I was so impressed with this little restaurant , in Woodstock,Opp FNB, quality Food, The owner Moosa Bhamjee gave us personal service. The prawns and chips and rice was delicious. Definitely will be going back here. OH YES AND TELLING ALL MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY ABOUT THIS PLACE. WELL PRICED AS WELL

This food joint is definitely a good example of Dynamite coming in small packages. The food is great, the presentation was hotel standards & no dish lacked any mouth watering flavours. Prawns & crayfish is a must have but the saucy chicken is by far there signature dish.

Had prawns and chicken platters! Honestly the food is really amazing and appetizing! Haven't tasted better food than the food from TASCA! Really recommend this place! Also staff are polite, kind and really bring a warm feeling to the place! Try them ASAP!!

A hidden gem of a spot. Don't be fooled by the look of the place. Food is excellent. Tip: ask if the crayfish is in stock as it is not on the menu. You won't regret it

What utterly disgusting service from this store! I ordered prawns and got shrimps. When I called the store, the person I spoke to tried to claim that I bought a special which meant I was entitled to smaller prawns. This was not advertised. The way the person spoke (I should actually say shouted) to me was definitely not how one speaks to their customers. Horrible food, horrible service and horrible owners. I will NEVER support them again, instead I'll take my money to Pedro's a lovely (and affordable) restaurant a few doors away from them, and I suggest anyone else who wishes to try Tasca Mozambique's food to do the same.

No order or system. Very unprofessionally run. We went in person, ordered and paid. Informed owner we will return to eat to avoid they 90 minute waiting time from when we enquired day before. On return, they informed us they GAVE AWAY our order as we were 30 minutes late and had to restart preparing. No consideration that we have an over 70 year old with us and young children. But there's "nothing they can do"

I feel bad to rate this place so low as the owners are lovely but there's no denying it was horrible. The chicken is the worst thing i hv ever tasted. It tasted rotten. Prawns were okay. I dnt understand the raving reviews other people gave.

Love the chicken. It’s never dry and always full of flavour. The chips are not frozen but rather fresh and always a lovely accompaniment. With the owners always on hand to assist and make your dining experience the best. Relaxed atmosphere and you can’t help but want to consistently go back as your taste buds salivate.

Unbelievably insanely delicious grub. Definitely the best prawns and peri chicken I’ve ever had. And the chips are also amazing. But it’s the magical sauce that really smashes it out of the park. So good it should be sold in all supermarkets, cos I’ve never tasted better. I’m not lying. Trust me. Thank me later.

Would definitely given tasca Mozambique a 4 star rating as the food, chicken super tasty, prawns on point juicy n flavorful, crayfish tails juicy n Meaty. Owner n his son kind, good friendly people. The negative, food was served 2hrs later, lots of teething problems. Owner should try to learn from this Xmas season rush to improve on a more efficient and speedy service, great food wonderful owner. My heartfelt prayers is for almighty to take his business to great levels.

Ordered the prawn and rice special on Uber eats. The entire rice was soaking in oil. It wasn't sauce or butter - it was definitely oil. The taste of it had so much of potential but I could not finish even half of it. So disappointed!

Really had the loveliest prawns as part of the TASCA SPECIAL. Full chicken, 12 medium prawns and two large sides for R299. Enough food for 4 people. I took the upgrade of queen prawns for an extra R99. Will go back there again

The worst ever I walked in 5mins no one acknowledged me,l ordered on Uber eats but decided to go and collect rather, was treated so badly.customer service was bad,the old taking orders man was very rude and kept messing up orders.l only got my food after an hr the food was so bad and so little for the price they charge on the app.l got to the car and the order was short ,l went back and again no acknowledgement .l don’t recommend this at all.if you see a special on Uber eats runnn with your money. This spicy rice and strips they charger r150 even tho it was on special,such a rip off

When they opened up there food was good but not anymore they give u old chicken.

We were excited to try their food..Ordered fried fish and prawns last night. Tried calling no one answered to place the order. We then decided to order through uber eats. The prawns were good but the fish wasn't fried well in both our servings.

My husband bought a hyperli chicken burger special but for the first time I was disappointed. I was eating more of a salad burger than a chicken burger as the chicken fillet was sliced so thin!! They have never disappointed us in the past, such a pity.

Ordered myself a chicken skewer at Tasca Mozambique which is essentially in a food market. You'd expect a fair level of food proportions if you spend over R100 for your order over the counter, except in my case, this wasn't what I experienced. I waited roughly 45 minutes for one skewer and a handful of chips which is very disappointing. If one would wait 45 minutes for an order of R110, atleast compensate my time by providing a decent portion in kind. While I waited, I merely observed the attention to customer service which is severely lacking and attention to urgency. In my opinion, this establishment seems more of spending money out of support more, than spending your for decent food.

Great service and great food

Very impressed with the value for money. Where else can you eat 6 medium sized prawns with chips for 50 rands? Plus, the prawns were delicious in their hot sauce. Definitely recommend. The restaurant is located in Woodstock and has a fast food feel, so I was pleasantly surprised.
