Wonderful dinner experience with friendly waiters next to the Duomo. Liked it very much and would come back. It’s a bit sophisticated compared to the typical restaurants in the centre and therefore expect a higher price than the usual. But overall a good experience

The main kitchen was closed so we ordered pizza and snacks. Mini burger was delicious so was truffle fries. Tiramisu was very good. Service was on point. Celebrated my daughters birthday with tarte tatin. Toilets were clean. We were four persons.

Nous y sommes allés pour boire un verre, vraiment sympa avec la vue car situé en face de la Cathédrale. Personnel souriant et aimable. Le cocktail était très bon et bien dosé. Des petits snacks à grignoter était servis avec, ce qui fut également apprécié.

Shared a portion of the Truffle Fettucini, probably the best I’ve ever had. Soft, creamy and very truffle-y. Can’t say much about the rest of the menu, but had a good lunch experience. Service was quick and kind.

Very quick service, pizza was delicious 😋 interesting decor inside, outside very comfy and with view to Como dome.

I like everything about this place. Honestly I was scared cuz of low score in google map (3.9. / 5) but I tried it and it worth every single penny. Very nice atmosphere with life music ( No noise). Food ordered and rating: Cheese burger: 5/5. Highly recommended Truffle with potato: 5/5. Highly recommended Spagetti with Borata cheese : 5/5. Highly recommended Pizza : 3/5. I did not like the fish in it although it was my choice but it was salty ( not recommended) Vergin Mojito: 2/5. I did not like the lemon taste it was strong. Also not recommended. Overall experience: I love it and I will come back.

Ristorante da Pietro is a gem in the heart of Como. From the moment we started dinner on the terrace outside, we could notice the decor and attentive staff created a perfect setting for a memorable evening. The menu offered a delightful selection of dishes, showcasing amazing creative cuisine. Each plate was a masterpiece, bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. While the overall experience was exceptional, we did find the Sea Bass portion for three to be slightly on the small side. However, this minor detail did not overshadow our enjoyment of the meal. I highly recommend Ristorante da Pietro for anyone seeking a great dining experience in Como. The wine selection also was fantastic and the wine was extraordinary.

I hesitated to go here because it is touristy and the menu is quite broad and the reviews aren't wonderful. Honestly I don't know why! We went and the food was excellent. I had an amazing pasta with duck in a reduction sauce that was divine. My husband had the arrabiatta pasta and it was spicy so ask for the level you like. If you get the spice to your taste its great! The location could not be more beautiful with the lights against the church in a downtown square. We were there in winter and the heaters kept us plenty warm. Service was excellent.

The location and food are amazing we were served by Ellenora, she is very friendly and gave us a good advice which sweet to order.

A truly beautiful spot, and the location alone deserves five stars. The atmosphere was fantastic, setting the stage for what should have been a perfect meal. Crucially, the food was absolutely amazing and yummy. We particularly enjoyed the two dishes we ordered: the Pasta Alfredo (our primi) was rich and perfectly creamy, and the Diavola pizza (our secondi) was delicious and had a wonderful crust. However, the experience was significantly marred by the extremely long wait between our courses. After finishing our pasta, we had to wait for nearly 40 minutes for the pizza to arrive. This kind of delay between a primi and a secondi is simply too long and really broke the flow of the dinner, making the end of our meal feel anticlimactic. Overall, the quality of the food and the beautiful setting were superb and unforgettable. If the restaurant can iron out the timing of their kitchen service and ensure smoother delivery between courses, it would easily be one of the best dining experiences in Como.

Start off with the positives: The location is picturesque, right underneath the Duomo. The staff were friendly. The pizza was nice enough! Now the negatives… and really it’s a whole culmination of one thing: My other half ordered a pasta dish of which when served was stone cold… we informed the staff and they said they would replace it, that would have been good if true. The exact same dish came back 60 seconds later as if it had just been put in a microwave. The overall taste of this dish tasted like American style cheese with very salty bacon bits on there. This could just be exactly how the dish was supposed to come but it did not seem right was not pleasant. Overall: After our experience I wouldn’t return, however if in a rush for something to eat with a nice location then it’s not the worst option. The staff were friendly and hard working as there were plenty of tables to look after. The location is fantastic and the atmosphere is excellent.

DE-LI-CIOUS. An amazing diner and evening with my family and my boyfriend! All the dishes were excellent, especially the tiramisu which was the best I ever had. Truly a 10/10. The service was amazing, thanks to Kate, who was very nice and professional. And her recommendations were always spot on! The linguine were just amazing. The beautiful view on the Cattedrale di Santa Maria Assunta made our evening even more special. Hoping to come back here very soon! :)

We had a really lovely experience at Ristorante da Pietro for lunch with my family. We went there after seeing it recommended for gluten free options and we found the staff very knowledgeable, quickly explained the different options available (including gf penne or spaghetti with any of the pasta meals) and that it was prepared separately. I was served a gf bun, packaged separately and clearly marked when my family were served breadsticks and freshly made bread. The melas were delicious! The staff were so kind with our children, very friendly and very helpful, and offering kid friendly meal options. They came back to check on us and interact with the kids a number of times. We were really happy with our experience!

Unfortunately, this was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. The restaurant had a lamp placed right on the edge of the table in a very unsafe way. When I reached for my drink, the lamp fell without any fault from my side. Suddenly, the waitress came over angrily and claimed I broke it and had to pay €400! I told her it wasn’t my fault, but they threatened to call the police. Later, another staff member came and started “negotiating” the price, lowering it to €150, and in the end they pressured me into paying €75 just to get out of the situation. Completely unprofessional and felt like a scam. On top of that, the food was not tasty at all and definitely not worth the price, and the service was terrible. I absolutely do NOT recommend this place. Como has many better restaurants with much more respectful service.

We had an excellent dinner at Da Pietro. I ordered the Rigatoni Carbonara and my wife had the Truffle Fettuccine — both were among the best dishes we’ve had during our trip through Italy this November. The bruschettas we started with were also fantastic — packed with flavor and a perfect introduction to the meal. Everything that followed lived up to that great start. Highly recommend this place!

We had an extraordinary experience at Da Pietro’s. The atmosphere and ambiance was delightful. We ordered carpaccio appetizer which we highly recommend. The sea bass for the main course was the tastiest fish (no bones) we’ve had in a long time and very well served by Mario. The night was made very special by our waiter Juanito. 👍 When you visit Como, you must experience Da Pietro’s.

Great food and fantastic service! The dishes were delicious, and the atmosphere was lovely. Huge thanks to Nicholas and Virginia they were both super attentive and made us feel right at home. Will definitely be back!

The staff was really nice !! We liked the food a lot :) This was the perfect ending of our vacation. We would recommend this restaurant to anybody. The location is also beautiful. We have been to a lott of restaurants during our two weeks vacation in Italy and this one definitely stands in our top 5 !!!

This afternoon, I had the opportunity to visit da pietro and we ordered two servings of linguine with clams. It tasted absolutely perfect, and we wished we had ordered more. Please extend my compliments to the chef for such a delightful dish.
