They do have excellent customer service. Currently on the process of updating the hotel from traditional Holiday Inn to a Holiday Inn Express The room we stayed was on the 5th floor and was updated but the toilets were moldy and dirty.

We were in town for two family funerals. No one informed us they were under construction. They put us on the second floor. The whole floor smelt of cigarettes. Outside our door was a pile of dirty sheets and pillows. The laundry was across from our door but the laundry was in the hall. The workers were hammering in the room next door we were told they stop at 8.00 pm. And start at 8.00 am. Then when we came back from visiting family at nine we discover that the workers are using the rooms either side of us. They did not settle down until 1.30am. The toilet flushed like a bomb going off. So at 3.30 the workers got up used the bathrooms both sides of us. It was so loud we got up and checked out by 8.00am. I did tell the receptionist and she did not charge us. But the young manager apologized and told us it was posted on the web site that they were under construction. I checked but could not find anything. This was a terrible experience after driving all day. We were tired out. I will never stay at this hotel again when we come to see family.

Under construction, which we were aware of. The place must be painting, it smelled new and good! I wish there were restaurants nearby :/ (there is a fastfoid place, Culvers). Rooms were clean. I think we were in a newer/updated room. It was nice. Bed was comfortable. The girl at the front desk in the morning was extremely nice and helpful when we asked about local restaurants.

Rooms are being updated. Clean and well laid out. Hotel lobby remodel completed. The site is converting from traditional Holiday Inn &Suites to a Holiday Inn Express and will have free breakfast then. Currently no on-site food available. The only advantage to no free breakfast is lack of kids and that noise. The evening front desk Man/boy was short and unfriendly when we checked in. All the other staff are great.

Just stayed here with my granddaughter and my dog Sadie. It was a wonderful stay. From the start prior Evelyn explained everything in detail to me. The room was great. Soft bed clean. Entire staff was wonderful including house keeping. The pool was nicely heated. I thought the breakfast was wonderful. They are remodeling and going under construction. I completely get it and appreciate it. I am sad to see some of these negative comments. Because this is really a great place to stay. I appreciated everyone and will come back again. So excited for all of your new improvements to come.

I would not stay here until the construction is finished if you have allergies. The lobbies, the front and floor lobbies, smell like chemicals used in construction, maybe a sealant. Plus, my room smelled moldy. I was very congested both mornings after sleeping there and rushed to get out of the room asap. I took the grab and go breakfast and ate in my car. I hope they are upgrading the heating/air conditioning units during the construction, the source of the moldy smell, or at least changing the filters. In addition to the air quality, the bed was uncomfortable. I think the mattress was old. And there is no vent in the bathroom. The bathtub/shower are spacious and they provide shampoo, conditioner, and lotion. The front desk staff was super helpful and friendly. They gave me 25,000 points on my IHG card after I told them about the air quality issues bothering my allergies.

Only reason service gets a 3 star is our company has been using alot and the same lady keeps wanting us to pay for our room then reimburse us the money the next day when we have a company card on file. Other than that the place is nice and clean and offers a free breakfast location is nice rooms are clean and staff is friendly would recommend this hotel to anyone

Sure, it's a convenient distance to the university. And the front desk was friendly and helpful with dinner suggestions. However... the carpet was dirty -- we'd end up brushing off our feet to get in bed lest we wanted the dirt in the sheets. The shower wall was grimey. The door stuck on the latch. There was, for unknown reasons, a queen size mattress with sheet half off was sorta dumped in the stairwell. Side note, no idea why recently all the holiday inns we stay in the smoke detector strobe is intrusive enough to see the flash when your eyes are closed.
