Not sure how you could make bad cheese nachos but it seems that this don taco has it down to a perfect science. The cheese was so watered down that it doesn’t even taste like cheese anymore, the chips were so soggy it couldn’t hold its shape. Safe to say that I will never go to a don taco again.

One star only because they wouldn’t let me give 0 stars. A combo meal at Don Taco in Carbondale on a Saturday afternoon. Where is the steak? If y’all were out of steak just say that! Very disappointing. More cheese than meat. You all have went way down hill and I will not be back. $13 for beans , rice and cheese I think not.

Service is absolutely ridiculous!!!! We came on a Friday for the first time! We loved the food and came back a day later on Sunday!! We even ordered the same food! I asked for a chicken burrito with no tomatoes and no onions! They took my order and It was even wrote on the receipt "no tomatoes no onions"! I received my burrito COVERED in tomato and onions, as if they added extra! There was NO picking them off!!! I kindly asked them to fix the burrito and told them I didn't order this! They said they CAN NOT fix it!! And they said that I ordered it wrong!!! When it clearly was correct on the receipt and the cook made it wrong!! Our order cost $50 plus a $5 tip!!! They refused to refund our money and said that they would not make me a new burrito!! I left still hungry and very upset with food that got thrown in that trash and money out of my pocket!! They were very rude and we will not be returning!!

So ridiculously hot inside. Can't enjoy your food. Staff is knowledgeable. Quesadilla is NOT made with a good melting cheese, it's a drier cheese. Not tasty. Tacos are great.

I love me some Don Taco! The food is great and made fresh. The employees are always polite and helpful. The place does get quite busy on weekend nights and generates crowds from the nearby Levels club. But overall I enjoy the food and the service they provide.

The restaurant was loud. Not sure if it was the amount of people, the music, the acoustics of the building, or the combination of all of the above.

Ok, they have the best food! But that’s about where the good ends.The staff are extremely rude! They are very mean! The portions of food are very small and very expensive $$$. If you want to eat here, I would suggest that you get delivery so you don’t have to come face to face with these very rude people that work here!!!

My daughter turned me onto the steak and cheese quesedillas here with cilantro. So good! I wanted more, so we came back the very next day. I ordered mine without rice or beans. I think that's more of a burrito type thing, didn't realize they came with it. Use caution when ordering.

Ordered a chicken chimichanga ala carte for $6.25 Wasn't in the the mood for rice or beans. What I wasn't expecting that it was literally just a disappointingly miniscule chimichanga thrown in a container with some nasty cheese sauce covering it and making the entire thing a soggy bland disappointment. Not a hint of crispiness for something that was just prepared two minutes before I got it. The steam I'm assuming must have been coming from the cheese sauce that it was smothered in. I don't think I've ever had a more bland chimichanga. No lettuce, onions guacamole or sour cream to go with it or even a side of salsa. I will say that the salsa that came with my chips was respectably flavorful... Although the tomato salsa pretty much was one big chunk of tomato sitting in a pool of salsa. But the salsas were at least tasty. With the disappointing lack of size of the chimichanga I have to say that I did end up leaving the restaurant still hungry. I went up to order a dessert only to find that they didn't offer any on the menu. :-(

Literally gone to this place since college. Now with fresh tortillas and still the same great food I won’t complain! A little pricey but overall good food!

Me and my dog went here to get out of the cold and to eat. I was surprised By the nice atmosphere of his place had inside. The wait for my food was not but a few minutes. The food was pretty good. A little greasy if you are health conscience ( I am sure they can accommodate healthier food items than what I got.). All in all this was a good place to eat. Nice inside. Clean bathrooms. Good food. Nice place.

The menu has a lot of options on it. There wasn't a line, and the wait to get my food wasn't long. They make the food right in front of you. It's always fresh, and the quality is good! I've recommended this restaurant to many people, and they are always pleased with this choice!

Great tacos and quesadillas! The green salsa is so good and fresh. The steak was tender and tasty. Rice and beans are so homey. The music is a little intense, but absolutely worth it.
