Took my very young children (4&5) for a 5pm dinner. Someone who I assume works there because she went behind the bar was so loud and swearing like a pirate and excessively vaping inside . I requested a takeaway to remove my children from the "restaurant." Without saying anything to the waiter he asked if we were uncomfortable about the language and topics of conversation to which I replied yes. He went and spoke to the group at the bar and then we had to endure laughing and whispering. When our order arrived we quickly left. We weren't 2 steps out the door when pirate lady screamed FUUUU#K and they all wailed with laughter. Revolting establishment! Sad because my kids really like their pizza and the service was good. Luckily cape town has many other great pizza options.

If you're a fan of proper authentic pizza made with love, I suggest you go visit this awesome little spot. Great staff, super great vibes and honestly a down to earth venue. I'm already making plans to go back for a lunch or dinner even though I live nearly 60kms away! That's how awesome the spot is! Go check it out for yourself, if you don't believe me!

Their pizza was amazing and delicious. I would recommend the the spicy sausage if you're into spicy food. The atmosphere is very relaxed and not crowded at all. However, the cheesecake I ordered was tasty but the crust was burnt and that was a bit upsetting. $

Placed an order for a lasagna, a creme soda and a banana milkshake. All that arrived was a coke and the milkshake. The driver told me that he had asked twice whether the restaurant was sure that there was no food, and the restaurant had insisted that there was no food. When I phoned Narona they told me a different story, they said that they had asked the driver to wait 2 minutes for the food and he had just left. They apologised to me and said that they would send the food and "personally ensure that it arrived". I don't know who is lying here. Probably the driver. But even if it was the driver who lied, Narona still gets only 2 stars from me for these three reasons: 1) They did not contact me to let me know that the driver had left without my food. If they had done this, then I could have told the driver that he's lying and sent him back. 2) They did not contact me to let me know that they didn't have the creme soda in stock. I cannot drink coke I have a caffeine allergy and would have asked them to send something else. I had to give the coke away and go to the shops for my drink. 3) After assuring me that they would "personally" ensure that the food was delivered to me, it took another 57 minutes for the food to finally arrive. It was by then completely cold. I live exactly 6 minutes from the restaurant. I have no idea what they were doing for the first 51 minutes, but this time they definitely cannot blame the driver. If they had told me that they were going to take (another) hour to deliver, I would have just gone and picked it up. I should also note that I did pay for priority delivery on this order, because I was in a hurry, and it ended up taking almost 2 hours in total to arrive. Terrible communication overall and a horrible experience. The only reason I don't give 1 star is that they did at least apologize. But they failed to make it right after apologizing.

Ordered the "World Famous Cheesecake" online.. did not meet expectations at all. Flavour was very bland and tasted like it has been in the fridge for over two days.

While I love your food, your establishment is let down by a lack of cleanliness (everytime I am there, I have to dust crumbs off seats and tables) and your rude staff. I was told to "relax" by the gent working behind the bar on New Year's Day because I expressed dissatisfaction at the fact that I had been waiting in the restaurant for 10 minutes for a collection order, and it turned out the pizzas were sitting on the coffee machine the entire time. I've never been spoken to in that way in a restaurant by a server, manager or owner. I kept calm in the moment because I wished to avoid making a scene, but given that he was putting on the show all by himself, I regret holding my true thoughts back.

Okay pizza; long wait ....just one person was running everything poor guy; management clearly needs to hire more help. Area if sitting outside can feel a bit sketchy but wasn't too bad. Driver highly overpriced

It's a nice place to eat really good and creative pizza, they also have ribs which are very tasty. I went with a group of friends, music was perfect and the waiter was very friendly. The restaurant was not crowded, but based on my experience, it should be crowded. One of the best pizzas I have had.

No wood fired pizza oven, no pizza. This should be a legal requirement added to the health and safety regulations. So many calories, so little joy.

An amazing vibe - spent the day working there with a couple of Tafel's and a pizza on the side. The sun was out and it was an amazing day in Cape Town and it was well spent at Narona - will keep coming back because the service was amazing, so were the food and drinks. Amazing vibe all in all

I enjoyed a very pleasant dinner, with delicious pizzas and good wine. What could be better at a very competitive price ? On top, the manager surprised me by speaking French..

This was a bit of a hidden gem. I was staying at an Airbnb up the road, when someone suggested that I pop down to the local spot. Note I am and was on crutches at the time, so could only *hop* down a small distance. The venue has inside and outside seating, a good food menu, featuring some of my favs, and great staff. It can get a little vibey in the evenings on the weekend, which is nice, it doesnt get over packed, but still a good spot to start your weekend. On my last day I had a lovely eggs benny, that was great value for money. I look forward to heading back, a stunning little spot in the middle of Gardens.

Pizza is good, and service is solid, but occasionally their beer, or other drinks will sell out over the weekend, so on Mondays the selection may be more limited.

Unchilled Chardonnay (in Cape Town???), flies all over the place, music too loud, a disinterested bartender... Niche market, courses for horses...? Not this horse!

Ordered a slice of cheesecake via a delivery app. Waited almost an hour for it to arrive. When it did arrive, it was a soggy piece of malva pudding that looked like it had be thrown into the takeaway container. Very disappointing.
