Great scrambled eggs on toast and Darjeeling tea. Friendly and prompt service with tasteful background music at just the right volume. Will come again.

Best brunch and cafe style lunch I've had in Cardiff. Manager is lovely. So good we went twice on one weekend to try out more of the menu.

Great service and lovely food with a focus on seasonal fruit and vegetables. They even had the first British asparagus available this year – fantastic!

We tried the juice and smoothies with a cookie but there was plenty more on offer at this lovely location. We will definitely return to try some of the other offerings and there is certainly a lot on offer from all of the food and drink places along this street. Well worth a visit.

Very disappointed due to the wait and had to leave due to the parking restrictions even though disabled However We were given our breakfast to takeaway and they would not accept any payment because of the wait. When we got home we enjoyed one of the nicest breakfasts that we have experienced and we have eaten all over the world We will definitely visit again Thankyou All at Milk and Sugar Michele and Glen Sullivan

I had wanted to come here for a long time, having heard good things and seen friends’ photos of a wonderful array of colourful and healthy food options! Safe to say I was not disappointed! Despite some items being sold out, I enjoyed a lovely Middle Eastern salad & my partner said it was the best toastie he’d ever had, which is praise indeed. Staff lovely as well. Plenty of veggie/vegan options, but halal options would be great too if possible! 10/10 lovely experience. With the weather today in the lovely garden out the back it felt like we were abroad! Will definitely be back. Thanks again.

Food was good, but eggs rock solid and some parts of it were cold. Friendly staff though.

The Thursday dinner club is exceptional. Spark is a lovely venue with a relaxed atmosphere. The food is so good and very reasonably priced. The service was super friendly. The musicians you would pay good money just to see them perform. We had a great night out celebrating my mother in laws birthday. I would highly recommend and I will be going again soon. 😊

Popped into this Pontcanna cafe recently - we've been meaning to go for some time, but it's been busy. We managed to get a table, but on our own at the rear, away from the sunny street or front, which is why the atmosphere score is lower, but the space is nice enough. Great menu, order was taken promptly and enthusiastically. Some great 80/90's music playing which helped with the wait (they were very busy). We ordered two breakfasts which, as you can see, were really plentiful and well made and tasty. So many options for a great breakfast/brunch in Pontcanna!

Excellent stop for brunch with fab coffees and a perfect menu… we had the full breakfast, smoked salmon and avocados and green eggs and ham. Great atmosphere, impeccable service and fantastic cheesecake!

This is the first review I've done at age 55 but felt that I had to review the Pontcanna Milk and Sugar cafe. What an amazing find! Being able to choose what you want on your salad and then for it to be so delicious! Perfect. Great atmosphere, lovely staff, nice coffee and a little shop. All at a reasonable prices.

What a super find today! The food and coffee were outstanding. A lovely eco friendly cafe / store. So many house plants creating a calm environment. Will soon return!

What a find! Fabulous salad (which you personalise to your own taste with multiple options), beautifully presented and very reasonably priced. Would have loved to also be able to order some fresh bread to go with it, which they don’t offer, but will definitely be coming again and I loved that there were multiple outdoor tables available, especially as the weather was lovely. The staff were also very friendly, helpful & welcoming, which for me is just as important as the quality of the food. Milk & Sugar is a fantastic addition to Pontcanna and I highly recommend it. :)
