Awesome spot for some delicious west African food and appropriately sized beers. The owner and waitress were both very sweet. Can't go wrong with poisson braisé or egusi/fufu! Hoping to come back for some ndolé in the future 🤞

I ordered 2 portions of joloff rice and only received 1 but I was debited for 2!!! I tried to contact them and the number does not exist

Sadly, given an otherwise nice evening of standup comedy and reasonably good food, we were very disappointed to find our bill inflated with 'ghost' drink orders. When confronted, a new bill was printed out with several rounds less than the last. A time-stamped order list was not available, without even an excuse. The barmaid, manager and head busboy stared at their feet. Avoid this place - or keep a close log on your drinks, and check your bill closely.

I only spotted the place by walking pass it on the sidewalk. It was early in the evening, so it was the perfect time to see the whole space. Its lekker big, central bar area with a visible kitchen. The menu looks good but I havent eaten there yet. The staff and management are quite cool. Interior deco has a earthly, cosy African look with modern traditional paintings. Bonus: Drinks were really priced well.

I am new to Cape Town and came across Mofire on a visit. I was super impressed with how I was welcomed. I ordered fish from the menu. It was by far the best I had. Compliments to the chef. I will visit again.

Always a pleasure being at mofire to enjoy their African cuisine during the day. The smokers have private aria reserved for them no matter what you're smoking "you know what I mean".

Everything is good to mofire when we meet there it seems that we are in our respective countries

Ordered from here at 21.18. It is now 23.14 and I still have not received the order. Not to mention I get a phone call saying I have not paid, tell them my story and they say they'll call me back have not heard a word and no one is answering! Disappointed, hungry and just annoyed. Absolutely ridiculous service

I have never enjoyed a better tilapia? This was the finest grilled rever fish by far. Great music and ambience. The chilli is beautiful, it is sweet. It nice hot but dies not bite. highly recommend.

Rubbish rubbish rubbish ..I was there and ordered 3 meals and the chef got it all wrong ..I wanted beef and chicken and got cow legs instead..the egusi was rubbish.. Please avoid!overpriced nonsense
