef And theres no garnish, just cheese, 3 moerse pieces jalapeño and a bit of sauce... see image from their website attached as reference as to what it SHOULD look like!! All in all some of the worst service i have ever experienced. Will be stopping by very soon to have a chat to the manager. Ps: its been 5 days since my complaint to mcdonalds a d no one has botbered to look into the matter.. shocking!!!

My wife and I went for a quick Chai latte and muffins. A very chilled atmosphere due to the informal way of ordering on the screens. But we got what we ordered.

Earlier this evening I bought 3x choc Sundays via the drive-through and the ice-cream was empty almost, and also hardly ANY SAUCE. After asking politely for more (ice cream & sauce) the servant went away, letting the ice cream melt, and after returning just said the chocolate box is empty and kept repeating the words "I'm sorry, I'm sorry", as if its the only words the he can muster. After asking for spoons, seeing that he forgot the give them & serviettes, he tried to give me opened units which was just laying on the counter (from my point of view). I'll never be returning to your branch, especially seeing that this kind of service keeps happening EACH time we go there. It is truly BEYOND PATHETIC!! We never experience this kind of service at other McD branches. I’ve also left reviews on various web site including Facebook.

1 star is too much , waited 50 mins for my order and it was for 6 nuggets only. It was so horrible, people were hungry and very disappointed with the service and the line at the drive thru was just as long never again. If it wasn’t for me asking how far is my nuggets they wouldn’t have never made it.

Very Dissapointing. Late night snack. Oredered a Quarter pounder. I got a over fried burger with ZERO GARNISH... oh wait 3 slivers of onions and a drop of tomatoes sauce. Disgusting that I even had to pay for this. Definate NO to this mc Donald's ever again

Service was poor. First they said I need to change my milkshake order to a juice, which I didn't want. I ordered milkshake. Then another person came and said I need to wait they having trouble with the milkshakes. 30minutes waiting for 2 milkshakes and by that time my large chips was ice cold.. Not happy at all. Not a drive thru. Could just as well go sit inside then or not order at all... Staff need to be more prepared and pro-active in situations. Not impressed at all.

Waited long while placing order. Had to wait for food to be made(in parking bay). Got home with 2 hungry kids, I take a bite into my "Chicken Big Mac" (after a work colleague ranted about how nice it is) all I got was a mouth full of Chilli,chilling sauce and beef. Drove past 2 other stores, as they keep messing up my 1 kids order Seriously NOT impressed. I don't eat chillies!!!!!!! Had to scrape off all evidence and ended with 2 pieces of dry meat patties on a cheeseburger type bun.

Ordered 3 meals and 2 shakes, 1 meal is completely missing and the driver has been sitting almost a hour in our drive way for what reason I don't know. He has the rest of our order with him and my account was debited. Very disappointing service with absolutely no assistance, also your landlines stays engaged!

Service in drive through and inside is great & food is excellent. - a year ago I gave this restaurant 5 stars. This year, I give it one and if I could actually 0. I bought sundaes & all 3 of them were exactly half. The manager helped me & I asked why it was half, apparently I was paying for 2 scoops only and not a sundae. She was extremely impolite in her explaining & refused to fill it because it was procedure. I also waited about 15 minutes for ice cream. This is 1000% unacceptable & the worst experience I have experienced at a mcdonald's, ever. I am highly disappointed.

A great McD for breakfast but not for anything after that if you value warm food and cripsy fries. Also it says 24 hour outside, but when I took a peek in at 00:30 there's a graveyard shift going - and they're waving people away.

So this isn't the first time but the 4th time that my food is incorrect. 1st time wrong order was packed. 2de time we did not receive 1 item. 3rd time wrong food was packed, as the items in the packet look rite but item inside was wrong. The 4th time which is today stuff is missing on my burgers. I mean it wasnt busy when i was there. Im not going to look in each box. They know what to pack in. Ive never complained once and ive had enough of it now! Four times that my orders are not ok and every order is R200 plus. Im very upset and hope i get contacted about the problem. Taking pictures and going back to the store that you bought it from wastes my time and money just to get a sorry...

Only 2 clients in the restaurant. Waited for ever for orders. Could not order at the counter. Waited more than 15 minutes for apple pies. 2hen they finally came they were brown and oily and disgusting. Staff chatting with each other in stead of helping clients. Last time we come here. Actually shocked.

