I visited the clinic for the first time ever and wanted to make an appointment for an implanon insert. Arrived just before 7am the staff were very helpful and there were so many staff members outside the clinic who we could enquire with should you need any assistance as well as pointing us in the right direction. We were given our chairs to sit while we waited outside the clinic. We were finally collected outside to come in and i was directed to the info desk which everything went to smoothly since it was my first time at the clinic i had to open a folder which was so efficient. Thank you to the gentlemen who were seated there. I went up to the area for woman and children's health where yet again the service was great the clinic is very clean and it is easy to find your way and the staff are always readily to assist when asked. I spoke to the nurse who surprisingly she assisted me get the implanon on the day i came instead of waiting so long after my booking was cancelled at the reproductive clinic in Golden Acre after it being made 2 month previously. Ultimately the service was amazing and the clinic is very very clean all staff including securities were very helpful and friendly ready to assist. Considering the amount of people that visit this clinic they have a really great working system, I was only there for 2 hours which is a great timeline considering the amount of people they had to assist on a daily. The nurses and all staff looked so neat in their uniforms. I would ask though for better signage in the toilet in the woman and child "clinic" where to throw the urine bottles and also fix the lock of the toilet for better privacy. overall and 10 out of 10

I have never been so heart broken. I was given the run around after seeking assistance with my recurrent yeast infections. I get them monthly. They aren't caused by food. Drinks. Or sugars bc I don't eat any of that. After explaining my situation to one of the sisters on the floor of the M&C department while her focus and attention were on her phone bc I was looking for help, I was then told that I wouldn't receive any help there. After waiting for some time in the pain and discomfort I am in, I left eventually. I had to hold back tears being turned away with no intent to help, let alone being given a way forward or at least a referral to the next clinic/hospital, or being listened to and instead being told to "stop eating foods with yeast". That was literally the only thing said to me. I know my body. I know what makes me sick. I know when something is wrong with me. I am angry. Disgusted. And mostly disappointed in how patients are treated and then simply discarded. I hope no one else goes through this. Especially another female.

Whether you have an appointment or not it makes absolutely no difference. My mom is elderly and we sat for three hours before being attended to. We arrived at 6.30 for our 7am appointment. We were only allowed in at 7.30. Sat and waited another two hours before our folder was found. The sisters/doctors are lovely but Things at reception/admin can be managed much better. It’s ridiculous that 1. People wait so long because of poor systems and a handful of disinterested staff 2. As a result other people are turned away because it’s “full inside”.

Honestly, i feel like the staff working there feels like that clinic belongs to them and that they can do as they please...Last time i was there it was raining...They made patients stand outside in that cold and rain with no shade ...i was feeling so sorry for the older patients. Like what is happening to our health facilities? instead of treating people like actual people with some respect and dignity, we are treated like animals. They dont have time to help people on time but they have time to be rude and up and down with patients when they are being told when they wrong. Honestly, patient rights is overlooked at this big huge ice cold building.

I have been here since morning for a severe headache and abdominal pains. Simply because it's not my date, no one is taking my case serious and I am pregnant. It seems like it's a crime to come to the clinic before your appointment day. Unfair.

I am very satisfied with the service and was impressed that the staff contacted me on more than one occasion...following up on my son recovering and hospital dates....medication and so on...it's a first for me...for a state facility...keep up the good work

My appointment was @7. I arrived at the clinic and I was asked to sit in the sitting area at women's clinic. I waited and waited until I was the last person sitting. I tried to speak to the nurse consultation room 3, as I had no idea what's really going on, she just said you are disturbing me, I'm busy but she was walking around chit chatting. I. Really passed off.

2 Star for the fact that 7pm exactly it's open and people are let in and the petite gentleman(wears glasses) who assist outside is very respectful to people of all ages. Service ridiculous!!!!! Staff very mean especially at reception (window 2 for my past 2 visits) no smile whatsoever ESPECIALLY on people of color and lady nurse asking people on the queue outside the reason for visiting she's rude. Lady in window 2 sometimes doesn't use the 🎤 so people can't hear her. Elderly isn't prioritized as it is written all over the clinics walls. What's the point I'm booked at 8am but I sit for over an hour for window 2 to give me my file????? Window 2 started serving at 7.55 (3/31/2023) but people been sitting there from 7am and obviously arrived much earlier than that.

