I didn't like the experience I had this afternoon at Hungry lion ADDERLEY Street in Cape town. I wouldn't in courage anyone to eat at that specific restaurant the reason being there don't know how to serve their clients .when I was buying there treated me like there are doing me a Favour by selling food to me. The worst part in I asked for Big Bite 2 spicy with added large chips but instead there gave me NORMAL and with small chips the worst part is when I corrected them the lady at the back kitchen shouted at me insisting she can't help it because she couldn't get the correct meal from anywhere. Just look how small the meat is its not worth the money

Was debating between kfc and hungry lion so went with hungry lion for a change. No hello no thank you. Manager on duty wanted to argue about the bad customer service. Chicken wasn't my cup of tea.

Horrible service, accepted order online and when delivery guy went to pick it up they did not address him in a professional manner. They just said they are closed. Yet, payment was taken and app shows order is ready.

Food was surprisingly good for the price. Unfortunately, due to the location, the staff struggle with vendors and homeless people harassing customers in the seating area. However, the staff did deal with the case I witnessed quickly and professionally.

If I could give you guys a 0.1 stars I would ... It was my first time eating at hungry lion and today felt like that day to try them out .. First of all the driver was a whole 25 mins late .. Food looked like it was just thrown together as if they are forced to make this food , payed for a full meal but never got my chips ..... First of all I dont always get takeout but when I do I would like to pay for the quality of food I'm getting , and what myself and my colleague got looked like I went to the zoo and got food ... highly dissatisfied with the service and quality of food .. will never buy fron hungry lion in Adderly street again Hope this problem will be solved or staff will be aware of this complaint .

There Big boss burger is my favorite. This is a must when I'm in town. Or i will Order via uber eat. Great service

Spice chicken were much better than their other branches in less affluent areas. There was no salt or spice for the chips, which tasted very bland due to this. Tables was covered with red boxes, a box in the aisle, dirt bins blocking the walkway,. This while the venue was busy and clients was looking for space to sit. This is just poor management for a venue based in the CBD. Quality service should never take a backseat over sales.

I'm there twice a week and has to be the best branch out of all branches I've ever been to. Chicken is always fresh and spicy and chips are fried perfectly. Something changed at this branch a few years ago but ever since it's been for the best because previously the food was never hot, but in recent years food is always warm/hot.

Hi, i place an order of wings this morning and was delevered by mrD. I couldnt eat them, they were to hard to chew. I had to throw them away. I dont think i will ever visit ur store again

They tend to be busy all the time, but the service is fairly quick. They food is good and tasty with a variety of chicken products. Always clean with visible cleaners. Dine in or take away

The hot wings were good. Not as great as the advertising made it to be, but good. The shop did not have enough wings to fill the 20-wing bucket when I ordered and for me to receive the 20-wing bucket I would have had to wait longer than the normal time. Next time they should have a "just in case" frozen stock in the freezer in the instances they may run short on an order. The lady at the counter was friendly and accommodating. I was happy with her service. Please be strict with the clients that do not clean up after themselves. They make it difficult for the Hungry Lion employees that clean the seating areas. Everyone must clear their table once they are done with their meals. It is not Hungry Lion staff's responsibility to clear patrons' bones and serviettes away. I enjoyed my meal and the service. Their customer service is appalling. Me, a colleague and a bunch of other people had to wait for nearly 30 minutes to get our order. The staff didn't seem to be in a hurry. When the order finally came up, they rudely threw in the condiments. Ain't going there ever again 😒

The place is crawling with Homeless people,right inside the store felt unsafe .And the music was too loud we had talk loud like we're in a night club.The food was good,Just focus more on customer's peace of mind.Like the homeless walking in and out as the pleas it's not on.Oh one more thing the wall barrier on the out side needs to have a safety net put up,In an event of a "Snach and run"again unsafe.
