One of the worst fast food restaurants I've ever been to, and that's saying something. Went there to pick up two door dash orders and they made me go through the line twice. On the second time going through the line, they repeatedly told me for each item in the order that they were out of it. Tried substituting a burger meal for just fries. Tried substituting the drink for just fries. Whole time they were back there joking and laughing about their incompetence. Eventually, they said that they just couldn't make anything and that we had to leave. Needs a complete management and employee overhaul.

I went on 5/2/2023 around 3:30PM. Stood there for a good 10 minutes and then was told the lobby was closed and we’d have to use the drive through while someone else was ordering at the counter! Meanwhile other customers are getting their orders no problem. The people look/act ghetto and unprofessional and the place looks run down it’s always hot and smelly in there..the wallpaper is peeling the bathrooms are nasty and everything’s dirty and greasy. Anytime I’ve went here I’ve had bad vibes or a negative experience. Suffice to say we didn’t go through the drive through we just left and went somewhere else. Place should be closed or hire completely new staff. Never again will I go to this Wendy’s after being turned down for no reason I’d rather drive to herrin. Worst Wendy’s I’ve ever been to. Completely incompetent.

Me and my coworkers stopped here for food. Two of us used the mobile app to order food (one order). The order went through, showed the money deducted from his bank, but they were claiming it wasn't paid for. My coworker was angry, but not fighting mad. He was callih corporate and while waiting, he was trying to show his bank statement to the manager. He leaned over the counter and all four employees jumped him. This was the craziest thing I've ever seen. Police said this is not the first time that they've been called out this way. The workers there are trash.

Came by at 7:35am... All the staff was hanging out around the dumpster. I pulled into the drive thru & they said "we aren't open"... Posted hours start at 6:30am & were also verified by the company on Google 3 weeks ago.

We asked if they had baked potatoes. The cashier checked and said yes so we ordered food for people. The salad and wraps can out quick. The burger and fries were left at on the counter waiting for the backed potatoes that took at least 25 min. Then they tried to give us the cold burger and fries that had set there forever. Not a one of them even acted like they were in a hurry to get orders out in a timely manner.

Terrible service waited in the drive thru for twenty minutes for two meals, the staff were rude, mostly standing around outside talking. They weren't busy and yet still sending cars to the side to wait for their food, wrong orders being delivered to the cars. Staff were inattentive and rude. I don't typically order fast food and was traveling so thought to get something quick for the road and would not recommend it again.

Love the chili only place I get chili, BUT the drive thru service was horrible. The guy took our order raised his voice at us when placing our order, and gave 90% attitude at the window. Worse service I ever had any where

Food ok.. Non chalant workers Receipt wouldn't print soda machine not working correctly I told them n she said it's not working n that was all Ketchup pump squirted out enough for 2 lil cups n quit..other one one empty.. Ladder by soda machine.. No one seemed to try to inquire on any of these issues n it was early when we were there! Lunch time crowd probably very unsatisfied... Potatoes with sandwich was good..

The dining room needed attention. The Coke machine needed attention. I had to get our drink from the server. There was no ketchup and the counter was sticky. The service left much to be desired, but she was not rude. The floor behind the service counter could use a mop and the trash picked up. There was also a sign on the register which read, "Exact change or Card Only!"

After being stuck in the drive-thru for 20 minutes ( 20 minutes to order & 20 minutes waiting for our food as we had wait on the fries), we were finally brought out food. Too bad it wasn't ours. I went inside to let them know to find 1 employee at the counter talking to her friend on the phone (I was inside for almost 5 minutes, she was on her pho for most of that time.) Another employee finally stated "oh, you had the burgers?" I was then advised I had to wait on fries (the reason I was stuck in the drive-thru). I was finally given the correct food. No apologies, no offer to make things "right" not even a "have a good day." Though the food was good, the service and attitudes were poor. We will not be visiting the Carbondale, IL Wendy's anytime soon - if ever again.

they hardly have anything always out of food and refuse to give the money back. or they get the order completely wrong. i would not go here to eat. always rude to the customer. if they dont have the chilli its the chicken they are out of and get mad when they get complants.

Lady working drive thru was extremely rude. Place is covered with trash inside and out. Had to wait 10 minutes to get my food and I was the only person in drive thru. When I got my food, it was cold, and tea tasted old. Avoid at all costs. Has really went downhill.

Loved our meal at Wendy’s in Carbondale, IL today. I took my daughter and three grandchildren. The place was so clean! Our service was friendly and professional. We loved the drink machine. Really like the new taste of the French fries. Especially liked the “Biggie Meal” options.

Poor service!! I came here to get sum food and everything but my chicken sandwich was cold and not fresh. On top of the 15 min wait before I got my food really turned me off about coming here I didn't expect my food to be cold. I would have went back and got a refund but was running late to work

Service and food were good. What was concerning was how slippery the floors were inside. My sister almost fell twice. The slippery floors made it hard for a disabled person to walk on.

Some employee was walking around talking to another worker and freely cursing while customers were waiting inline for food. I felt that to be very insulting and disrespectful! What if kids were present!!!😠 Very unprofessional language on the job!!!

Very very mean and rude people here! I hope they stay closed — they make the whole town look bad. They will intentionally simply not serve you if they don’t like you, and I’ve heard that they have physically attacked customers here as well. Steer clear!
