Excellent buffet. These guys should show other places how to do it right. There is something for everyone. Plus most things that are supposed to be hot ARE HOT!

Very peaceful atmosphere to have a tasty Chinese buffet. They had variety of Chinese food with chicken, pork, beef, noodles, and fried items. I always love their hibachi and sushi. Seafoods are always fresh and taste great. One star less because their food was little oily and salty a bit. Clean environment in the buffet area and great customer service. I wish they keep their bathrooms clean too, was smelling bad. Great place to try lunch or dinner buffet.

Probably the best food I've ever had at a Chinese buffet. The sushi was even pretty good and they had somebody rolling it full time while I was there. Every dish was well formed and tasty. The team was overwhelmed, but they did the best they could. Three stars isn't bad when it comes to buffet ambiance. We're not exactly trying to create a five star experience, we're trying to get people in the door, seated down, eating food and going home. They successfully create a space for that. If you want ambiance go somewhere else. If you want tasty food for a reasonable price for what you get, this is a winner.

They always have everything in stock. No empty buffet trays. The servers are always polite and attentive. The place is as clean as they can keep up with( it's busy) so sometimes the floor looks a tad dirty but they are generally pretty prompt. They have a hibachi-style grill to allow for items to be grilled up. There is a sushi section which is wonderful and offers a variety of rolls and nigiri as well as a soup bar and salad bar. They have a dessert bar and ice cream cups (think school ice cream cups). There isn't a large variety of desserts to choose from but by then you are probably full.

I had a decent meal. Great sushi selection. Food tasted good, service was decent. It was busy but they did good. Price is high. We went with 10 people. I wouldn't recommend a big group as they charge gratuity even if everyone pays separately.

The food is good, and they always refill instantly. Our table server was nice and cleaned our table frequently. I asked at the hibachi station if they could stir fry vegetables separately, not mixing with meat. But they refused to do it. Apart from this, everything was good.

This place was great! They had a wide selection of food, including a variety of both healthy and fried options, salad, sushi, and live hibachi cook. Even the desert options were delicious! The staff came by to refill drinks often, and the restrooms were clean. Overall excellent spot!

It was my first time here. There were alot of choices. What I ate was good. Restaurant seemed old and needed updating. It was neat that they offered fresh sushi and hibachi! I have never seen a buffet offer that before.

Qin Guan is one of my favorite Chinese food buffets in southern Illinois. The food is always really good. They have a great variety. The staff are kind. The sushi is fresh and delicious. The outside of the restaurant might not look the nicest but the inside is actually pretty. Overall, it’s a great place.

Great buffet. Everything fresh and restocked regularly. Large selection that does change. Fresh sushi and Nigeria well made in a wide variety plus real Wasabi. Salad bar, dessert bar, sushi bar, plus three other tables bars of food. Drinks regularly refilled and plates routinely removed from tables by attendant. Plenty of clean plates, silverware and chop sticks. Was not expecting the quality find here, great early afternoon lunch.

Paid $40 for two which isn't bad nowadays. All the food was fresh and tasted amazing. The day of the $7-$10 buffet are largely done as most of those places around here are closed. As one of the few open Chinese buffets, you can't go wrong with it.

Good food but we were charged for 6 people when there were only 3 of us. I? didn't notice the overcharge until we were home. The server wasn't giving drink refills without being flagged down. Food was awesome. But the service was bad.

I am not going to lie. We had been here to eat about a month ago, and our server was horrible . She spent her entire time sitting and talking to another customer. Only asked if we needed more to drink when we were clearly getting ready to leave. I didn't judge the restaurant because of this one server, as we have been there many times before. They have a good selection of food and keep everything fresh and filled.
