No dogs. Other than that it is a lovely place to sit and watch the children play. There is a wide, shallow ditch for the children to float boats (or sticks), the municipal pool is adjacent. There is a pavillion for picnicking and a stage for performances! Swings, slides and a volley ball court. Great, large, peaceful place to read or ????

Went to the 52nd annual Carbondale Mountain Fair, and had a BLAST! I would recommend anyone to check it out. It is always the last full weekend in July.

The town does a wonderful job. It is an awesome park! NO DOGS ALLOWED. That is a bummer but I understand.

Overall great place to relax, have fun, bring your pet, catch a fair or some music eat lunch, bring your kids. We enjoyed it alot. Peace!

I love Sopris Park! The wonderful events that take place all the time throughout the year! Like Mountain Fair people doing Qigong in in the park. People just relaxing and enjoying the day and having picnics and letting the children play on the play equipment!

This park always has clean green grass. I love the little river running through and the play set is awesome. We like to come here and throw balls and such. We've had several birthday parties here and it's just an all around great park.

A nice little park but dogs are not allowed.

Lots to do on the playground and has ADA access

Is excelent for friend and Family to visit

Fun park with lots of space to play. There is a little creek running through it that was nice too. I'd give it 5 stars if there was a fence around it. Can't take your eyes off the little ones.
