Worst
place
to
give
birth.
The
nurses
that
were
on
night
duty
on
the
24th
of
April
2017
were
horrible.
They
had
no
respect
for
patients.
I
went
in
excited
because
it
was
my
first
birth,
instead
I
walked
out
miserable
and
suffered
anxiety
attacks
every
time
I
replayed
the
events
of
that
day
in
my
head.
They
made
me
feel
like
I
had
committed
the
biggest
sin
by
getting
pregnant
and
they
were
determined
to
punish
me
for
it.
From
being
scolded
for
not
being
able
to
shut
my
mouth
during
my
last
phase
of
contractions
to
being
told
'I'm
gonna
dirty
the
nurse's
clothes'
coz
my
bloody
leg
kept
bumping
her
during
labour-
so
while
being
caught
up
in
labour
I
had
to
also
make
sure
that
my
blood
didn't
mess
the
nurse.
I
won't
even
mention
how
you
weren't
allowed
to
feel
or
react
to
pain,
even
when
they
stitch
you
roughly,
should
you
give
out
as
much
as
a
whimper,
you
received
a
threat
that
the
nurse
will
leave
you
as
you
are
and
not
continue
with
her
job.
After
labour
you
are
told
to
get
dressed(without
being
shown
where
to
clean
yourself)
and
told
to
go
get
your
belongings
from
the
passage.
I
had
to
quickly
go
into
the
bathroom
to
wipe
off
as
much
blood
as
I
could.
When
I
returned
I
was
told
to
take
my
baby
and
go
find
a
bed
to
sleep
on.
I
found
my
baby
freezing,
left
alone
while
they
were
'chatting'
in
the
office.
Again
I
did
not
receive
equipment
to
clean
my
baby,
just
told
to
go
find
a
bed,
this
was
midnight.
As
a
first
time
mom
I
expected
the
nurses
to
be
very
helpful
because
I
was
clueless
about
how
to
clean
babies,
how
to
get
through
labour
etc.
I
also
expected
to
be
aided
by
people
who
would
be
empathetic
to
my
situation,
instead
I
got
a
bunch
of
Hitlers.
We
were
woken
up
at
5am,
told
to
call
someone
to
come
fetch
us
coz
our
time
was
up
apparently
so
we
had
to
get
off
the
beds
and
move
on
to
the
passage
to
wait
until
we
were
collected
by
our
families.
Lastly
I
found
that
they
wrote
the
wrong
birth
date,
name
and
surname
on
my
papers,
they
didn't
give
me
my
contraceptive
shot(but
gave
me
a
card
claiming
they
did),
they
also
didn't
give
me
the
discharge
medication
they
wrote
on
the
papers
they
gave
me.
i'm
not
sure
if
this
is
how
they
treat
most
patients
or
maybe
I
was
unfortunate
to
catch
them
on
a
bad
mood
but
I
will
never
forget
the
birth
of
my
first
child.
