We had a wonderful dining experience at Simply Asia Heritage Square, a cozy Thai restaurant in the heart of Cape Town. The restaurant has a warm and inviting atmosphere. The menu offers a variety of dishes, from soups and salads to noodles and curries, but I was especially impressed by the extensive selection of duck entrees. I ordered the roasted duck with flavored soysauce, which was tender, juicy and flavorful. The sauce was sweet and tangy, complementing the duck perfectly. The portion was generous and satisfying, served with jasmine rice and stir-fried vegetables. We also had steamed chicken and prawn dumplings, Thai Spiced Ramen with duck and Tom Yum soup with duck. The service was excellent, thanks to our friendly and attentive waitress named Promise. She greeted us with a smile, took our orders promptly and checked on us regularly. She also gave us some helpful recommendations on what to order and how spicy we wanted our food. She made us feel welcome and comfortable throughout our meal. I highly recommend Simply Asia Heritage Square to anyone looking for a delicious and affordable Thai meal in Cape Town. It is definitely one of the best Asian restaurants in the city, with great food, great service and great ambiance. I can’t wait to go back and try more dishes from their menu.

We ate here on a Saturday night for dinner and it was wonderful! We arrived and were immediately greeted and given a table. The food was INCREDIBLE - I would come back every night if I could. While we were seated, about 6 delivery orders were sent in, so clearly this place is a popular one. It’s also not expensive which makes it an even better experience.

We found this copy little gem situated in the middle of CBD. Was a typically cold Cape Town kinda day and needed a warm vibe. The Tom Yum Soup 201 was the perfect dish to warm us up. Didn't stop there, food was so good we landed up having a three course meal. Oh and just a recommendation...the spinach cakes is a MUST!

In love with this little Simply Asia. It's very central and has a convenient parking right opposite. The sushi is AMAZING! there is a wide variety for all the sushi lovers. My favourite is the 882. I'm definitely bringing my friends with next time. Also, on Mondays-Wednesdays it's half price on the sushi.

Who knew that Simply Asia Heritage Square has such great sushi! Not only is their sushi fresh and DELICIOUS, but they are currently doing a half price sushi special for sit down customers. It's a good lunch spot if you're in or around town -- and super affordable too!

Food is really good, a little slow to arrive, but that is because there are 18 or more of us each time we go there. They still cope really well when we pitch up without a booking. The staff are very friendly and the prices are really keen. A main is £5 and a starter is £3. Beer is £2. Wine is about £8. Really impressed by this place.

I mean it was alright. Ordered on the app which couldn’t accept virtual cards for some reason. We ordered the starter platter which was good, albeit cold and the tamarind chicken, which the noodles were dry. Flavors were good and service was prompt, just feels there’s better Asian fare around. Will probably not be back.

Had a fabulous Tom yum soup in a tranquil setting. The soup was not short of chicken 👌. Spicy and hot, just the way I like it 👍. I recommend the outdoor seating especially if the weather is great. Will definitely be back!

Their was a misunderstanding/miscommunication which caused me to wait about 45 minutes for my meal, but the manager on duty was apologetic and resolved the situation. Apart from that, the food was delicious and the service was good. I order from Simply Asia in all the cities I go to in South Africa.

Ellen guided us to having the perfect dish which was called Cashew-nuts noodle, absolutely perfect.. just what we needed to end the night. Not overly seasoned, all ingredients were refreshing in the noodle mix. Definitely recommend it.

Yesterday I had supper at the cosy little Simply Asia restaurant in Heritage Square... #DeliciousExperience I had the 514 with chicken with no chilli.... My first time for having this tasty dish, it's a favorite I was told by our waitress. I thoroughly enjoyed the crunchy cashew nuts in this dish and noodles are my favorite so every bite was flavorful and enjoyable. I enjoyed the meal so much that I ordered a takeaway... Another favorite, the "301" Green Curry.... With chicken and coconut milk.... Brocoli, cauliflower, cabbage and basil.... With jasmine rice... Great food, super service, and caters to actual vegetarians (most Thai dishes use curry paste that has shrimp paste or fish sauce). The menu is clearly marked, regardless of if you are vegetarian or vegan. In CapeTown, where everything. Seems to be fish, this little piece of Thailand is a treat.

I usually order in Uber eats and they have not disappointed, perhaps some spillage here and there and changes in flavor but food is always great quality. In the restaurant was no different. The only downside is the parking across the road being quite pricey if you're not able to secure a street parking. The tom yum soup was the best I've tasted from Simply Asia on the day I visited. We also received Great service from Promise our waitress.

Date of incident : 31/12/2020 I ordered two 514's from this branch on new years eve. Myself and my partner felt as if we wanted to head into the new year with our favorite dish from Simply Asia (Yip, we corny like that). The dish was everything but Good! The noodles were cooked to a point where it had lost its texture (it was mushy). The dish was super flavorless as if the Chef lost the will to work on this day. It was super surprising to have a tasteless 514 because this is a flavourful dish. I reported the issue to Uber eats at the time but due to not having a picture my feedback was somehow invalidated. I decided to post this review after recently ordering a 514 from a different branch and being reminded of how good this dish is actually meant to be.

Choosing a restaurant to eat at in the Cape Town CBD can be quite daunting. Sometimes making a decision can take so much time that before you know it it's curfew. We decided to venture around Heritage Square, and popped into the old kid on the block, Simply Asia. If you haven't yet tried Sushi (or Asian food) this is where you'll acquire your learner wings into eating Asian food. It's simple, tasty, unpretentious and constant. The sushi rice was firm and held together when dipped. Not heavy or stodgy. There's a good ratio of rice and fillings. Guaranteed you won't get smotherings mayo here. The wasabi and ginger are served on the platters but easy enough for you to scoop your own serving. If you haven't yet got the hang of chopsticks this is definitely the place for you. No side stares here.... There's cutlery on the table! We tried the: Salmon Fashion Boost, salmon and avo fashioned into a sandwich. Hot Tempura Prawn Roll, an old favorite. Hot Rock and Roll, the teriyaki and seven spices takes this to another level. Inari Spicy Prawn, rice and salmon filled in soya bean curd. Lemon Stir Fry Rice with Prawn, a new dish on the menu with very distinctive tastes of lemon and soy. Definitely a must try if like us you've eaten your way through the menu and looking for new taste sensations. Spinach Dumpling, not a dumpling at all; more like a spinach toast. The highlight and unexpected delight of our meal. These dumplings were a surprise... Fried but not oily. Light and crispy on the outside. Soft on the inside. Oh so comforting. Simply Asia doesn't require the heels you'd normally don when traipsing Heritage Square. It's like coming home to mummy.

This has become our favorite Simply Asia. Mostly due to the quality of the preparation and portions served, the friendly staff and the manager who is always very hospitable and lastly the excellent service. Once we went with our Jack Russell and we were seated outside, the manager brought us a bowl and water for our dog and he was generally very hospitable throughout our stay and that we appreciate. And last night again, just before closing time, impeccable service and the meal was delicious as always. Cheers to you sir, we'll see you again soon ;)

For those who like Asian food, I imagine it is good. It is quite different from what Westerners are used to eating. Although I had eaten before, I did not like it and could not identify the ingredients on the menu.
