There is an amazing little market on Wednesday evenings with a bit of live entertainment. The market offers a variety of goods ranging from food to clothing, as well as other miscellaneous items. The food stalls are well priced and most off card payment or Snapscan services. Drinks are to be bought from the bar which is inside the main hall. There is an amazing vibe and ample seating both under the tent as well as outside. Kids can run around and play on the grass. Overall, this is a lovely way to spend a Wednesday evening with friends, family or even your partner.

Lovely setting. Enjoyed our time. Eating out and being able to sit outdoors was simply stunning. Music to serenade all, while we decided what to eat from an array of foods from different cultures.

Clean, safe, peaceful accommodation on large park-like property. The property is home to many small animals and birds. Friendly staff. Ideal for small groups, retreats, meetings. Slightly difficult to find gate on maps/gps...look for intersection of St Joans and Timour Hall Roads, Plumstead.

What a beautiful venue! I attended a wedding ceremony and was informed about a market on a Wednesday and Saturday. Outdoors and great for the kids. They have a bar that includes prices from the past πŸ˜‰πŸ€ͺ. Going to try out the market and issue feedback. Otherwise beautiful space...trees grass and a little stream...absolutely tranquil

Timour Hall is a protected building which is well presented and cared for, thoughtfully preserved for posterity. The grounds are large and a mix of gardens, patio areas and grass fields. There are three rescue donkeys there, relaxing, living their best lives! Weekly Saturday markets and car boot sale on the grounds had plenty of interesting loot when we visited! Food stalls with savoury and sweet offerings, all delicious! Well set up, extensive seating areas with access to toilets made for a relaxing lunch. Some unexpected talent gems found in photographer Derick Atkins and young dress designer Fenmare who had small collections of their work there. I have no doubt both will have their own premises and much higher prices on our next visit to Capetown! We have beautiful examples from both of their collections to remember our visit.

First time visiting the market and car boot sale and was pleasantly surprised. I saw some items I haven't seen in years which reminded me of my childhood growing up. People are generally friendly and the band who played on the 02nd July was amazing! Just loved the lady's voice! Will go back for sure!

Sabine and Reece are wonderful hosts. This is a very well situated well kept place to keep in mind the next time you plan a visit to Cape Town. The USA Embassy is only a few kilometres away and there are lots of restaurants and shopping centres around the corner. You will not regret your stay in this very old but beautiful house.

A gem in your backyard. Even experienced an organic wedding ceremony there. Perfect for the couple and guests, if that is what you want.

A lovely venue for markets or festivals. There is plenty of parking available. The setting is lovely as there are beautiful trees casting shade over the lawns.

Under new management, Timour Hall Villa Estate is a little paradise in the middle of Plumstead. Built by Sir Percy Fitzpatrick, author of "Jock of the Bushveld", the villa doesn't seem to have changed much. It's a step back into history surrounded by natural beauty. It is available for accommodation to the public and events.

The place has a rich history and it shows throughout the building. Quite a unique place to visit. There is a very nice lady that works there, who if asked will tell you alot about the the place and surrounding tales. Lodging seems fair and the prices are very reasonable for IPA and non IPA members alike.
