I took my friend to this restaurant on her birthday and she loved it. The food was delicious, the service good and the atmosphere was perfect for the birthday dinner we had. I also enjoyed the music in the background (afro beat, if you are wondering). I will definitely be going back in the near future. PS, A special thanks to the manager who took lovely pictures of us, we really appreciated that.

Got lost looking for the place. It's near the Virgin Active and the Slio in V&A. Great ambience and deco. More of a chill out and relax spot. I really enjoyed the pizzas here, they have an unusual pizza flavor which works well as the drinks are flowing. I'll definitely be back to try out more pizzas. Budget around R350 per person.

Love the location and interior of this place. we had some Tapas, Calamari weren't flavorful (if you're into Grilled Calamari), Chicken Strips and Chicken Wings were delicious 👌🏾. Enjoyed the atmosphere and wine selection. Look forward to my next visit 🙂

I went yesterday to Si Cantina Sociale for lunch. It was empty which was nice to be able to talk and be able to hear one another. They had instrumental versions of popular songs playing which was nice but not blaring. The menu was a bit different to the online menu that I looked at beforehand. I was a bit disappointed that they didn’t have the poppers anymore. The menu has a nice wide variety and even a vegan menu which was great. Although my friend wanted to order the vegan pizza but then there was no vegan cheese and they were out of the vegan dessert which was quite disappointing. I ordered the chicken schnitzel with mushrooms sauce and chip. The chips I didn’t really enjoy but the crumb on the schnitzel and sauce was good. My friend ordered the vegan burger and it was delicious. It didn’t taste like veg at all and was heavily processed. The side salad was disappointing with too much salad dressing and too much lettuce. But the burger made up for it. I wanted to order the crème burle but unfortunately they didn’t have any stock. We ordered the meal a pudding instead which was delicious. The service was good. Atmosphere was pleasant and nice and spacious seating. Other than the lack of stock it was a good experience. I think when they give you the menu they should tell you beforehand what they don’t have in stock. Instead of deciding on something and then being told they don’t have it. I would definitely try it again and see how the other items on the menu are.

Really great atmosphere, and the service is excellent! The staff is really great. The food is amazing. I had the brownie yummy!!! The rest of the table had the rib eye steak and pizza, and they all enjoyed their meals. There is a little bit of something for everyone, and if you like dancing, then Friday night is salsa night. The prices are reasonable for the location. So is it worth it, Yes!

The atmosphere and vibe is really great for families, friends, and the setup looked good, however the food was underwhelming, our waiter recommended we try the steaks (TBone and Ribeye) because it was our first time there and they are supposedly the popular items on the menu. The steaks were bland, not cooked to our liking (Medium rare and Medium to well), the medium rare was rare, and the medium to well was rare even after we took it back, and the brandy pepper sauce had a distinct taste which tasted nothing like Brandy pepper sauce. I would not recommend the steaks, perhaps the pizzas and other items on the menu are enjoyable.

Great service and the beyond meat burger a really good option for vegetarians and vegans. The two times I was there the ambiance of the restaurant was very relaxing, playing an upbeat mixture of pop, neo soul, RnB and acoustic covers. During sundowners the restaurant fills up with light yet still cool because of the architecture and color palette.

No masks worn by staff or management. Food was good but not great and staff were very nice. Definitely need more sauces and spices in meals and as sides...if you offer vegan food you also need vegan mayo. Seems like a very cool place to watch sports as the staff are chilled and the vibe is decent, maybe just need a menu overhaul.

I ordered chicken tacos at this establishment and to my surprise there was no chicken in the tortilla , tiny strips of chicken were placed outside the tarco. I can't even tell you what the tarco filling was but it's a bit deceiving to put chicken taco and not have chicken filling in the taco. Granted that it's not a Mexican place I was utterly disappointed. Also had the most diluted margarita here... I've tasted a loads of them around Cape Town and this one was the worst. Needless to say I left early, doesn't seem like a great restaurant if you like food but maybe a good hang out joint for people of color at the V&A they have the music and the hubbly.

It was relatively empty,being a Wednesday afternoon so I cannot rate the vibe. Lovely service. Lovely food. Beautiful space. I was particularly impressed with their healthy food range on the menu. You do not have to ruin your diet.

We were disappointed. Food was good, but don’t list 1/2 a kg of chicken wings then bring me this 👇🏻🤷‍♀️. And That’s not a salad, that’s a bag of baby spinach. Really people. Brown Avo in my salad. Just no.

Went on a busy night with a group of 15. Walked into a quiz night, that ended with a karaoke (broken mic) session as well. The place was lovely, filled with a lovely cohort of people looking to have a great time. The service did well given the bustling atmosphere, and were always within reach. Food was good, but the singing did do it justice. Quite a fun night overall.

The ambience is lovely, but the food fails to live up to the vibe. The booths' upholstery is worn and torn, which seems out of place for the location of the restaurant in the trendy Silo District. Our waitress was just functional and looked like she would rather be somewhere else. She was distinctly disinterested and couldn't even manage a fake smile to welcome us. No manager came to check on us or our food, which was quite meh. If you're a lover of chicken wings, don't bother ordering theirs as they were a complete letdown. The saving grace of the night was the delicious zucchini fries.

Went for a two friends birthday. Was a good evening out. When we phoned to book we mentioned dietary restrictions as one of our friends has severe IBS and other problems and they weren't too enthusiastic about our questions and requests. He landed up just having the chicken. Staff were amazing. Super friendly and great service. The kitchen was pretty fast for an end of month Saturday night. We enjoyed pizza, burgers, tapas and the chocolate brownie. We also had beers and cocktails. We asked for two birthday brownies but only received one with a happy birthday message. I understand that we went on a Saturday evening and the dj was trying to set a vibe but the music was so loud we found ourselves shouting at one another. The tapas or the haloumi was presented in lettuce cups to make it look like more than it was. It was quite a small portion of haloumi. The mojito seemed like mostly ice and lemon that had a small amount of soda added with the alcohol. Wasn't too impressed with the cocktails. Also they allow hooka smoke inside and on cold evenings all the windows and doors are closed so the air ventilation wasn't great. It didn't bother me but may be a deciding factor for someone else with kids.

I came here for a stand-up comedy show, I booked the table and bought tickets (on quicket)beforehand so everything was smooth and easy. The down side though was that it took them close to an hour to prepare the food. Yes, it was a busy night, but... how long could one take to make nachos? The food was good when it finally arrived, and the comedians were brilliant. They have comedy shows on the first Thursday of every month, and tickets are ±R200. I'm giving them a full 5 stars because even though it was an evening show, we were allowed to bring a baby with us. I know most people hate babies in social areas, but I'm so grateful that the new mother could enjoy the show without feeling like an outcast or experiencing judgement. I will definitely be going back for more shows. The host is great as well, very welcoming, and down to earth.

Great vibe Music was a bit loud( only if you want to have meaningful conversations ) Dj was on point! That being said DJ was 👌. Drinks did take a bit of time to come but the music makes up for it. Food is a bit pricey but overall a great place to have a great meet up with friends.

Made the mistake of coming here on quiz night (Friday, if you wish to avoid it). While the food was adequate, and the eaiting staff were polite and professional (don't worry, he got his tip), the atmosphere was destroyed by the lewd behaviour of the quiz hosts. Foul language (frequent F-bombs), and suggestive remarks flowed over the microphone. Completely inappropriate in what otherwise appeared to be a family restaurant. It was very disappointing, as the food was decent.

Great vegan burgers and patata bravas! The atmosphere at this place, especially in the evening, was lovely! The dj played great music. Very enjoyable location
