Wanderer Tours was amazing and I am very happy with their services. Che was very knowledgeable and was able to create an itinerary to meet my needs. From the beginning, he was quick to respond and give excellent recommendations. While on our tours to Robben Island, Table Mountain, Boulders Beach, Cape of Good Hope, he was always checking in and made sure things went smoothly. Che put together an amazing itinerary for our group - ranging in age from 53 to 14 - and kept us all entertained. Our trip followed the Garden Route, ending in Cape Town. Rafique was our driver and he was awesome. Weather was not our friend on a couple of the days but the guys were quick to rearrange activities as needed. When we wanted to make a few changes last minute, they made it happen. I would highly recommend Wanderer Tours.

What a wonderful adventure with Che and his crew. This guy is a real entrepreneur-----efficient 💯 👌, helpful, funny 😁, entertaining, knowledgeable, and goes out of his way to accommodate whatever you need. And as many times as he's had to guide foreign folks through the wonders of South Africa 🇿🇦, he enjoys it as well. We were fortunate to see a great white 🦭 on Seal Island which was a first for Che, too. He went out of his way to secure and send me some African flower 🌼 🌸 seed packets in the United States 🇺🇸 as gifts for some of my gardening friends. This review can't do justice with how amazing this company is! We had an absolutely blast with Che on our Wanderer Cape Point tour. Che personalized this trip to our interests, and even added in some extra stops! It was organized, thoughtful, tailored to individual needs, and extremely well run. Knowing we were going to spend a week in Cape Town, we searched for tour companies to assist is in planning our adventures. We came across Che @ Wanderer tours and WOW! was that a find! He was very communicative and answered all of our questions. We were planning this trip for 10 people and as you can imagine, it was a little difficult planning something that everyone would enjoy. He listened to what what we wanted, suggested sites that we may have wanted to see and the outcome was FABULOUS! Everyone enjoyed the trip! Also, side note, Che (the owner of the company) and Tino (our driver during the tours) went out of their way to accommodate my husband and I on our "off day" and again, a week later, when we had a 9 hour lay-over coming back through Cape Town. We went on multiple tours with different operators and can say that Che and his company stand out from the rest in so many ways. They are all about creating amazing local experiences that provide different perspectives on South Africa and take you off the beaten track. One of the highlights of our trip was their local African food tour that included sampling cuisines from Somalia, South Africa, Ethiopia, Mail, and Senegal. I wish I could give a better rate than 5/5 Che was so quick to organize and put the tour together because I called very last minute when my initial plan got cancelled. I spent the day with Faizil who is an amazing guide, so kind, thoughtful, very careful with the driving, told me a lot about the region, all the places we went to, different species we saw along the way, and also great info on South Africa as well. I had a full amazing time : whale watching, the penguins, seals, ostrich, we stopped to many nice places, cape of Good Hope and the lighthouse, then drove along the coast at sunset time. All of that to say that I had a blast, they have amazing people working at the tour operator, they are very passionate about their job, and go above and beyond to give you the best experience. My family and I loved the Cape Peninsula Tour! It allows you to see so much in a day, even with a limited time in Cape Town. The whole drive is gorgeous, but the Cape of Good Hope and Chapman’s Peak are spectacular. We also stopped at a lovely place for lunch. Che is a gem—smart, personable, and a ton of fun! He’s an awesome guide but also gave us space and time to enjoy each stop as a family. He went above and beyond to rearrange our route based on the weather, so we could have the best experience possible. We ended up booking with Wanderer again for last minute transportation to Franschhoek. You can’t beat traveling in their Mercedes SUV. Highly recommend!

I contacted Che in January to curate an exciting holiday/birthday itinerary in April for my friends & me. It was my 40th. His TAT was commendable and I liked that he was super flexible to help build a worthwhile experience. We had some visa issues and couldn't make the trip in April as originally planned. He was pleasantly patient and tried to explore other options for us. We were in touch until our visa issues were finally resolved. My friends & I visited Cape To in August, and Che & his team outdid themselves from the minute we landed till they dropped us off at His services are some worth pricy but it represents the value of the experience. A win-win if I may add. Our tour highlights were visiting two exquisite Winelands in Stellenbosch ( QuoinRock & Delaire Graff), Paragliding, and the Atlantis. We went on some other tours like the Shooting range, Chapman’s Peak, Table Mountain Cable ride, etc. Our itinerary was sophisticated and we managed to get some rest too. Che and his team are professional and really passionate about their role in making your travel/tour a 5* experience. I will definitely employ his services next time I'm in Capetown. My mother & I went on the Cape Peninsula tour (with a twist, we included wine tasting as well - do it too!) and it was a super fun day, much thanks to our guide, Rafique, which was knowledgeable, funny, lovely & accommodating. We had 3x day tours- we only planned 2 but booked a third when our schedule changed and because we were so happy with how they went. Our guides, Rafique for 2 of the days and Nwabisa for the third day we’re great. Really knowledgable and super flexible around what worked for us. We travelled with our 1 year old and both were great with him. Each tour was great for different reasons Cape Town City Tour- you get to cover a lot and see a lot of the city’s history. Bo Kaap was a highlight for us. Hermanus Whale Watching- we saw loads of whales and had a great stop at a fantastic vineyard on the way back Cape Point Tour- beautiful nature and scenery. Highly recommended!
