A modern hotel, located on the waterfront in Cardiff. Parking is limited, and if you do manage to get a parking space, they feel narrow. Expensive parking too, particularly as if you go out again in the evening, there's no guarantee you'll still have the space you've paid for when you get back. Rooms comfortable and well equipped. A microwave (to go with the microwave instructions in the room) would be nice. Bed comfy, pillows less so. Shower dreamy. Lovely staff, all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast surprisingly good for hot buffet. Walk into city centre takes about 20 minutes.

The room is lovely, and the location is not too far from the city centre. However sadly, our experience at Staybridge was ruined when we asked for housekeeping. So you would obviously think of this to include change of bedding, bins taken out, old towels taken out and replaced with fresh ones etc... however we were told that they do not do housekeeping on weekends as they are the busiest days? We just got given towels. Never heard of this from any apartment suites or any hotels that I've ever stayed in. Surely it's basic practise to have housekeeping done every day. It's a shame really when I was going to leave 5 stars as everything else was perfect.

This place is great. I stay away a few nights a week all over the country and this is one of the best places I've stayed. Love the social nights, the staff are fantastic and so are the other guests. Highly recommended.

NO HOUSEKEEPING! Good room. However be aware that house keeping is non-existent. Upon check in, we were told to ask for house keeping the next morning if needed, which we did. After asking next morning for house keeping, we were told by both front desk staff that house keeping doesn't happen on weekends, why this is I'm still puzzled. Surely peeple need fresh sheets, towels, toilet roll, and bins emptying. The front desk staff come across as unsympathetic, and to be quite Frank I will avoid this place in the future, and advise others to avoid, unless you fancy unkempt rooms, and expected to clean for yourself. I payed a good sum of money for this place, and definitely feel its not worth the service we have received.

We had requested an accessible room, as my husband is a wheelchair user, and when we arrived the room was large, spotlessly clean and the bathroom was fully accessible. The kitchen area however had not been thought through; had my husband been staying in the room alone he would have been unable to reach any of the cutlery or crockery. We were also disappointed with the organisation of breakfast, which had not been set up to cope with a large number of people arriving between 9 and 10am (on a Saturday!). When we arrived at 9.30am we had to share a cup of coffee as the cups had run out, then the coffee beans in the only coffee machine ran out and there was very little food remaining.

Really comfortable and affordable accommodation with a kitchenette with a fridge/ freezer, multi-purpose oven / microwave, sink etc. Clean and comfortable. Staff were also very friendly and it's in a nice location on a waterway about 15 mins walk from Central Cardiff. What's not to like?

Staff very welcoming and helpful. I absolutely loved staying here. Huge sigh was released when I closed the door behind me after entering a spacious, clean, luxurious with lovely views from the balcony; apartment. One also had a great choice from the breakfast buffet. The only thing that disturbed me was the sound of someone's chair being dragged on the above balcony throughout late evening and the early hours of the morning. I mentioned this to reception, who listened intently. It was mentioned that in future that padding of some sort would be good on the bottom of the chair legs. Having said that I would go back, and have told family and friends about.

I got a last minute deal for 3 people + a dog. Great room with all amenities. Very comfortable bed. The location is good, near de bay and also easy to access the city centre. The surrender by the docks is beautiful. The staff is super friendly. Breakfast is basic but have what you need. Definitely a great option. The rooms were overall very new, the decor is very nice, and the bathroom has a beautiful set up.

Had a wonderful time here at the hotel, not far from the city centre. There is a one stop grocery store next door, the hotel also had items to sell. Rooms was spacious and clean, had kitchen facilities. There is a nice small gym and laundry room. Great breakfast and dining area. Overall great stay!

Pleasant, spacious, quiet. Each suite has a separate bedroom and large bathroom, plus a small kitchenette. Quiet overlook of Atlantic Wharf. Reasonable cooked breakfast buffet, no bar - next door to Holiday Inn Express for that. Placed midway between Mermaid Quay/Senedd and the city centre. Limited parking at additional cost.

Good place to stay, great breakfast. Allowed to use bar next hotel. Drinks good ordered meal only two things on menu. The fist and chips were the worst we ever had burnt batter no fish in side, burnt chips, will not eat there again.

Stayed here midweek whilst visiting Cardiff. 15 minutes walk into the city, 5 minutes away from the bay, which is a must see. Room was lovely, the shower particularly good. Staff wonderful and great breakfast. Recommended.

I love everything about this hotel, the rooms were very clean, big and well decorated. It has a wonderful location, excellent customer service, and value for money. Look at the review of my room 😍😍

A lovely place to stay separate from the hotel itself. We arrived to do Hair and makeup for a bride and her bridal party, with a heavy load of kit. The man on reception was not very helpful, luckily we knew what suite we were going to, asked to use the trolley for our kits, no assistance or direction, the bride came down, who assisted and directed us to the lift. Upon leaving, returning the trolley, no communication on codes needed to leave the car park. Other bridal party members also commented on how unapproachable this man was at the reception.