Im not if it was a quiet afternoon. But I would definitely return to this branch. Thank you to all staff. My meal was exceptional delicious (and I order the same thing always at McDonald’s). It was noticeably freshly made, enough spicy sauce (paid extra) and mayo!!! Chicken burger and nuggets were crispy! SUPER GREAT! The staff are well trained, friendly and actually enthusiastic about their customers. Thank you to all staff making my lunch amazing! :)

Please be sure to train your employees when serving the meals to read the slips or on screen before making it. It might be small but it is the umpteenth time I have been at this branch ordering my favorite Chocolate Sundae. I pay R6 per sundae for extra sauce and each time I ask if they did put the extra sauce I get looked at as if I'm swearing at them. As far as I know extra sauce means you get sauce at the bottom and the top cause you pay for it. The staff then tells you they already put extra but are shocked if you asked them. I will change my review once the service improves as I am not satisfied with this especially coming here for over 10 years

I don't buy from McDonald's often, but last week I just craved their fries! It was a cold rainy afternoon and I decided to get a meal. The person who took the order was so sweet. When I asked which cooldrinks they had with the meal, she told me it's way too cold for cool drinks, I should rather have a hot chocolate! And boy, did I enjoy that hot chocolate!

Ordered a Boerie burger meal and so disappointed. No effort was made to this meal. No lettuce fried onions, cheese as displayed on the drive thru pic. All I got was a bun with tomato sauce and a burnt burger, R57 I paid for this nonsense. Really bad service, you won’t be seeming me around there anymore.

I don't really have complaint about the service. They don't really smile. They dont really look happy to be there but the service is quick so no complaints there. Only thing is we ordered for sit down and my husband ordered the double cheese burger meal and got a cold burger when they told us to have a seat and they will bring it. My food was warm and very yummy but the chips were old and cold . Other than that no complaints at all.

Terrible burger I ordered the same one from Haasendal before and it was lovely. The lettuce look old. Avoid this place they are always getting your order wrong. I ordered two burgers only got 1 the chilly fries and the mcflurry. No Big mac received. Very disappointed because we are two people but only one person received their burger. Always check your order even if its with uber eats because they are always getting the order wrong. Items are missing quite often and I'm quite fed up which is why I'm posting a review. They also never answer the phone when you try to get a hold of them about missing incomplete orders.

Absolutely pathetic. All the branches have a huge sign that show they are open 24hrs but none of them are. Take the sign down. This branch only opens after 7.30 and that is for walk-ins only. I saw so many cars turn around.

Service is speedy, and the inside is always well air-conditioned. Great place to escape the cold or heat. The only issue is the chips always being less than what it should be. I have a few times requested the team to look at the amount and tell me if it is the right amount.

Went to buy 🍦 and waited exactly 24 minutes.I saw a lady taking icecream to a sit down client.I then asked the lady tp check my order for me.She was happy to do it all of a sudden there is no ice cream.There was a few people who ordered icecream. They asked us to opt for milkshakes without even asking if we take milkshakes or not.I had to walk away without a refund.

Firstly the attendee at the window spoke so poorly that you couldn't make out a single syllable. Then we wanted to order McFlurries. 2 cars before us got McFlurries, but when we wanted to order, the lady at the window said there is no one to operate the McFlurry machine. I wasn't aware you needed an advanced degree to operate an idiot proof ice cream machine. Horrible service

I would score them 5 al the way, but the menu price vs the pay point is not correct. I ordered a tall Cupachino and at the driver thru it shows R29.50, but at the pay point they told me its more than R30. Not a big deal but its misleading.

According to the website McDonalds Brackenfell opens at 7:00. This is a blatant lie. In the last 3 months there has never been an occasion when I visited this store, that it actually opens on time. The management and staff address customers like the store is doing them a favour and are not in the least interested in customer service.

Had a super great experience there! The restaurant was super clean and had ample covid precautions in place. Got the chilli cheese double, which is always a winner! R39 for a meal is incredibly affordable! Hoping they don’t get rid of the special any time soon! The aesthetic of the store was super great and the staff were helpful and the service was quick!

Can't hear a word the guy at Drive thru says, but no Ice Cream or Frappe again, very disappointing. Ordered extra large coke, with ice, they forgot the ice. Lol

My partner got a cold burger and my burgers rolls were hard. Got it replaced and then burgers were good. Then noticed tomato sauce sachets were sticky and covered in grime and old sauce.

I always say I’m not going back to this McDonald’s but after today I’m really not. Every single time I come here they make you park for your order. Doesn’t matter what you order. And you sit 10-20 minutes. When the food eventually arrives it’s cold. Went for breakfast and chips today. Chips were ice cold. Iced coffee was messed all over the cup so my whole shirt ended up full of coffee. The lady taking my order was rude, mumbled. I had to say 3 times while giving my order I can’t hear her. She would just repeat the last sentence loud but then the next time she talks mumbles again. Pathetic service. Not going back.
