Perfect stay, unique place, with a beautiful view on the bay and the mountain. Great attention is payed on details. Breakfast is served every day in the living room facing the ocean, with fresh food and fruit everyday. The staff is kind and available all the time. It feels like home. I strongly recommend!

My wife and I were able to stay at this magical place for a few days in celebration of our 34th anniversary. The building itself is a work of art, designed and decorated inside and out in the highest taste: superb! Our experience was one of understated luxury and comfort. Everything was right: excellent friendly service, elegant rooms, world-class views, and first-rate food. But beyond that, the artwork was spectacular and the overall ambiance was unforgettable. Unique place. Home far from home. We were happy we chose this hotel. 4 nights were not enough here, we didn’t want to leave. Next time we will stay for longer. Great location, stunning views, friendly and helpful staff (from reservation to house keeper), amazing breakfast, the design of the hotel, attention to small details, feeling of privacy - everything is beyond expectations.

Myself and my partner had the most amazing 2 days at 21 Nettleton The location is absolutely perfect, close enough to the many exquisite beaches, restaurants and the V&A Waterfront. However, funnily enough during our 2 night stay - we ended up not leaving the beautiful hotel at all as the exceptional service of the staff, the attention to detail in operations and the amazing massages one can get IN YOUR ROOM. Some of our highlights were: The staff friendliness & helpfulness The pool, even in winter was just perfect The sauna and steam room The views of the Atlantic Seaboard Dinner Breakfast was out of this world too I cannot wait for my next visit to this exceptional hotel Next time it'll have to be for longer, though :)

The place is very unique. Stunning views and magic atmosphere on golden hour. Staff is always available for guests and kindness is beyond. Amazing breakfast, food and beverage experience was superb. Every detail was taken care of.

I'm going to give five stars because the setting and privacy are spectacular and they were gracious to accommodate me last minute. However, the F&B experience needs improvement. It sounds harsh, but I think this is the most grostesquely overpriced food I've had. Dinner for ONE was nearly $400 USD and it was just okay -- not close to the tasty fare of Ellerman House, for example. When I accepted the waiter's offer of wine, he defaulted to a $200 USD bottle without flagging the price. The breakfast was also mediocre and the berries served had small white insects on them and didn't appear to have been washed.

We stayed at 21 Nettleton on the first leg or our honeymoon trip, and were SO happy we did. The house and property are stunning, and centrally located to the best spots in Cape Town. We spent our days hiking nearby (Lion's Head can be reached on foot from the hotel, Table Mountain a ~10 min drive), driving the coast, jumping to restaurants downtown, and touring the city, all with ease. Our room was gorgeous, with beautiful views each morning while we ate breakfast on the balcony. To top matters off, the staff was fantastic and we truly enjoyed chatting with the team whenever we were at the hotel. We HIGHLY recommend 21 Nettleton for your Cape Town trip!

My partner and I travel a lot but this was easily the best hotel we have ever stayed in. I couldn’t recommend more! The facilities, food, service and more importantly the staff. The staff couldn’t be more helpful. We will be back for sure.
