Snack Bar da Antonio

Well located in the coast near the water. They are friendly and the view is amazing over the water. We had 2 Aperol and they brought us 2 small snacks with peanuts and chips we didn’t ordered but were a great match and only costed 2 euros more. Not much to complain. Recommend this spot.

Esperienza negativa – Trattamento scorretto verso i turisti ⚠️ Cibo ok per un semplice snack bar, ma il resto lascia a desiderare. Coperto non segnalato nel menù, ma aggiunto alla fine sul conto – scorretto e poco trasparente. Scontrino fiscale? Solo se lo chiedi con insistenza. Servizio scadente, quasi ostile. Se sei turista, ti trattano come una preda facile. Consiglio: attenzione al conto, chiedete sempre lo scontrino e non abbassate capul!

Very nice place to have a great view to the sunset and the lighthouse. The service was friendly and the food was good but a bit expensive for snacks (15 Euro for a shrimp salad)

Great place for sunset and aperitivo in Faro. Friendly owner and staff and good caprese salad, prosciutto with melon and caprese toast. Great value for money considering prices in Capri and recommended spot to check out. You can hear the music from nearby bar at reasonable sound levels to enjoy a conversation.

TOURISTS BEWARE: especially if you are a tourist you will be treated horribly. We were served by the manager himself and it was the worst experience we have had and we never leave negative reviews and are very conscious of how hard it is to run a business. Upon arrival we asked if we could be seated at the table overlooking the sunset where two people had just vacated so we assumed that the table could occupy two people minimum but he stated that this is only for 3 or more people and he directed us to sit at the stools. Only to find out later that two locals were welcomed at the same table were enquired about. Not only does the restaurant manager treat customers differently based on whether they are tourists or if he is generally a racist but his response was utterly unprofessional. When we confronted him about this and how this made us feel he raised his voice and lost his emotions in front of everyone at the restaurant and got very defensive that he got caught in a lie. This was really saddening as this really damages his business and we were giving him an opportunity for him to rectify the situation by communicating to him but sadly for him his response was not the behaviour of a responsible and professional restaurant manager.

I really liked this snack bar, the dishes are really simple but using fresh products and nice touches. We ate twice there and both times we were really happy with the cleanliness and tastiness of the meals. It also has a nice view and really close to the faro beach.

We had a great time at this place with a beautiful view. Service as well as drinks and food have been very good. We would enjoy to come back in future!

Il lusso della semplicità. La pace dei sensi.

Great location but treated very poorly by the manager. He refused us a vacant table mentioning it’s for 3-4 people but soon after let another couple sit there. When we brought this up, his response was to ask us to go elsewhere if we didn’t like it. Would recommend tourists to exercise caution when visiting - may be better to just pick up a drink from the place next door and enjoy the views from an alternate location!
