Fantastic spot in Camps bay. You can grab something to take away and walk over to the beach or you can park off and enjoy a full plant based meal. Great for a date, a family or is you are flying solo. Friendly staff and great atmosphere. Parking: You can get parking most of the time in the parking lot in front of the Cod father (behind the Pick and pay). There is however always safe street parking available on the main street next to the beach. Once parked Plant is right inside the centre by the Woolworths. The second story view is great over the ocean. Support a local business that is providing something unique.

Fairly meh. The 'steak burger' was ok. But was the Spur burger equivalent of a vegan burger. The chips were really terrible - super greasy and flaccid. Not very tasty and not healthy food overall. Although the breakfast wrap was more appealing. Again it had a lot of oil in it though. There are much better, tastier and healthy vegan options available in Cape Town.

Loved it! The name says it all. Plant 🌿 I. E. Plant based products /vegan. Had run past it two days prior and just knew I wanted to try them out. So glad I did. The setting is top notch, and the food was even better. Bennie and Harvey were amazing hosts being friendly, courteous and efficient. I don't think many people know about them yet so go while still quieter. 😊

I am such a picky eater, but in all honesty, I am obsessed with your food! My Uber Eats account exists of ordering once a week something tasty from your menu. The portions are so filling, the textures and flavours makes me forget I am eating Vegan 👀!! The prices as for “vegan” restaurants in Cape Town, wow, you really are making it hard out here for the rest hey ?? 😂 In all honesty, I LOVE IT, I am obsessed !!

Highly disappointing. Smallest wrap ive had for a whopping R85! Was just avo and rocket, nothing special about it. So small that is would barely enough food for a small child, but at BIG price. Had to go to Woolworths across from your place to buy a wrap twice the thickness for R50 just to not feel hungry afterwards. Very very poor. Apparently extorting vegans for outrageous prices compared to the same meal for non vegans is a thing for vegan restaurant as well. Wont be back thats for sure. Plus the outside area was the nosiest place ive ever sat at.

This is a great little find. The Gluten Free pancakes with mushrooms, ‘cheese’ is delicious!!! Along with the detox juice below. Reasonably priced

I’m very sorry to say I did not enjoy their vegan food. They were very nice people but the mozzarella sticks are a no no. The samossas weren’t too bad. The lasagna had cheddar cheese on it sadly too. Maybe I made the wrong choices🥲

What a gem! Loved the great food and atmosphere. We had the vegan nachos and burger and both options were delicious.

Saw the Plant signage and was thrilled. Because this was a place I've heard of through other people's social media accounts.. (for a few years) But what a disappointment 😞 The falafel platter- the dips all had a very sour - ish taste. I ordered the pho and the broth also had this touch of sourness. The service wasn't 5 star, our waitress was not attentive at all and service was a bit slow. Not sure if there's new owners but it is a small place and when you're like the only customers in the shop, you'd kinda expect better service. At least tried and tested and can cross of my list

This place has a fantastic variety of vegan food to choose from, I had the Gado-gado and my partner had one of the wraps, we both had to have a desert afterwards as we couldn't walk past the sweets in their cabinet. The food was fresh and tasted great and the service was fantastic and friendly. A great spot to have lunch in camps bay :)

The chef invented this pretty ingenious method where he slices the thinnest mandoline carrot pieces 🥕 and turns them into “salmon”. If you’re a vegan foodie then you have to check this place out. Lovely atmosphere here too with the most incredible sunset views of Camps Bay! 🌅 Check out their Instagram page where they regularly post menu updates etc.

Never Again! Slow Never minded staff more obsessed with their phones than customer service. The food was just okay, quite pricey for the position size. The view was probably the best part of the experience.

Great location for an amazing breakfast or lunch. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Always a joy to go to Plant @ Camps bay. Also you can go to Plant @ buiten street, there they have the same options as well as diner options

Was so excited to find a veg place but unfortunately found it a mixed experience. The food was not very fresh. Dumplings were the best thing we ate. The Bao sandwiches had nice flavour but were a little dry and needed a hoisin sauce or something extra. My gado gado salad weirdly came with rocket not iceberg, and the sauce was a thick paste and not something that could be used as a salad dressing. But the real issue was that the beanshoots were not fresh enough and tasted off. To their credit they acknowledged the problem when it was clear I’d hardly eaten any of it and refunded the cost. Koeksisters were also on the dry side. Coffee had a nice flavour.

Healthy and concisous eating could not be more delicious. Locate on the bustling strip in camps bay. Plant Cafe offers a range of honest, plant based meals. Their French style creps made with buckwheat are some of the best I've ever tasted. Great selection of fresh juices, keen service and few indulgent sweet treats in their deli counter with definitely delight. Oh and yes it's all vegan. Today we tried the home made burger and hot dog. So delicious and not a pre made soya product in sight. Love it, well done Pierre and Angela. Loving your new spot.

This place is breathtaking my first time to step there l was really pleased the atmosphere the colourful art the vibe the beach l loved it! I had the lox wrap wow it was so tasty the lox the presentation was so lit. Great work camps bay the place so clean showing more life if you need a place to chill and enjoy Plant Camps bay is the place to be. After checking their reviews I went with very high hopes but I was extremely disappointed with the food. Vegan food is tasty but the way they make is really bad.

Pros: Large menu with great vegan/vegetarian options. Cons: Slow service. Dirty, sticky table.

Plant only for virtue signallers, really horrible options, English breakfast is really a joke! Absolutely nothing for meat eaters. At least proper restaurants offer vegan options. Utter discrimination!!!

Vegans corner! Nicely tucked away upstairs with a beautiful view of the ocean. However, too many tables on small balcony so end up sitting back to back with no social distance happening. What we ordered was fresh and tasty. Service a bit slow or should I rather say, laid back.

I've been waiting to eat here gor a while , and was genuinely exited . Whilst the waiting staff were charming, I believe they are possibly resting on previous food laurels. We ordered 5 dishes and not one was even remotely tasty. Felt more like a takeaway joint than the highly lauded vegan eatery i had read about. Restuarant was empty so even busy could not have been an excuse.

Nice venue but the quality of the food has deteriorated markedly over the years. Spaghetti Bolognese didn’t even try to resemble the real thing- instead of a ground meat texture it was uniform cubes of “meat” like pet food - and tasteless. This has to be one of the easiest dishes to veganise, if they can’t manage that you can’t expect much from the rest of the menu.

Lovely views of Camps Bay; excellent vegetarian food; friendly, helpful staff. We enjoyed our visit and meal very much.

We got food poisoning from two burger meals we had here, it was falling apart, probably coz it wasn't cooked properly. The cook took the bin out, never saw her wash her hands, my husband and I were so sick for days after, worst experience ever. Answer to response: yes I did put it on the other one, but I it realized it was the wrong branch and deleted it, and put it on the Camps bay one, but either way we still had bad food poisoning, please dont try to take away from the point that your restaurant made my family sick, why dont you sort out the problems with your staff and hygiene and food quality

Very disappointing delivery. Took over an hour and 20mins to arrive, the food was stone cold and sauce and food was all over the bag. This could be delivery partners fault (Uber eats), but the food didn’t appear to be ready until over an hour after ordering either. Food itself was just ok.
