The old coloured lady who answers the phone is extremely rude. I called to make an appointment for my covid test. She asked me where I was staying and when I said Claremont asked why is everyone from Claremont. She then told me that they are busy and there's another testing center down the road. I told her I went and it was R550. She then said, "And so? You want to come here for free stuff?" I had to try and convince her where I am staying and that I'm not working for her to make the appointment. It's a government facility and I have a right to access health care services and I'm being told to go somewhere else and pay for it.

The main sister (mature coloured woman) at the clinic is extremely rude. She speaks to people disrespectfully and makes a point of shouting at whomever she can. This is a place where you work with people and one should have those people skills and care. She is equally rude on the phone. The rest of the staff are very kind but this particular sister lowers the standard and comfort of the place purely by her rudeness.

Worst service ever. Unproffessional nurses who require a lot of training on communication skills and efficiency. Waited for 4 hours to be seen while two nurses where seeing one patient for over an hour, who turned out to be someone they know as there was loud laughter and chatting followed by a tea break that took over 45 minutes. Did i mention that they all went to tea at the same time leaving nobody on duty..... Will never set my foot again in that place

The old colored woman at reception is soooooo rude, she firstly asked me why I'm bringing a sick child to clinic at 11, when I tell her as soon as I knew that my son was sick after he woke up we called you and came here. Now discussions about how fresh my son is for a sick person started circulating the clinic. The clinic sister who attended to us said he is not sick and that if he was sick he would be like this and that. Now I'm sitting with a nose dripping kid, and a sore throat with high temperature because these women who are supposed to attend to our health dont care or are rather too occupied about time and how the sick should act. So annoying!

The appointment system is redundant. I optimistically took my daughter here for her 6-week vaccination. Arrived timeously for her appointment but ended up waiting a good 2 hours with an increasingly hungry and irritable new born. Also, there were no obvious emergencies to explain the delays. I know this is a resource limited government facility where expectations ought not to be too high, but this was a bad experience considering the misleading appointment system. It is no surprise that the clinic seems so quiet at first impression... it is because people probably don't want to return. Deceptive strategy to keep numbers down!

Appointment system is of no use. My helper waits for 3-6 hours to be seen. The staff who answer the phone are also very abrupt and rude. Government facility yes, but that doesn't mean one can't communicate properly.

i had an appointment on the 29th of December 2020, but due to life uncertainities, that week i went to Eastern Cape for the burial. i came back a week after, i called the clinic to explain annd ask for a new appointment date, but as usual the receptionist who happens to be the old coloured lady said its none of her business and she can nly give me date for february, so basically she saying i should get pregnant, because i only go there for my family planning appointments but now i should wait a month before getting helped.shes been rude to me since day one and im sure im not the only one complaining about her behaviour. very UNPROFFESIONAL!.

The nurses there do not care about people and have no way to talk to patients, the appointment system was meant to help and improve the service, but they just dont care. The front desk is great and can treat all people with same respect, so as the counselor. Bad service from the nurses.

The receptionist/ admin clerk is very rude with no people skill. For a person who is first point of contact with the vulnerable she does not have emphathy.

Been calling everyday for appointment early morning and afternoons. Seems like phone is being ignored. Please employ someone to see to phone if receptionist can't.

I had great experience with Sister Sibongile in two occasions. This sister is so humble and serve with purpose, reception was very welcoming . Thank you Sister Sibongile to obviously change how people view the government nurses. Keep up the good work and stay humble , you are going far. @claremont clinic I am thankful.

Very pathetic service, the old colored matured lady is very rude, I went there on Tuesday to look for service and she told me that all of them they didn't eat so we are done for the day and I must book for Friday appointment,which was even before 2pm but on the website it says they close at 4pm, I don't know what's more important about their stomachs and not willing to help people

A good and clean place I love the atmosphere, the lady on the reception she deserve a five star she is working very hard, she need professional assistant to help her not cleaner, I give 4 star because of waiting but everything is I just love the nursery so nice to people.