Came here last month at 6:30 am. I was assisted around 4 pm late after they only let me get inside at 3 pm. We stood in the rain and cold for so many hours. I only write this message because I'm thinking of the old grannies who were there in the cold while the clinic was empty inside. Something has to be done in this clinic!

Arrived at 7.And they gave me number 42. I waited by the queue and hardly moved, only to be told that they called me and I didn't respond. Had to wait for them to serve everyone. It's 2pm at the moment, they are not bothered. And they did the same to an olderly well in his 70s.such a shame,

I have been trying to see the psychiatrist for 5 months but she is either unavailable, or has just not arrived on the day of our appointments. When I finally arrived for the appointment at 12 yesterday, she was an hour late. I had to wait 4 hours while plenty of other people (who came later than me) were allowed to see her first. By the time it was finally my turn, she told me that I would just have to come in a different day. The clinic had already closed so I would not even be able to get my medication. I have a job. I came specifically because I needed to get my medication. As soon as possible. I made plans, and I've come in today to get the medication, after waiting an additional hour, I have just been told that I need to have a blood test for a medication that I have been on for 5 years. FOR THE FIRST TIME. This should have been communicated to me yesterday when The doctor put me on the medication. Not the pharmacist after wasting my time. The lack of communication and disrespect for the patients at the facility is horrendous. I understand that the staff are over worked but it is completely unacceptable for the staff to lack the basic skill of communicating with each other and us. For those of us with chronic conditions who have to collect our medication regularly, this sort of service can be incredibly detrimental to our health. I know that the staff are human, but you need to respect the patients as humans too.

I don't understand how this place operates. Walk ins are subject to the worst conditions, I mean how are you supposed to get better if you're waiting on the abject cold, nothing gets said to you... Its shocking I really hate this place. Waiting in queue for 4 hours just to get seen.

Something about the general system operations of this clinic needs to be improved upon. Yesterday I had to visit the clinic for blood test results, results only not to have my blood taken - this happened a week ago and I was then told by the doctor, staff worker at reception as well as consultant on the phone that I could just come in without an appointment. After 5 hours of being sent back and forth from one person to the next, one staff to the next, rude treatment by security staff forcing me to have my vitals checked and to take a number before I could see the doctor (mind you on hour 3 of waiting and back and forth in pain the security at the vitals check area questioned me abruptly why did i get my folder without a number and who gave it to me. I said I did what I was told and I go where the staff sends me but at this point I could see they just did not know their own procedures at the clinic. Eventually after one of the male nurses from the blood room walked by noticing me still waiting there and he said I was not required to go for vitals if doctor is only reading me my results and then he went to try and assist to get a doctor to still see me at that time of the afternoon. Thank you Mr Morombo for your kind gentle assistance, if it wasn't for him I would probably have been told to come back the following day along with 10 other patients still in the waiting area for vitals. We as the public rely on your staff to help us and guide us appropriately and you as the Healthcare workers have a responsibility to give the proper care and guidance to us. But after my experience yesterday it was a shame to see how staff abuse their positions and speak or treat patients any way they deem acceptable.

If I were to post without star I would, the service I received today was very horrible, I waited 3 hours for requesting a box of condoms for our construction workers, to campaign Aids world day tomorrow, the security kept saying the person who should assist me went shopping . And she never came until I left. If the public can’t access such important request of saving lives I don’t know how this clinic is serving a purpose.

Service is pathetic, sat for 4 hours waiting for folder , signs up saying that they are short staffed, nobody can answer me as to when the problem will be addressed, surely you cannot expect the patients to be just to sit there and wait, and after 4 hours your card is still lying there waiting for someone to find your folder😡😡😡
