Oh my word. The best Spar I’ve ever seen. They stock things you didn’t even know existed. Also the staff are so happy and feel like they loved. The atmosphere is electric and the place is clean. The lines get very long so be ready to wait. They have a whole range of imports which are really nice to have that option. Go check it out

It’s a decent Spar with lots of options and nice goods. Was a bit sad to see security following a homeless guy around in the store like he was a criminal. The security guard seems to have a superiority complex.

Normally get some really great service from the entrance right to the check outs. Was assisted by Portia, two portions of chips and chicken. She gave me two sachets of salt, I asked more salt and she tells me rules are rules and waves her hand. She also seems sick. Bless her soul. Thanks Portia. I enjoyed the extra salts.

Good store. Well stocked and setup to cater to the office worker. They have an expansive section of prepped and ready made foods.

Priscilla was a dream to deal with very professional and made a burger for me and my employee for R39,99 can you belive it! The taste omw better than McDonald's and up there with Burger King but tastes much better to be honest. Back for round two today with Portia serving and also professional 👌. Keep it up Cape Quarter

One of the best stores at national level. " they been voted best store of the year a few times" They stand out from others, due their exceptional excellent service, from the management to cashiers. And they very famous for a few reasons: - lovely fruits and vegetables section with a huge variety of selections. - salad bar: great and favorite lunch stop for many . - grill and burger bar: variety of freshly grilled meat, chicken, burgers and hotdogs. - sandwich bar - Suchi bar. - beltong - section - cheese and cold meat. - great meat and chicken section And the entire first store is for tols, Gardens and hardware. And Tops "liquor store" is next door. I really struggle to like any other store like I do like this one.

Great Spar, good selection. The bakery is amazing

My colleagues and I suffered from food poisoning after consuming cooked chicken products (quarter-leg and wings) on separate occasions. There is a bad odour at the back of the store near the refrigerated goods section.

Excellent Spar. Quite a maze of aisles, packed with everything one expects to find in a supermarket. Excellent vegetable section. Hope to see True Nature frozen dahls on their shelves soon.

I work in the area, so Spar Cape Quarter is my weekly go-to for lunch. Their hot foods counter has a great selection of freshly prepared burgers, boerewors rolls, sosaties, sandwiches, vetkoek and other delicious grab & go meals. Their salad counter also has a wonderful selection of fresh toppings to build your own salad. Staff are friendly, and there is always a positive vibe in this store!

The Black Friday experience at this store was rather bleak. Thursday and Friday morning the 2 kg sugar special was still not available. Managed to get the last pack of toilet paper of only 2 that was available Thursday early morning.

As someone that comes to this area on overnight business, I love being able to shop here. I appreciate that I can get fresh food made or already prepared. You can have salads or sandwiches made, as well as get food from the grill. Many options that are really great went you don’t want to go to a restaurant. They really have everything I need to be able to have stuff for the three days I’m in town. The employees are also friendly and there is a large security presence.

Well presented, lots of variety and fresh produce. I visited a Wholefoods in New York recently and it feels similar to that, mixed in with a bit of Morrisons, which is a compliment.

All Spar their services are always on top but this One in Cape Quarter is just my favourite and now that I even live closer to it,it makes me more happier then ever ,every service in This Spar is just Top up 👌🏾,Salad bar is my favourite 🤩

Nice grocery right along the main street. Not far from the port. Fresh baked bread and rolls right at 9am

This was the local supermarket to our Cape Town Airbnb, and it's very good. Well-stocked with everything you need for a bit of self-catering (if you tire of Cape Town's restaurants!). Best thing we discovered was the salad & sandwich lunch offerings. Follow the locals in there as they pick up their lunches and you'll see why - you can have every kind of salad; grab a juicy steak and chips, fabulous toasted sandwiches. Plus a lovely bakery section with tempting cakes and sweets. (Also, if you're self-catering you can top up your electricity here). Staff are lovely and helpful. Overall, a great supermarket and a bit of a hidden gem for lunch!

I like the way the ground men working because everything almost is visible not like other shops. But the cooldrinks freeze i think is not working perfect. I thank you 👏👏

Friendly staff. The salad bar and build your own sub is a wonderful lunch option. The bakery is always filled with deliciousness.

Normally very happy with this spar. But I do not understand if the spar is still open, even though its 10 minutes from closing time. That the staff at the salad bar tells me the salad bar is closed already. I can't really justify how a service can end before closing time. Really not nice seeing I specifically drove here for a salad. Just to be greeted by an unhappy face, telling me the salad bar is already closed.

They wrap the paper lunch boxes with non-recyclable plastic. Total disregard to where this plastic ends up. Use to buy here my lunch here everyday with my colleagues for years as my office is quite close. We will never buy again until they change the plastic wrapping again. We'll have to go from now on to food lovers close by

Oh my word!! The best VEGAN section I have ever seen in a supermarket in Cape Town!! There is a pharmacy, it's clean and the fruit-n-veggie section is amazing too. Staff are friendly and I would highly recommend a stop here even if it's for a bottle of water. #Awesome

Fabulous, was so impressed that I found a ready to go brunch meal there that is healthy after breaking my Intermittent Fasting for today.Two mini omlettes for R29 99, heated under the grill and outta there!

I love the long opening hours and free parking on Dixon street, makes it very convenient. They have everything you need. My particular fav is the gluten free/vegan aisle which has the best snacks, baking ingredients, cereal and even vegan hot chocolate (located at the back near where you enter the till queue). There's also a vegan frozen food fridge near the sushi area.

Rather small but just beautiful and all delicious. Fresh, with love arranged and with passion explained, super friendly staff. Top food stop at de Waterkant.
