Great walk suitable for all levels of fitness and your pooch. Park at the parking area at the bottom of Tafelberg Road, just as you take the turn off from Kloof Nek Road. Or take the Myciti 107 bus get off at the Kloof Nek stop. The path mostly flat and is partially rocky which means you need to stop to enjoy the beautiful views over Camps Bay. The length of the walk depends on you, as you backtrack to the starting point. We walked to the Kasteelspoort turnoff which took 2 hours altogether and was 7 km in total.

This is a beautiful hike. Go early in the morning - then the path is still in the shade. The route is quite busy so you feel safe. At the start of the hike there is quite a climb, but after that it is flat and a nice walk. There is a lot of loose rocks on the ground, so you have to stop when you want to take a look around! The route is also well marked and there are a few turnoffs you can take to the upper ravine route ect. The parking area at the bottom has a security guard so your car will be safe.

An amazing trail with an even better view! It's best to come early otherwise parking might become an issue. They trail is definitely on the easy side, there are some steep bits and a couple places where you'll have to use your arms for assistance, but noting too intense.

What an amazing trail... Young, old, fit or not, this is a trail anyone can attempt. Perfect day out for a August hike, I imagine summer it can get quite hot. But loads of tree covered moments on the route.

A relatively easy walk with options of accessing routes to go to the top of table mountain or over to Constantia, etc. Absolutely stunning views with the Atlantic seaboard on one side and the mountain with its apostles on the other. Safe and secure parking at the start if you doing a return.

It's a fairly relaxed hike, unless you go up the ravines, where it becomes challenging, but not insurmountable, for relative beginners.

This is a beautiful trail that shows off the Atlantic on one side, and the majesty of the mountains on your other side. It takes about about 4 hours to complete the trail. I was told that it would be a relatively flat walk, but this is NOT case! Definitely worth the effort though.

If hiking, make sure you follow the basics and don't hike alone. Google "Hiker's Network" for safety tips and more information on SafetyMountain Tracking.

Always good to be on the mountain. Some maintenance required where there are some barrier tape but still a lovely walk.

The Pipe Track is the start of my outdoor activities, generally I run this part before I turn off and head up Kasteelspoort or recently Woody ravine so this piece of the trail is a easy walk with some very slight changes in elevations but mostly it contours along side the apostles peaks. Careful if the wind is blowing, take a warm jacket and ensure you have water if it is hot.

Pipe track is always amazing but on recent visits the people who do not pick up their dog poop is making it unpleasant

Beautiful views super scenic and great for beginners. Some sections are a little steep for novice hikers but nothing you can't do with a bit of heart.
